Serious issues. We ordered the jalapeño poppers,(soggy n cold) the white pizza special was supposed to have spinach tomato n ricotta,(it was just a white cheese pizza, w no taste n cardboard). A chef salad(mushy eggs, brown lettuce, old lunch meat. Tasted like chemicals. We ordered it to be delivered n after waiting an hr n a half we finally had to just go pick it up bc they couldn’t find their delivery guy. Will never waste my money there ever again

Nice local pizza place offering a large menu option including hot and cold sandwiches. You can order ahead for pickup, get delivery, or even dine in. Nice little booths and small dining table if you want to meet friends and the locals that frequent the establishment. Hoagies are a favorite of ours because the offer a variety of deli meats. Al the owner is a great guy and can been seen busy behind the counter taking care of his customers. Support his business because he supports many community events and hires the local youth giving them a chance in th work force

I had ordered a roast pork sandwich that was made with expired meat. It literally smelled like fish. Ordered mild wings that were gray, no sauce. Pizza was well overdone. Management did seem very apologetic and were willing to fix one of our orders but after screwing it up a couple of times we are done with this place. Save your money.

Best pizza place I have ever been to. Pizza, panzarottis, and cheese fries are all on point. I haven’t had the sandwiches or wings but my friends say those are awesome also

This is probably my favorite place in NJ to get a margherita pie! Thin delicious crust and that pizza is seriously delicious. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Always make sure to stop by when I’m in the area for work. Owner is also a really nice guy. I can’t really vouch for the rest of the food on the menu but I can tell you one thing. GETTHEMARGHERITAPIE. It’s absolutely delicious and you will NOT be sorry!

The only thing I’ve ever gotten from Milanese is their famous Brooklyn-style margarita pizza. Truly one of the best margarita pizzas that I have ever had. Every time that I am in the mood for margarita pizza, they’re my first stop.

When I walked out of this place, I felt as if I needed a shower. It’s gross and dingy in there. I didn’t like anything about the pizza. It was spread uneven. Thin in the center so it flopped, and then thick and doughy up towards the crust. And the sauce. meh! The only thing allowing me to give this place two stars is that the service was nice… however, I will not be back.

I used to like this place I really did but after my most recent visit I don’t think i will be coming back. I came in after work one night to order two slices of pepperoni to go and as soon as i walked in this slutty looking girl behind the counter with her belly button piercing showing walks up to the counter and as if annoyed by my presence sighs and says«What do you want?» I told her what i wanted and she threw the two slices in the oven and then went back to joking around with the guys in the back. They must’ve been making fun of her for being a slut probably cause she started cursing right in front of me saying«shut the f*** up!» when one of the guys said«whoa whoa theres a customer right there.» She then said«i dont give a sh*t.» She then got the slices out of the oven and shoved them in a box and handed them to me like she was saying«Here you go now get out.» I got home which is less than 5 minutes from here and the slices were already lukewarm and were too thin and i actually like thin crust but these slices were too thin. It also seemed underdone and had very little sauce. I also got a boost and the boost was very watered down it wasn’t nice and slushy like i like it it was almost all water and very little slush. Probably not coming back here for a long long time

So run by children. I gave them a third chance… All three times the girl who answered the phone verified the order was written correctly but the«cook» made it incorrectly. Three strikes your out.

When Milanese moved to their current location(years ago) on Howard Street, I really wanted to like them and I wanted to believe the food would be good. However, that has not been the case. Positives — From the location, to the exterior of the shop … it’s nice. It looks like a quaint, mom & pop style pizza place that you would expect to find in a nice town like Riverton. The people behind the counter seemed friendly too. Negatives — Gotta start off with the pizza. I’ve had their pizza numerous times over the years and my biggest gripe is that the pizza itself is just too thin. The dough is flimsy like paper. I had 2 slices and finished them like were nothing. The crust, cheese and sauce weren’t bad … but I couldn’t get over how thin and unsatisfying the pizza was. And this is coming from a guy who doesn’t like thick crust or deep-dish style pizzas either. On my last visit, I said forget the pizza. I decided to order a pork roll, egg and cheese. Well, they forgot to put eggs on my sandwich, so i was just left with a pork roll and cheese sandwich. And I was charged close to $ 7.00 for it. Very disappointing.

It’s hit or miss. It appears to be run by kids. But lots of energy and never ignore you. Fresh pies are the best. There sandwiches are great. I think I caught them on an off night. Hope to review again soon.

When this shop first opened, the pizza was positively delicious. Sadly, that was several years ago and a lot has changed since. Last night was the FINAL food I will ever order here; the menu has already been tossed into the recycle bin. Let me start by saying we always order take out pizza, usually with pepperoni. A few months back when we we ordered a large pepperoni pie, the box contained a medium pie with 2 pepperoni pieces on each slice. This is hardly what you would call a pepperoni pizza — the topping was really skimpy! The next time I ordered, I told the girl on the phone what happened previously and said to make sure they put enough pepperoni on the pizza. Same thing was in the box, except some slices had only 1 piece of pepperoni instead of 2. Even skimpier toppings. And the next time I ordered, I told the girl about the previous 2 incidents and told her I wanted to make sure the pizza had plenty of pepperoni, so I ordered EXTRA pepperoni. I paid for extra toppings alright, but the pizza looked exactly the same as it did the previous time with 1 piece on some slices, 2 pieces on others. We decided to stop going there because they apparently are cheaping out on the toppings on the pizza. Three times in a row was enough. That all happened between October and November of 2012. So here it is 2013 and Lent started yesterday. I suggested we get a plain pizza and to give Milanese another try at plain. The girl told me 20 to 25 minutes. We arrived at the 20 minute mark and the pizza was boxed and ready. When we opened the box at home(4 minutes away), the pizza was already cold and the cheese was solid, like it was out of the oven for 10 minutes already when we got it. Why would the order taker tell you to come so late? Doesn’t she know(or care) that there are no pizza orders waiting to be made? Further, the dough was completely overworked: it was tough, chewy, thick and partially dried out. Without a doubt this was the worst pizza I ever had from Milanese and in my top 3 Worst Pizzas Ever. We are SO done with Milanese.

Ordered a cheesesteak Stromboli and its missing the cheesesteak! At first I thought we received a «cheese only» but then we found very small traces of actual cheesesteak. It’s super salty and super cheesy. Not worth the $ 12! I will say, I had two slices before(cheese and white) and they’re awesome.

Every town has to have a pizza shop. I think its law in NJ. This is Riverton’s Pizza shop. It does a great job at being an-open seating classic walk up counter Pizza joint. TV in the corner type place. Kids always welcome here, paper plates, soda cups, and skinny thin napkins type fare. It’s timeless. We’ve eaten here countless times, never have I had anything bad from the menu or served poorly. Pizza is good, steaks are good, Hoagies are good. Prices and portions are totally reasonable. Boost(a local drink) on tap, and in «Slushy» form! Lots of options for everyone. Great wings and good salads too! One of my favorites is the buffalo chicken salad. If your in town, and just want to grab a slice without a fuss, this place is the deal. When we have family from out of town, they BEG us to go there. :) not much arm twisting! Service is quick and friendly. Parking can be limited out front(Street parking). so we often park in the lot across the street(the Riverton public parking lot. not the dance studio. the dance studio seems to have some sort of angst against parking.)

Love their Brooklyn Margarita pizza. Great small slices for a party and leftovers freeze well. Very busy place. Good thing.

This is a review by a vegetarian That’s some good value: $ 1.60 for a full sized 1⁄8th of an 18inch pizza slice. The pizza is real too, not some schlock. Good bargain bites combo with the ice cream next door at Nelly Bly’s. Couple of TV’s on the wall but not really designed for staying for an entire sporting event, just till you finish your pie.
