I don’t usually crave food from a casino, but when I do, it’s Leo’s Deli at Argosy Casino.
I know it’s quite a big claim, but Leo’s Deli has the BEST Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had. That is no small task as I’ve had many a Reuben in my day.
Heaps of corned beef! An average sized adult could get full off of half a Reuben from Leo’s. Whenever I come back to my hometown of Kansas City, I make it a point to stop by Leo’s. I don’t care if I walk out with my clothes smelling like cigarette smoke from the casino, it’s completely worth it.
If you’re not into Reubens, they have a great chilli cheese dog as well.

Anytime I’m hungry and looking for late night food this deli comes to my rescue. I thought before it was 24hrs but came once to the deli being closed, so boo. I think they close around 4 or 5am depending on weekend or weekday. Best to call in advance.
I’ve only really tried their hot sandwiches but have had a friend get a cold roast beef sandwich and request for it being hot. Their sandwiches are made to order and have a good portion of meat. For small eaters, half will probably suffice. For heavy eaters and hungry people, a full sandwich is needed. For the portion and price it beats going to fast food in the AM.
