Ridgewood Eats

This is without a doubt, fantastic garbage food. If you don’t own a deep fryer, this is the best way to get the gross food you want to eat at midnight if you live in ridgewood or bushwick. BUT Just tried to order it a block outside of bushwick and it claimed no delivery fee. Looked at the final fee and they’re trying to charge a 10 $ delivery fee for being 2 blocks outside of bushwick. Dont pay for this unless you live 3 blocks from them or you have loose money to spend on garbage. Pretty sour that they tried to trick me into paying $ 10 extra for frozen deep fried chicken fingers/​mozzerella sticks. If you live in bedstuy, for the money they’ll charge you extra, you could almost hire me, a complete stranger, to come to your house and cook your chicken fingers and mozzerella sticks. That’s how overpriced it is.

I went here at least monthly since the day they opened in Ridgewood. What used to be amazing, semi-​expensive diner food, has turned into a greasy re-​heated version of yesteryear.
Don’t bother. There are so many better burger joints and diners in the area.

I ordered food from this pace frequently and unfortunately they have gone downhill faster than zombies from The Walking Dead! I had several bad experiences with potato salad and with overly greasy, tasteless food. I had to call this place one time to correct something that didn’t show up on my seamless order and the person that answered the phone was very rude and nasty! I can only imagine what this person is like in person and don’t feel like going through that! Not recommend it

Worst service for delivery, 2-​hours to get food and over priced, they have a lot of delivery drivers but I don’t know what happens I lived 2-​blocks away and it took them 2-​hours.

This place is disgusting. The staff is ghetto, the place looks like it needs a serious makeover, and the food is terrible and lacks presentation. Someone call Gordon Ramsay!
The Crispy Taquitos are straight from the frozen food section of Key Food. It’s such a joke to charge $ 8.75, when you can buy 2 boxes for that price.
The Chicken Souvlaki platter was basic. The tzatziki sauce was a glob of spoiled mayonnaise; not edible at all.
It’s very insulting to serve that garbage to people and make them pay for it. The entire staff should be fired.

Girl in the front was very sweet we pretty much talked the whole time I was there since my table was in the front, food was amazing I love coming here they make u feel comfortable

So I order the Lumberjack breakfast, first the male diva tells me that they don’t make homefries after 3 p.m. Hello you’re a freaking dinner, homefries should always be available, so I say give french fries instead. To my surprise I did not receive the fries. When I called back and ask for my fries, the male Diva tells me that it doesn’t make sense for a Lumberjack breakfast to come with fries! WHAT??? Never ordering from here again! Not to mention the platter cost $ 9.95 with no fries! What a joke!

My husband just ordered food from this place. We ordered: two turkey deluxe with onion and potato fries and regular cheese burger. Half an hour passed by and we decided to call the place back to follow-​up on our order since the person «in-​charge» for the day didn’t take out phone number.
Instead of apologizing to us for not telling us from the moment we placed the order that it’ll take 45 minutes to an hour and assuring us to no to worry that our order will be out of the door, she’s being a wise ass telling my husband on the phone «oh well you ordered „well-​done“ and we could’ve sent it to you „medium“.
She’s being rude and disrespectful to customers so I decided to call back and asked for the manager. Unfortunately, the same person who took our orders and said,» the manager is not here. I am in-​charge for today”. I hang up the phone and 2 minutes later, I received from the person «in-​charge» for the day saying «don’t call my manager threatening about my job. Blabbing her mouth like she’s not talking to a customer. Again, I hang up the phone.
Never have I encounter an establishment treating their customers with disrespect. We have been a customer of this place for over 10 YEARS and NEVER have I been treated like this. I guess things really CHANGE.

After receiving my food with a hair on it. The owner didn’t even attend to me and my girlfriend to apologize nor did he discount anything off the check and after I told I’m not coming back due to this, he didn’t seem to care. Last time I step foot in this place!

I placed an order for delivery and the food was awful. Soup was so watered down. The order was not what I ordered and bland. It’s a shame this use to be a gem and now it’s a lump of coal.
To top it off the delivery guy showed up without the credit card machine
Will not be ordering from this place again!!!

Ridgewood eats used to be the go to place for good (semi-​expensive diner food) The service was usually always on point and the food rarely disappointed HOWEVER in recent years this place has taken a serious dive. I honestly would never eat here again… Sorry :(

The food was decent but our waitress Elizabeth got one of our orders wrong and instead of offering to fix it she decided to lie and debate our actual order poor customer service experience very disappointed

I wanted to love this place. I really did. I am a diner enthusiast, and this place is close to my apartment. I even ate there twice thinking the first time may have been an off day with the joint.
But both times the food orders were incomplete, lacking key ingredients, cold, and undercooked. The first time I ordered the portobella wrap, and this soggy creation was 90 percent mayonnaise and iceberg lettuce. I think there was a sliver of soggy mushroom in there somewhere, but I can’t be certain as it was swimming in a sea of mayonnaise.
The second time I ordered takeout I got the ridgewood omelette and the caprese panini. First off what I received WAS NOT a panini. It was on thick bread, untoasted, and missing the balsamic completely. It had no flavor. The home fries that I received had no salt, and the omelette was tiny and stuck to the takeout box. I had to scrape it off. To top it all off this undercooked and underseasoned order took over an hour to get to me, even though I literally live two blocks away.
Save your hard earned money, people. You can go to Ltauha for a quality brunch/​lunch. Or go anywhere else in Ridgewood. Seriously. Anywhere else. Just not here.

Kinda nasty with rats running around while you are trying to have a meal… Not to mention roaches omg so nasty. won’t ever see me around here again yayykksss

This place is simply terrible. We came here to eat, I ordered eggs over easy, home fries and sausage, my friend ordered a BLT with avocado. The eggs were over cook, the toast weren’t cut in half and the home fries were cold. That wasn’t the worst, my friend’s BLT had very little bacon no mayo and two uncut slaps of old unripe avocado. When we told the Owner/​Manager, he became defensive and argued that the avocados were fresh. We only complaint about the avocado…
P. S. As the owner even if you believe the customer is wrong, you do not debate with them. Poor Management, even poorer service. NEVER AGAIN! !!!

This has been our «go to» place on the occasional Friday night. Convenient, right off the M
But tonight I was so disappointed. Having been dealing with significant back problems for the last 6 months I asked if we could have a booth. There were 3 empty large booths but we were directed to a table by the hostess despite my explanation/​request. The waitress who heard my ambivalence about staying explained that if a large party came in they «would be screwed». Really? I’m sure the ADA folks would think differently.
The waitress noticed a small booth opening up and moved us before we opted to leave.
During our meal at least one of those booths remained empty.
Very disappointed.

LOL, is it just me or are North Brooklyn restaurants getting lazier and lazier? I ordered a «Grilled Chicken Pita» which is supposed to come with fries, bbq sauce, and bacon in a pita. It got here in a timely fashion and these doofuses had thrown a folded over pita into the box, dumped the chicken breast on TOP OF (not inside) it, and then slathered the entire thing with disgustingly sweet third-​rate Chinese restaurant «bbq sauce». No bacon whatsoever.
Terrible. Can’t wait until some developer knocks your shit down and puts up an artisanal mac ‘n’ cheese shop or whatever.

Based off Sicilian salad, I’m really not impressed. I’m also confused as to what is Sicilian about their Sicilian salad? There’s mozzarella capers spinach and asparagus and some spanish pimientos.
The way they serve it with balsamic and no oil, the vinegar just falls to the bottom leaving the salad feeling very dry. The only good thing about it is the mozzarella.
I like my food authentic, this is just odd.

I’ve been coming to this diner for years even for a work meeting over some tastey breakfast. I don’t like their crab cakes too much had a bad experience it’s about the only thing I wouldn’t recommend but the burgers (great), breakfast (awesome), and the pasta serving size is pretty huge so if you’re a lover of pasta you can definitely get your fill here.
It’s one of the few local mom and pops still around as the neighborhood gentrifies and I hope is still around!
They don’t do reservations on the regular but if you have a big group or special occasion they will work with you and make accommodations. Staff is super nice, bi– lingual and quick! Never have to wait long for food to be served.

Ridgewood Eats is always a go to spot in Ridgewood for fresh food that is serviced quickly. I go maybe twice a month for dinner. It’s one of the few places in the immediate area that has a dining room to sit down and have a meal. It has a diner feel, but a little modern.
The waitstaff is always courteous and friendly. They run a delivery service so you will see the delivery guys going to the back to pick up the food. The system is good so there isn’t much disruption to those who are eating in the back.
The last time I was there I had the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a homemade lemonade. The food came out quickly and hot. Everything was done just the way that I asked for.
Ridgewood Eats has an extensive menu and there is a lot to choose from. Appetizers, salads, wraps, burgers, pasta dishes, paninis, and much more. If you’re in the area, drop in and have a meal.
