I really wanted a nice, traditional diner and I found it. Super cheap prices, friendly and fast service, and the food is exactly what you want if you are in that greasy diner breakfast mood. Easy street parking and a place for bikes outside. Really close to the L train too. Such a good spot if you aren’t looking to drop a lot of cash and want some good food quick.

Very warm and friendly environment. I work in the area and whenever I get a chance I go there for a sandwich. People there are just nice and the food is good, too.

Great breakfast– the best part was watching the owner work his ass off. Great prices. Amazing pancakes!

This place has excellent food, not fancy, just tasty. There was only one waitress so the service was a little slow.

Great value. I enjoyed the scrambled egg for $ 6. It was a really good value. The fries were average. I think the sandwich woukd also be great. I would give it 4 stars if it was even cheaper on grounds of great value.

Run by some stellar people, feels family oriented. I love going to places where the kitchen isnt hiding. Everything is in plain sight super clean, and the food was very good for being a diner. Reasonably priced will return if I’m ever in the area again.

I was looking for a place to have breakfast on at 8am on a Sunday morning and found Bill’s on Unilocal. It’s the perfect little diner w/counter & table seating and really should be called Guillermo’s because it’s run(when I was there) by a team of 4 Latinos — 2 men(the cook & an order prep guy) &2 young women(who take orders by phone & provide walk-in & counter/table service). The place is clean and tidy & has an «A» rating posted in the window. They do a big take out business $ also deliver locally w/in a mile or so & there’s another guy that does that. If I didn’t know better I would have thought I was in the Mission District in SF w/all the Spanish mixed w/English spoken & the Latin music station playing softly in the background. The only problem is that if you’re driving, like I was, there’s virtually no place to park on Wyckoff. I had to circle around and find a spot on a side street. However, if you’re on foot, the Halsey St Station on the L Line is right a ross the street. The food is cheap, quickly served and good(which means what you’d expect of a neighborhood diner. I got 2scrambled eggs, 3 large link sausages, 2 pieces of toast & grits(in lieu of home fries) AND coffee(free refills) for just $ 4.75. I left a $ 1 tip because it was so cheap. You really can’t do any better than this!

I wish this place was a little closer to the Myrtle-Wyckoff stop. Good-sized diner portions of food that come out really fast. Quick and easy service. It’s more like a breakfast counter that people on their way to work stop by in the morning than a diner or restaurant. Seems like a really good neighborhood place.

i was near by before noon and i needed breakfast. Unilocal told me to come here. i did. i was not impressed but they are ok. sat by the counter, got me a breakfast sandwich with eggs and cheese and a coffee. i wanted OJ but they dont have natural only orange drink which i dont like. great prices, the clientele looked like a bunch of regulars. this is a neighborhood favorite but that might be because theres not much around.

Bill’s is the cheapest breakfast food in Ridgewood, and delivery is free. Everything you could ask for in a lowbrow diner. Servers often forget items when it is very busy, though — even water.

Super-cheap, no-frills luncheonette on the southern edge of Ridgewood. The menu is limited, coffee comes in paper cups and your toast is on a paper plate. But the service is decent and food is totally solid(unlike the only other diner in the area I’ve been to that is similarly priced, Tina’s on Flushing). Opens in the wee hours of the morning and closes at 2 p.m. Two of us ate breakfast with coffee for $ 10.50 today.

This is your typical small neighborhood diner. Theyve been around for years, right next to the L train so I usually call while I’m A few blocks away and it’s always ready when I get there, perfec for my rush hour lifestyle. The staff are all friendly and no matter what you order it’s always very affordable. Love this place!

The best breakfast place in the neighborhood! They have free delivery and for $ 4.50 you get two eggs, three pieces of sausage, a shit load of home fries, two pieces of toast, and your choice of coffee or lemon tea.
