I always have a great time here :) found them on groupon and have been a regular for their boozy brunch and lounge nights ever since. Their customer service is beyond and their food is delish! Definitely a happy girl everytime I go there :)

Beautiful Friday night last weekend with my girlfriend celebrating 3 years together, the food was perfect, tuna was medium rare for the special with sesame seeds, cauliflower, with a teriyaki sauce, and she had a chicken dinner, all perfectly cooked. With a glass of wine to toast to each other for the time being together, this was a nice place to be for our moment. Strongly recommended.

I never write Unilocal however I feel compelled to share as my experience was a terrible one. The worst reception from the word go. Terrible sangria, really rude Asian bartender, over priced, over rated don’t do it. Not worth it go to segovias. Shrimp cocktail wasn’t bad

I’ve been here before but usually just for the zucchini chips & wine. This time went for happy hour. We ordered the sliders (yum), order of parm fries (could be better) shrimp cocktail (good enough) guac (yummy & smooth) and the chicken empanadas (tasty!)
Yea I’m coming back for this happy hour. Oh and happy hour on Sunday all day. Yup all day. How great is that!

MK is a surprisingly nice spot in Ridgefield Park. The venue interior far outclasses the town– so don’t judge it based on the fact it’s in RP.
I went for brunch and the food was delicious and the atmosphere was really beautiful, it looks like it’s really awesome at night! I can’t wait to come back!

I must say when I got there I was expecting more of a lounge but it could be because we were on the restaurant side but either way I was pleasantly surprised by everything. Let me say, this was the first time I have ever been there. I picked this place for my friends birthday and solely upon the Unilocal reviews. I was expecting it to be crowded, loud etc. however, it was the exact opposite. The 5 of us were able to speak to each other without yelling, the music was subtle yet modern, the ambiance was great, and most importantly the food was phenomenal.
Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was spectacular. I loved everything.
I wasn’t too thrilled by our waiter only because he seemed as though he was doing his job and that’s it. He did ask if everything was ok or if we liked everything but that’s all, when we joked or said «thank you» he simply walked away.
The only only reason why I gave this place 4 stars was because I was expecting a lounge rather than a restaurant and the waiter was pleasant but not personable but let me say their food was worth 5 stars. Everyone got something different for apps, dinner, dessert and everything was great! The setting worth 5 stars as well! LOVED IT!

I reserved a friend’s birthday brunch for 8 people at 12:00pm on a Saturday. I asked the lady on the phone if I could come in a few minutes early to decorate the table, she said no problem. I actually called back the next day to change the head count and my reservation was on record. You can imagine my surprise when I arrive at 11:45am and the doors are locked and the lights are off. Eventually, the chef came to the door. I asked him what time they open (sign on the window says 11:30 am) he said umm I think 12:00. I explained to him what was going on and he let my friend and myself in while he called the owner. We walked in and the place was a mess from the night before. Trash and empty cups everywhere. The chef lets us know someone is on their way so we start setting up our own table. Hostess shows up and does not say a word to us. So I go up to her to let her know we have 12:00 reservations (because by the looks of things it didn’t look like they were anywhere near ready to start serving guests) and with her unpleasant attitude, she says well what time is it… It was 11:58. Another old gentleman shows up (the owner? Manager?) and he acts as if we’re not there. At this point, we’ve set up our own tables and table settings without anyone offering help. Finally, a waitress shows up and asks if we needed anything. I have to say the waitress was great!
What kind of place has their employees show up at 11:58 when they have a 12:00 opening and reservations (although their site and door say they open at 11:30am)? The worst part was not one person acknowledged their screw up! I had my group show up at 12:30 so this place could get their crap together. Had there been another place down the street for brunch, I would have moved my group. Unfortunately, there isn’t and I didn’t have time to start searching for other places nor did I want to drag balloons and other decorations around.
All of us are from the area and I can assure we won’t be back.

The food is great and they are nice it is good to have a small partie of how it looks inside but the outside isn’t that nice but it is good it can hold about 20 people outside

I’ve been here twice nice ambience and good drinks. They also have a good happy hour schedule, very spacious inside. I’ve had brunch and drinks with appetizers. If you need a change in scenery definitely check them out

This place was very awesome and refreshing. Sort of out of place in regards to the surrounding business but I’m glad its here.
Guac was solid.
Bread and butter was addicting.

We went on 12÷19÷15. Highly recommend this place for excellent food and modern design. The seafood appetizer was great! We went there on what the waiter considered a very slow night (due to the last minute holiday shopping) but that did not affect the excellent food that others described. The music was also great since there was a birthday party celebration. Check it out. We hope to go back soon.

Our company had our holiday party down in the beautiful wine cellar, as usual the service was excellent and the staff went up & down the stairs to give us top rated service; The salmon sushi rolls, calamari, and sliders were amazing appetizers, and the dinners including their famous skirt steak were amazing.
And needless to say the atmosphere in this restaurant is beautiful, this is great for groups, meetings, or simply couples as well.

It was a Tuesday evening so it was very quiet. which worked perfectly for us!
From the moment we entered, we were greeted and provided with the best customer service. Monica was our server for the evening and she took great care of us.
Aesthetically, this place was perfect for my classy gals!
Now to the food, we started with oysters, the zucchinni chips and the Bulgogi (grilled beef short ribs.) We were all pleased with our selection. The zucchinni chips weren’t too fried, nor were they oily. The short ribs were tender and seasoned perfectly. The oysters were on point!
Dinner consisted of the Roasted Salmon, NY Strip Steak and Roasted Chicken.
We were too full and pleased that we couldn’t get to dessert!

Absolutely loved this place! The ambiance is relaxing but full of life! They had good music playing also and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, everything from the bread with the seasoned butter all the way to our tiramisu desert was amazing! If someone could say a bad thing about this place they’re just lame. Not one thing I could critique, I would most definitely be back here again soon.

Actually fell into this restaurant by accident. Had planned to go to the Greek place down the block and when we learned it was BYOB, we walked to the liquor store across the street. When we did so we saw the lights for MK and decided it looked nice and decided to go there. The place is absolutely beautiful, and after ordering a lovely bottle of wine, we received fresh hot rolls. After a delicious appetizer of buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto my husband had the osso buco. Said it was the best he ever had, bar none, and I can tell you we have had this dish in many an excellent Italian restaurant. I had the chicken Francaise, also the best I have ever had. We do love our food, and couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant.

We came in for dinner the other night while looking for a new place to try and MK Valencia may just be added to my typical restaurant rotation! The décor is very modern which is a bit unusual when juxtaposed with the neighborhood its located in. They offer valet service which is nice, but street parking is free after 8pm on Saturdays and is plentiful.
I had the salmon which was served on a bed on bok choy and tomatoes and topped with enoki mushrooms. They serve the salmon medium rare, which I was initially a little iffy on, but after trying it I have no complaints. The vegetables in particular had been sauteed nicely and added a great deal of flavor to the dish. Particularly the tomatoes which complimented the fish perfectly.
Service was speedy and attentive but without being intrusive. The prices were also entirely reasonable. I have no qualms coming here again or reccomending MKV to others. Try the salmon!

Had dinner with a small group. The décor is quite beautiful. Very modern, but warm. I love the led fireplace! The food was outstanding! I had the salmon. It was perfectly prepared. My associates had the chicken marsala and another chicken specialty. Their portions were huge! Two large breasts each!
We had the chocolate bombe for dessert. It was as decadent as it was beautiful. I highly recommend it!
Their service was exceptional as well. Would come back again.

Came here for father’s day Brunch.
The restaurant is really cool looking, nice vibe, interesting décor, spacious, it got a little loud at one point, but not too bad. Awesome outside area, you forget you’re in bergen county. I loved that they do Endless brunch drinks, it encourages sitting and talking forever, which could be fun.
The oysters were ridiculously fresh, at 24/​dozen, that’s a great deal. The tuna tartare was interesting, served with an avocado cream; not traditional, just good. My mom seemed to like the salmon, the salad came with a ton of salmon, couldn’t finish. The bacon was great.
My crab omelette was dry and bland, the burger was cooked a tad rarer than asked, the croissant sandwich was dry.
I think they need to work on sweeping the floors and bit, wiping down counters, and cleaning up tables a little faster.
I imagine this place could be awesome for happy hour.
I would be willing to try again specifically for the oysters, the vibe and the booze.

Purchased a living social voucher a while back and finally used it recently. The location is off the main road in town and parking isn’t too bad. The establishment itself is nice, modern and clean with a trendy vibe to it. It seems that this was a go to spot for 40 something year olds the afternoon we came in. The service is good but not the best in regards to the waiter I had. He was attentive in the beginning and then I never saw him for the next 20 minutes or so. I think the guy was busy chatting away near the bar from what I could see.
My lady and I started with chicken empanadas. They look delicious and the order comes with 2 fried empanadas and a dipping sauce. The chicken inside the empanada is good but I’ve had tastier and more seasoned chicken empanadas. For the entrees we shared the grilled salmon and the cobb salad with grilled chicken and came with a side of blue cheese dressing but we opted for the balsamic vinegar. The salad was good and had your basic ingredients (avocado, bacon, crumbled feta cheese, mixed greens and boiled egg. The salmon was good but not the best. the waiter asked if how we like the salmon cooked (rare, medium or well) and I looked at my fiancé and thought ok lets go medium well. I must have had a dumb founded look on my face because I’ve never been asked that for grilled salmon.
Overall it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best. Its a great spot for drinks and some bar food if you ask me.

I’m appalled to find four star rating for this place. If only I could leave no star, I would. Yes, they have nice modern décor and all that jazz. But the food and service was terrible! All the staff were plain old mean and miserable. Our waitress
got all our orders incorrectly. The food took at least an hour to get there. The steak that we ordered medium rare came out well done. The price you pay for is definitely not worth the quality of food that you get. Extremely poor quality.
