Ok food for the price, but horrible service and poorly run. From taking 20 minutes to bring a check to screwing it up by adding another tables items, to getting no apology from either server or manager. Will not go back here, they definitely need new management. They also take down negative reviews on FB, so I had to write another one for them lol

Crown is the best bar/lounge in Palisades Park. Great atmosphere and even better customer service. Just yesterday, I went there to meet some friends who were having drinks. I was immediately seated, and they even offered to move us to a bigger table so that we would be more comfortable. A few seconds later, another service came to ask me if I needed anything. I wasn’t going to stay long, so I declined. Usually, restaurants around the area wrinkle their nose at people who just come to hang out in their establishments(One server at Exit 201, another lounge in town, even had the nerve to ask me «you came here and you’re not going to drink?!) Not so at Crown! They were totally cool with me just chilling there with my friends. I felt a bit thirsty and was about to call a server over. Before I could do so, I looked down and found that they had already delivered a water without me knowing! Minutes later, my friends finished their pitcher of Blue Moon and a server immediately came over to ask if we needed a refill. No waiting. No rudeness. Just excellent customer service. If you want to «turn-up» in Pal Park, head to Crown!

Came here last week for happy hour based on all the reviews. They have a small lot in the back. You can usually park it yourself before 7 pm or so. It turns into valet once it gets late. The food and atmosphere was pretty good. Ordered some fried calamari, wings, nachos, and the lamb & rice. Typical bar food. Nothing really memorable. Wings were better than average, but considering the locale, there are other better KFC places elsewhere. They have a couple of beer + shot specials for a decent price. Mixed drinks were ok. Cocktails are not really their strong suit. They also have bottle specials on whiskey, tequila, and vodka. $ 40 for Jameson and $ 70 for Macallan 12. Looks like an awesome deal for a bottle at a bar… HOWEVER, please be aware that they only store the bottle up to 2 weeks under these prices. You are also not allowed to take the bottle(that you already fully paid for) home. I think the staff conveniently forgets to mention that. Karaōke downstairs for free if you spend over $ 200. I think they only have 5 rooms though. Not sure about the size of the rooms.

The food is just average. But there are a lot of unique offerings. Outside of happy hour, the food and drinks are pricy. Nothing special. Big place.

The place where Koreans will go to eat, get a drink and go to the karaōke spot next door lol Happy hour runs 4 – 8 every day so you should try and make that! Chicken Wings & Dukbokki: Dukbokki was spicy as heck but good and chicken wings were very korean style tasting so of course it is great. Nothing too memorable but just solid korean food. Drinks: All the drinks are good and soju is always the way to go. Please bring your IDs because they won’t give you a shot glass or cup to drink from if you don’t lol But obviously you can just sneakily drink anyways whatever lol Overall: Good NJ Korean spot with a karaōke and liquor store next store for your Round 2 and Round 3 festivities.

Great new spot for Korean food and some mix of Korean fusion I guess u can call it. I didn’t like the happy hour wings they can with just sauce to dip. The restrict which sauce u can choose. I mean come on such a small thing to restrict. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

I came here tonight just to hangout and grab some drinks. The food is good as well as the service but the restaurant has a sign that shows false advertisement. It says«Ladies Night Sunday thru Thursday 9pm to Close 50% off Drinks» so I decided to ask my waiter about this sign and he said it wasn’t true. I was very disappointed in this and thought why would there even be a sign up for this. Other than that the food is pretty good at a reasonable price. It’s a cool place to grab drinks and I recommend the Sweet Red Yogurt Soju, very sweet and tastes like juice.

I absolutely love this place and tell everybody to come here. They have a great happy hour that runs from 4 – 8 daily. I don’t know what the hell they put in their wings. It’s probably crack, and I don’t care. Whatever it is, it keeps me coming back every single time. It’s not unusual for me to come here up to 3 times a week just for the Crown wings and their French fries, which are also to die for. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Great karaōke rooms. Amazing food and drinks. Everybody should come here.

It took me quite a while to muster up the courage to visit what used to be Palisades Park’s landmark diner, but I’m glad I did! Crown did not disappoint. Walking in, I realized how far they’ve come from the Eagle diner of yesteryear. Dang, this place is pretty swanky! The décor is sleek, elegant and modern. Atmosphere gets two thumbs up from this girl. My second pleasant surprise was their beer selection — they’ve got lots of interesting craft beers on deck. I ended up going with a handmade organic chocolate stout that pretty much blew me away. Off to a real good start here! Now onto my favorite part: the food menu variety. They have everything from hummus plates to Mexican grilled corn, Vietnamese tacos, classic American burgers, and of course your Korean staples as well. Seriously, this is kind of cultural amalgamation is what I love to see. Where else can you get a kimchi quesadilla? Many props to you, Crown. To top it all off, the food was fresh, well-presented and nicely prepared. Service was great as well. I will be delighted to return in the future.

there’s a new owner, new management. Some of the servers are still there, mostly new. Went on a friday night and heard of this tragedy :(they had one waitress for the entire bar area, took forever to put in an order/get an order. it’s gone downhill since the change of ownership. everything looks the same: the décor, menu, prices, but the service has gone downhill. won’t be coming as much, unless they get it back to «normal» serving times, if not better.

I met a couple of friends here for dinner. I’ve always passed by here but never dined here until last weekend. The four of us shared rice cake in Carbonara, fried wings, seafood udon soup, chicken with rice, and fried pork cutlet. We also got 2 draft beers. It was within the happy hour time(before 8pm). Everything was less than $ 75(before tax). There’s valet parking but I was able to find meter parking. Pal park. meter maids, police are always ready to get paid so Valet parking might be a better option if you know you will be there for more than 2 hours. This place is tastefully lit. Not too dark thats makes me want to sleep. But dark enough for me to keep inhaling food and beer. Credit card accepted.

Good food and drinks! They also have really good happy hour deals daily from 4−8pm. Tuesday is ladies night and girls get 15% off the bill(awesome perk for myself). The entrees here I recommend include: bulgogi sliders, fries(crunchy double fried thick-cut), chicken & rice, and spicy seafood pasta. There are a few others I can’t quite remember but most of the stuff here are pretty solid. Nice ambiance and great service. The price point beats places like this in NYC for sure. Always have had a enjoyable time at Crown.

Great place to chill with friends and catch a game. I came here for Thursday night football and sat by the bar and I was greeted promptly. The one great thing about this place is how big it is; there’s a number of tables to dine in and there’s a bar/lounge area as well. The food is a bit pricey(around $ 20 a dish for entrees) but they give you a lot of food and it comes out pretty quickly. Pitchers run for around $ 20 as well. Def a place to try out

Average bar with lounge type feel. You’ll find a mixed crowd here in terms of age, from most likely underage to 50 year olds. I can’t recommend this place to someone who can’t speak Korean well or without a Korean friend with them as the waiters here are generally on the Fobby side. With that out of the way, the food here is surprisingly better than most bars. Crown wings are double fried and tasty, also the Chicken/rice and Lamb/rice platters are really good as well. They usually have a good rotation of beers throughout the seasons(Bottled not on draft however). Cocktails here are also good, they have some flair and garnish with nice fruits. Warning: try to avoid parking the the designated lot. I’ve seen far too many drunk drivers trying to back out and play bumper cars. I cringe at the thought every time

Ahhh my favorite bar around the Bergen County area~ This place is great for a fun girls/guys night out, a big group of friends or just a night out with your significant other! Crown’s very modern and clean with a nice selection of beer, soju, wine and cocktails. I also like that their menu isn’t so limited, even though I order the same dish every time. I love their tofu kimchi(it’s a bit pricey but totally worth it!) and chicken over rice!

Can always expect good service here and a clean environment. The menu can be overwhelming and while their daily happy hour menu doesn’t offer a great deal, there are a lot of options. Their crown wings are flavorful. We really enjoyed the ddukbokki with cheese and samgyupsal. This is the second time getting their chicken and rice, and I would absolutely not recommend it – the rice is dry and the chicken lacks any flavor. Their Cajun fries are good and their tongatsu, though I wish they came out with a chicken version.

They do have happy hour specail from 5pm to 7pm and it is a nice place to have few drinks after work! I like their Chulpan Jjusam Bokkeum and that’s the only one menu I like from their food menu. Spent NYE at this place last year and was fully packed and vibe was so cool. It also has a karaōke downstairs so this is an ideal place for large group of people or family dinner or brunch.

Diner turned bar. Not bad, but certainly not particularly all that great. Crown has a nice bar area, and they have good happy hour specials, but their food left me wanting more. WAYMORE. It’s good finger food and anju. Nothing impressive. The seating is a bit awkward, as it’s like half Korean Restaurant, half sports bar. It’s a popular joint for young and olds alike, but it’s mostly a Korean crowd. What do you expect — it is in the dead center of the NJ K-town. I like how they have valet parking here — when I’m tired of trying to find metered parking on Broad or Grand street. Bartenders are generally friendly and make good cocktails. Loved the lychee martini.

This review is for the Unilocal Nighthawks! I was starving at 1am and my usual Korean take out was closing. I checked out my trusty Unilocal app and found out that Crown restaurant was open until 2am. They have a limited late night menu so I settled on squid with hot sauce and noodles. As a late night Unilocaler I don’t have high expectations but I do have minimum standards. The price was high at $ 24.95 for my dish but the deal breaker was that they didn’t include the sides such as kimchi, bean sprouts that are always part of the meal. The squid was fresh but the bigger pieces were extremely chewy. The sauce was very good but there was a thimble full of noodles! The place looks very cool and hip and I am sure it’s kicking on the weekend. They don’t serve BBQ but I will be back during regular business hours to give them another shot.
