Takes a while to get an order placed and sometimes they give you the wrong drink anyway. At times the glasses taste soapy.
I have a better time when I come here with a group of friends that come here regularly.

Who needs a Miller’s ale house frat party when there’s a traditional, we-know-you-so-we’ll-buy-you-back-a-beer type of place just down the street, where it feels like a party not a bar in penn station? The food is good here, the drinks are legit (not watered down, like too many places that I won’t name here), and the clientele is chill. It’s an Irish pub but it’s full of lovers, not fighters (ha), and the FDU crowd that shows up seems to get it – it’s no bullshit, just a good time. No drama and let’s all be friends. Music is all across the board but it’s dance friendly without ever making you feel like you’re in a club. It’s a legit Irish pub that takes care of its neighbors. Sweet.

Looking at the reviews. it seems like it wasn’t just me standing at the bar and not being acknowledged.
There were TWO workers and I stood at the bar for a good 10 – 15 minutes to order until I had to hail them down. They were putting dishes away and I KNOW they saw me.

This is flat out the deadliest bar on cedar lane. Lovely drop of Guinness. Bit of chips and a Shepard pie imported from across the pond. Good lads as well. Bartenders are well. Ro breaks the ballox however.

I stood. Just stood in the middle of the room for 10 minutes, before someone acknowledged us as we were heading out annoyed.
This is a local place and seems to entertain only regulars. I felt so out of place. No menu cards were given to us. We weren’t sure where we were supposed to sit, at the bar or the booth.
I donot like this place at all. Atleast the way we were treated. I saw they have a karaōke night on Wednesday. Was excited at first. Then realized I don’t fancy to be treated that way again. So pass. I donot recommend it.

Great little Irish pub. Love coming here after a long day at work. Staff is super friendly and fun. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. No need to get all dolled up, just come on over and have a good time. There’s also a dart board in the corner which is a nice bonus.

I like this place. I really like this place actually, and here’s why.
Staff:
The friendliest people i’ve ever seen behind a bar. They know how to work a packed bar and get people their drinks.
Atmosphere:
Come here for soccer games and you’ll have the most fun you’ve ever had (especially when the US is playing because then everyone and their mother comes). Saturday/​Sunday mornings if you can catch a BPL game (or La Liga, bundesliga, serie a etc…) you will have a good time.
Food:
I personally love the shepards pie here. Its delicious filling (but not too filling) and consistent. The burgers are really good as well.
And if you want a Guinness poured the right way come here. Its a good place for a beer some food and friendship.

Cute little bar with friendly staff and good food. The fish and chips were awesome. The batter was light and flavorful and the fish was moist and delicious. The chicken curry and rice was plentiful and had a nice flavor to it. It wasn’t like authentic indian-​restaurant chicken curry but more like a tasty chicken curry you’d find at a Chinese restaurant. The beer was nice and cold too. (Get the Smithwicks!) Highly recommend.

This bar is by far my favorite place in Bergen county. I haven’t been there much lately, but started going back and picked up right where I left off. Same bartenders, same menu and the same crappy bathroom.

This review is based on drinks and atmosphere — the numerous times I have gone here I have never eaten here. A spot for the locals — especially around the holidays it can be a Teaneck high school reunion. Cheap prices, no frills pub, darts, and good bartenders = good place to have some drinks — no heels needed. Street parking and the lot in cvs is right next door. Perfect for low key night out (unless you grew up in the area, then be ready to see some familiar faces, which can be fun after a few drinks.) If in the mood go for it — and it’s the place to be to watch a futbol match!

One of my favorite bars around. Pretty standard bar food menu, Irish breakfasts every weekend. Definitely one of the b est Guinness pints around.
Weekends could get busy. Weekday evenings are best for dinner and a drink or two. Shepherds pie is awesome, great mashed potatoes not dry at all; buffalo shrimp, tangy and spicy not overly fried.
They have a dart board and a jukebox
