The driving factor on my rating of this place is SERVICE. I’ve never been in their actual location, but twice now when I’ve been literally stranded at work due to weather(Snowmageddon in January and the Icepocalypse today) these guys have been open and delivering hot, delicious food. The pricing is super cheap for the amount of food you get and the food is really good. Last time I got the Koshari, which was excellent, this time I got a king potato and lamb gyro, and they are solid as well. Thanks for being open, guys. I would be so freakin’ hungry right now without you.

Best gyros and best workers. They are always consistent and the food is incredibly fresh. They keep the restaurant immaculate and I’ve never sat at a dirty table

Charming exterior and interior. Very colorful. Decided to stop here because our group chose to eat some gyro based on the Unilocal reviews. It opens at 11 on Saturday and it was delicious. Got the lamb gyro and it was the perfect size and taste.

I randomly found this little cozy restaurant and I’m glad I did. Their super steak sandwich is awesome(you can ask them to mix chicken and beef in one sandwich, it is worth trying) the buffalo chicken sandwich was great too. I’ve been to this place many many time and never been disappointed.

The guys at this place are super nice and the food is solid, simple grill fare. Cheesesteaks are darn good, mozzarella sticks can hang with the best of them and fries are fresh cut. Kebabs here are great too.

HOLYSHIT! Randomly ordered from them after a Unilocal recommendation– SOHAPPY I DID. We ordered a veggie philly and a regular one. Both AWESOME! the veggie was on point! Onion rings and fries were super crispy and hot upon delivery– not soggy like delivery fries usually get! Their loaded king potato is NOJOKE. It’s huge and it’s loaded. So happy to have found this hidden gem!

I went here looking for a good cheesesteak and while it was ok — it wasn’t great. I didn’t expect quality cheesesteak from Philadelphia like that of Pats and Genos; however, I did expect it to be good based on the reviews. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with American cheese. Mayo lettuce and onions are added on unless you request it not to. They use store bought steak ems which was fine. My issue was the mayo and the salt level on the steak. The mayo was so thick that it became overwhelming. The bread wasn’t exactly fresh but at least it was toasted . I wouldn’t come back again for a cheesesteak but they also sell kabobs which I would come back to try if I am in the area. The price here is good so if you’re looking to save a couple bucks on cheap lunch, this is the place for you.

Definitely my kind of simple, inexpensive, but delicious cheese steak/french fries/cheese sticks kind of place. The delivery was much faster than the 1 hour estimate as well, so that was a nice bonus. You get a lot of food for your money here. It’s a no frills, simple, greasy, flavorful kind of thing, if that’s what you want you can’t go wrong.

Great for some late night grub! Buffalo chicken and turkey pesto seem to be the only two things I ever order bc you just can’t go wrong! One of these days I’ll branch out… :)

I order delivery from this place quite often and they never dissapoint! I’ve tried most everything on the menu and am always satisfied. I love getting their philly steak in a wrap and the Koshari is an Egyptian dish that’s very hearty, everyone should try it. Oh and if you want bang for your buck get a king potato or broccoli and cheese potato because they come loaded with deliciousness!

Kinda of a dive especially for the area. We had two steak and cheese with fries. The sandwiches are on the greasy side, could be good for a hangover recovery. The fries are great with seasoning. A good one timer.

Came in here today to try this place out and I was shocked by how great the food and the service is, the owners are very nice and generous. I had the philly steak with fries and it was great. I drove 14 miles to come here and it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work and food quality

We had third lunch yesterday at Philly Steaks on Cary Street. Upon arrival we learned that the owners were Egyptian and decided to try the food of their homeland. They offered had falafels, Kufta, Koshari, shawerma. We went for the Koshari. I had never had it but my friend John informed me that it was accurate except that the lentils are typically served on the side and usually there us also a garlic vinegar sauce. The dish had rice, macaroni, lentils, and these delicious caramelized onions. It was served with a spicy red sauce. I’m not much of a pasta person so I focused more on rice lentils, and onions. the meal is tasty and very hearty. The servers were very friendly and infomative about their food and culture. If you are look to try something new I recommend trying the Koshari at Philly Steak & Gyros.

What I’ve come to learn is never judge a place by it’s size. This place is small but their flavor in foods is big! They are most popular for their cheesesteaks and gyros. I got a traditional regular Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious. Now I’ve had the experience of tasting an authentic Philly cheesesteak in Philly, and I gotta say this comes pretty close. Now you can get lettuce, mayo, tomatoes, and grilled onions. I chose to just get Mayo, provolone cheese and onions. Since I believe the only vegetables on a Philly cheesesteak should be onions and peppers I didn’t want lettuce or tomatoes, just seems weird. My bf however did get all that on his chicken version and he said it was very tasty. When I opened it up it just looked perfect and then I tasted it and I fell in love. It was the perfect combo of delicious tender steak, grilled onion and a nice hint of the provolone cheese. I wanted another one after I was done cause it was just so yummy. If you are looking for a new place to try in Cary town, go here. The people are nice and the food is great!

Wow. Their menu is varied, but I always stick with the cheese steak.(I’m vanilla). Any place that is willing to work with customers a bit gets bonus points in my book. And they added ketchup while grilling it which is even cooler. The employees seem quite genuine and quality and taste of the food is awesome. All for under eight bucks. If you really want to make them smile, look up how to say«thank you» in Arabic — on their complimentary Wifi.

Went here for a late bite to eat and thought that the servers were really nice and the food was pretty good. –Service– The décor is super neon bright here and I thought that the service was equally as exuberant. They invite you in and greet you with a smile and continue on smiling as you order. I’m not sure if they reeeaaallly love their job or they were told to do so– but it’s a nice change from the unemotional faces at other places. When my boyfriend ask for a cup of water, they told him to grab a cup and get whatever he wanted from the fountain. –Super Steak Sub– Their menu is all under $ 11 and consists of falafels, subs, and gyros. It was $ 4 for a super steak sub, $ 7 for the regular meal, and $ 11 for the large meal— meals include a drink and fries. The super steak includes provolone cheese, onions, mushrooms, and green peppers. It was a lot of food for a $ 4 sub. The sub was stuffed with a lot of meat and was cheesy throughout which I liked. The steak is chopped up into smaller pieces on the cook top and is pretty salty so the extra toppings helped out. I thought that the sub could have used a little bit of hot sauce as well. –Lamb Gyro– It was $ 5 for gyro and $ 8 for the meal. I preferred the gyro over the sub and thought that they were also very generous with the amount of meat. The seasoning of the lamb is not as pungent as other places that serve gyro but I thought that it was decent – especially for the lower price tag compared to those places. The meat was moist and there was plenty of toppings stuffed into the pita. –Fries– I’m not sure whether they make their fries fresh but they had the skin on them and came out super hot [yum!]. They were thick and crisp but could have used more salt on them. Food: 3.5 Value: 4.5 Service: 5 Overall: 4
