Terrible, awful acrylic nail job. I had to immediately get that junk taken off.

I love this place. I’ve been going here for almost 3 years since going to VCU. Doug is the only one I let touch my nails and his wife does my eyebrows. Calm atmosphere and very sweet staff.

my new nail salon… for now, jk jk i get a regular fill with gel polish for $ 26 they staff is great just make sure you get in before 630 they kindly turn you away but they’re friendliness and good work over shines your need for a fill in (lol) ! you should try if you’ve never been!

I used to go here for eyebrows and loved them. I always receive a ton of compliments after coming here. I’ve since moved and can only come when in the area, but if you are around VCU check them out for this!
Note– I did get nails done here once and they were already peeling off that night. I would recommend they get better polishes. I wouldn’t get your nails done here.

Bad worse HORRIBLE take my advice whether you get your nails done regularly or not DONT come here. Are these even trained professionals? I would be willing to bet money no…

Im a girl using my boyfriends account I normally don’t write review but this place is horrible they don’t even know what French tip is??? Cheap clears nails glued on and painted tips with white polish. Horrible horrible horrible hands down worst place I’ve ever gotten my nails done

I have just read the negative review written on this establishment. I am actually totally shocked that anyone could make such negative statements about such an excellent business. They are obviously a disgruntled customer who must have had a bad day or are upset about something other than this business. I have been a client at KT Nails ever since its inception and a client of this owner for 21 years. He has ALWAYS informed customers upon their arrival how long it would be before they are serviced. He has always, and I mean ALWAYS provided top notch service and demands the same be done by ALL his staff. He is not only an efficient and professional business owner, but he is also an honest businessman who provides A-​1 service to ALL his clients. Over the years, I have had conversations with many, many of his customers who share the same sentiments about the excellent services they have received.
I am puzzled as to why none of the many positive comments I have seen over the years are appearing on this site now, however, the one and only negative comment I have EVER seen IS appearing.
I would stake my reputation as both a local educator and minister on the quality of services one receives at KT Nails.
I encourage everyone to go and experience this business for yourself and NOT allow one negative review influence your decision.

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. The lady who did my nails was rude. The polish on my nails was clumpy, it was on my skin, and parts of my nail didn’t even have paint on them! On top of that she clipped my skin and made me bleed. I made them take the polish off and I didn’t bother asking them to re-​do them. My friend came with me and she was just as unhappy as I was. After all of this she still made me pay $ 45!!! I sat there for 2 and a half hours for nothing! I should have just walked out. Don’t even consider this place. It’s a waste of your time and your money. I regret my decision of being impatient and settling for this place instead of waiting a day (they were booked today) and going to my usual nail salon. Go to fusion nail spa instead. But if you like paying $ 60 for a mani pedi that looks like a toddler did them then KT nails is for you.
