Kim Nails

I heard about Kim Nails thru some of the girls at my new job. They said that they get this polish called Nexgen, and it holds up through all of the hospital abuse. I decided to give it a shot. I’ve been a loyal Shellac polish wearer for a few years. Nexgen is not as damaging as the other methods of having your nails done! And I got a free paraffin wax treatment!
Kim Nails is also probably the cleanest nail salon that j have ever been in!

My go to nail salon. The ladies here do a great job and are always so upbeat. I usually get a gel mani and pedicure. I love how they also have limited edition colors from time to time.
I get my eyebrows done here as well. Dianne does a great job on eyebrows and I always get many compliments on them.
Probably the best thing about Kim Nail’s is that they remember you and your personality. Sometimes I like to not talk and just completely relax and they allow that. Nice relaxing place to get pampered.

The place was empty when me and my crew arrived. Though the staff were courteous (which is really important to me) the work they did on my nails seemed dated. This place is in dire need of an upgrade in services.

The quality of my pedicure (once it was done) was fantastic. However… As seen in the picture, she was more interested in texting during my pedicure then actually doing it. Barely any time was spent buffing my feet. That’s the main reason I went! After a day at the beach, all you want is some smooth feet again. I appreciate a quiet pedicure. I’m not one to talk to the person while they do my nails. However, I would have liked to have been able to make an appointment afterwards. She was unable to understand any English, even after I wrote down the date and time that I would like my next manicure. She kept thinking I wanted to come back in four days. I’m still not exactly sure when my appointment is! I’ll probably end up skipping it and going elsewhere. Oh well!
Update: Diane from the shop has texted me to confirm my appt and is very apologetic about my experience. I will follow through with the appt and update based on that experience!

Kim Nails is GREAT! Diana offers exceptional costumer service, and truly cares about her clients. After my first visit she greets me by name, and always asks me about what’s going on in my life. She got me to start NexGen nails, which I love, and since they were more expensive than my acrylics she gave me advice to make them last longer.

I have been wanting to get my nails done since my engagement in September but have not been able to and then as the cold weather hit my nails started chipping and tearing. I didn’t want acrylics and all the damage that goes along with it. Found reviews on NextGen nails done at this salon and decided to try and Wow! Very impressed. It was a relatively quick process. My nails were short so I did get tips but you don’t have to. I’ll keep them shorter once they grow. Diane did my nails and she was amazing but if everyone in her shop is like her — then it won’t matter who does them. I’ll try and post a photo. It’s best to make an appointment and bring cash for tips. I didn’t know and felt terrible but she will definitely be seeing me again! Do your research and google NextGen it explains the differences between them and acrylics.

Kim Nails is wonderful — quick service and they do a great job with shellac and «regular» polish, and they do «American French» polish, which is a French manicure with a more natural look. Several of their staff give amazing massages too!

Second visit to Kim Nails today. I like these gals, and they do a great job.
Just make sure you go at an odd time of day, because they don’t seem to have a lot of personnel.
And it didn’t smell like pee today ;-)

The two women that were there on Monday the 21^st were super friendly and took care of us rather quickly. They were hilarious too. I’ve never been to a nail salon like this. It’s very clean. My mother and I got gel nails and paraffin wax done to our hands. Amazing! I recommend this place over and over and plan on this being my place of choice for all nail services.
