Horrendous service, even for a buffet. Waited 15 min after asking for the check. Server was standing there texting and ignoring the tables. The only meat on the tiny buffet was chicken, flavorless except for too much heat and onion. Never again for this place.

My family and I came here for the lunch buffet. So I can’t speak to any of the things they serve in their regular menu. For 9 dollars, it’s a pretty good deal. But I can’t say I really liked the food. The chicken Korma was the only thing there that was good. The Naan tasted like it was store-bought. It was ok, but not great. One of the dessert options there, rice pudding(Kheer), was made with burnt milk. You can taste the burnt milk flavor. They did not have 2 Indian Buffet Staples, Butter Chicken and Gulab Jamun. I’m a fan of Gulab Jamun, so that was disappointing. If you’re on a budget and want Indian food, this is a good choice. If not, just try something else.

When my friends invited me out here yesterday I was nervous – all of the one-star reviews on here would turn any cautious Unilocaler away. So with some trepidation I went to Kabab Bistro determined to stay away from the buffet and be careful about what I say to the owner. Psht. I had a great experience here. For those who downgrade the food for being spicy!!! It’s not bland Americanized food, it’s Indo-Pakistani so you’re going to actually have some flavor that’s not just butter, mayo, or sugar. We sat down with the friendliest waitress I’ve had in a long time, she was personable but didn’t linger too long and really helpful. I ended up getting the buffet because it’s $ 12 and all my friends got it, so what the heck. I really enjoyed everything I had. I’m not well versed in the cuisine to tell you which dish was what but seriously everything I ate was hot and delicious. It’s a buffet, so yeah, not every one of the dishes are 100% right out of the kitchen, but while I was there I saw many dishes get replaced so I can’t imagine things were sitting there«all day» as some other reviewers had exasperated. We did see the owner, and honestly, she was completely pleasant to us, no scary fire breathing dragon lady as some make her out to be. At least not while I was there. I would most definitely go back here, I had a wonderful time.

The food is good but the owner is a terrible person with no manners at all. Extremely rude and nasty. Not worth visiting again due to that lady!

I echo other commenters, the owner of this restaurant is terribly rude. This just shouldn’t be an issue at a buffet but she manages to be offensive in creative ways. I will never go back.

My experience in the Kabob Bistro was very negative. The buffet was obviously not being refreshed, the rice was dry and the one dish that looked good was almost gone unlike most good buffets that continually refresh their dishes. The raita just tasted funny but that could just be my taste. I ate only a few bites, enough to realize that I didn’t care for or trust in the freshness of the food yet when we politely voiced our concerns, we were disregarded. We paid and left. My partner ate his meal but didn’t enjoy it.
