We went here for a birthday party. The music, food and atmosphere was awesome! We had so much fun. I would recommend here for any type of event. They have a dance floor, area for dj, an event room, a bar. They typically seem like the party of the bar stays open till 3am.

If you need great pizza, go to Bella Italia. My group ordered 1 pepperoni pizza and 1 sausage pizza. I’m a fan of both and I’ve had a multitude of pizzas. These pizzas were phenomenal. Not only was the first bite like an explosion of flavor, but as I kept eating the pizza kept getting better and better. The sauce was exquisite. It was tangy, yet simple. The cheese melts across your mouth as you devour your slice. The crust is pretty good. But overall, the pizza is great. If you’re a pepperoni lover like I am, this is the place for you.

The pizza is good. Not great, but good. The rest of the food is pretty awful. I had spaghetti — the sauce was thin, watery and very acidic. The portions were small but since the food was so bad, I was ok with that. The bread that accompanied the meal was burned, the salad was small and not very fresh and the dressing looked like it had been around awhile. If you eat here, stick to the pizza.

I experienced lunch at this restaurant today. First. Service was good. This is why the rating is a 2, otherwise a 1 was in their future. The folks greeted my son and I quickly. Very nice staff who gave us time to make our selections. Food arrived fairly fast. That is where things went south. The mozzerella stick my son order were greasy without much flavor. The dipping marinara was good though. My son’s pizza also was very greasy with little flavor. He ate 2 slices and would not eat more. I had an Italian sausage sub. It ranks a THEWORST sausage sub I have ever had(and I have had a few). The sausage had no flavor. Its texture indicated that it was way overcooked in some kind of liquid. Speaking of liquid, the sauce in the sub was so watery and thin that it destroyed the roll in the small amount of time between it arriving at the table and being picked up. The meat fell out of the bottom because the sauce had made the roll so soggy. The chips that came with the sub were stale. Even trying to put salt on them did not help, I was concerned when I left that I might not make it home and would have to stop by the side of the road. It is now a number of hours later and I am still experiencing after effects. Lunch for 2 was $ 35.00. A tad high

Ordinary run of the mill strip mall Italian restaurant staffed by Hispanics. Pizza was hot but had almost no sauce and a middling amount of cheese so essentially I paid for hot cheese crust? The inside was bland and boring. My take out order seemed to take forever. Not sure Id ever have any reason to go back…

Nice fresh salad but a very average pizza, although the crust was quite tasty. The place was a little dreary but the women who waited on me were very nice. The price was good. If I go again on my next trip, I would ask for more sauce on the Pizza — that would have made a difference. The menu was pretty solid Italian and there was a fair amount of folks(locals) coming in for take-out. Seems popular.

I’ve gotten their pizza on Pizza Night many of evenings, and it’s always been very delicious. I’ve eaten in twice, and was disappointed both times. The service, although friendly, was veeeery slow and that’s when there was only a couple other customers dining in also. I’ve had the chicken parm, which was probably the worst Chicken Parmesan that I’ve ever gotten from an Italian restaurant. The Eggplant Parmesan was just as bad on another occasion. Not a fan of their bread either, and I love bread. So, to make a long review short, stick to the pizza…

I love bella Italia. It has such a nice atmosphere and you are made to feel very welcome when you walk in. They have lots of booths to sit at which is nice. I have ordered many dishes off their menu. My favorite is the ravioli spinaka. It comes with a white sauce but you can also get a red sauce. They are very generous with their homemade delicious bread and you get a nice salad with your entrée. The staff are very pleasant and the manager is always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This review is only for Sunday night salsa last night. The salsa class began around 5:30pm, though I’m not sure what the usual start time is. There were about 15 people in the class. The instructor taught the basic steps and some turns and everyone was able to alternate partners a suficient amount of time to get in some practice. Then it was time to really dance! I always travel with my own dancing partner and we had a blast. Salsa started the night and then we got bachata and even a salsa version of a 50 Cent song! If you can’t tell by now, the DJ was awesome. My husband and I danced for about an hour straight and we were soaking wet because we were constantly moving. The dance floor was just the floor of the restaurant, but they had sprinkled baby powder and it made for a great floor. I’m not exactly sure how late dancing goes, but when we left around 7:30 tons of people were still inside and six people walked in as we wakked out. With that being said, the chances of finding someone to dance with is high and you won’t be disappointed.

We visited this place this afternoon around 1:30. It wasn’t overly crowded, but not empty either. We placed the order, and the food started coming in after 5 min. We were served salad, to begin with, then bread, and finally our entrees. We had ordered Eggplant parmigiana, and veggie manicotti, and both were very nice. We ordered some garlic bread, and french fries, and the kids were happy, too. During our lunch, lots of people came in and entered into a private hall — looks like some private party was going on. On checking out, looks like they have 3 private party halls, and all inside the same place/entrace(but located way back). Each party hall has approx 6 tables, each accommodating 4 people. The food was nice, service good, and would definitely come here again.

the pizza was not bad. The service was not good. The bread wasn’t cooked through. Too much salt in the white sauce. Server did not know the difference between cheese and meat sauce. They lost our check and relied on me to remember what we had. I won’t go back.

I love their chicken wings but I mainly go for Club night on Fridays. It started getting out of hand because teenagers were getting in but they quickly fixed it by now checking IDs at the door and now it’s back to a grown up, laid back atmosphere.

I just finished an early dinner at Bella. This was my second visit. The food is served hot but the spaghetti marinara is mediocre. Of greater concern was the service. My dinner companion had the misfortune of spilling his drink. The hostess was very quick to grab a towel and assist with clean up. Unfortunately the waitress was indifferent and though she served our entrée while the clean up was in progress she never offered to refill his drink(soda). She also did not check back to see how we were doing until I had finished my meal. Just a little late for me to request parmesan cheese. While Bella Italia does not pretend to be a high class italian restaurant it should at least attend to the basics

The dinners I’ve had here are always served piping hot! A common problem in Richmond area restaurants is that they often serve their food lukewarm or even cold. This has never been a problem at Bella Italia. My favorite dish here is not on the menu but they always make it for me: pizza pasta. It is a bowl of rigatoni pasta with all manner of pizza toppings(sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, etc.), tomato sauce, and cheese, where this whole thing is baked so that the cheese gets all melty. Literally, pizza pasta. Steaming hot and always satisfying. My other favorites here are chicken parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana, and stuffed shells. An outstanding dish is linguine red clam sauce with shrimp and mushrooms. Linguine with white clam sauce comes with a ton of clams. This restaurant is not pretentious haute cuisine, but a great value.
