Amazing! My husband and I drive 36miles to eat here, simply the best. I recommend their rice pudding for dessert, creamy, cold and lightly sweetened.

Sunday buffet before tax is $ 13.85 which is an excellent price when you see the amount of food they have to offer. They weren’t sure what was gluten free but we’re more than happy to find out and let me know. The buffet offers a variety of salads, sides, soups, rices, vegetable dishes. And tons of meat options, including chicken, beef, and fish. They do private parties, catering and large groups and offer a nice also here to dine in. Great for families, couples, and singles.

The food here is delicious and the prices are fair. This place has always been a favorite of mine

For great Mediterranean food, this place is great and the buffet from mon-friday is a few bucks cheaper than the weekends. Don’t know what to get? Here’s what I get all the time. Gyro meat and garlic sauce. Bam! So much garlic, it’ll gas you up and restroom here and there. Totally worth it though.

Wanted to try a new restaurant… Nothing too fancy about the place but food is amazing… If you love Mediterranean food then give it a shot… Eat all you can… Meats were fresh and the food was delicious… Vegan options are also fine…

This place has a variety of food, but I feel the flavors are tailored to Americans. Mediterranean food is usually flavored but this was more bland. The hummus, baba ganoush and Grilled chicken were my favorite. The baklava was good but a little dry. The bread is soft and good when its hot. The gyro meat was good, the meatballs seemed a little bland to me, and the kofta kabab was cold and dry. Overall, the food is ok as expected from a buffet. But, they do have a large selection. The place is set up as a cafeteria seating. The drinks came with the buffet price.

I’ve been to the Richardson Dimassi’s a number of times. I really like the selection(lots of both veggie and meat choices) and it really works well with a low carb diet(South Beach or Atkins). The price is really good too. The atmosphere is not impressive at all but it is kept clean.

My wife and I used to come here, the food was(is) good, the décor bland — but it was close and we preferred the offerings to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. The owners decided to renovate and added accent tile(meant to be used sparingly) EVERYWHERE… and if that wasn’t enough they PAINTED a very busy pattern on the ceiling… EVERYWHERE… I can’t sit inside that restaurant now. it’s simply too much. Other locations of Dimassi’s are fine, this one waste good money to ruin the interiors. I’ll now drive down to the Cedars on Walnut HIll simply not to have to look at the ceiling.

This place is delicious! The buffet is $ 12 for dinner, which was nothing compared to how much food is available. There were vegetarian and non-dairy options as well! I really enjoyed that they listed their ingredients at the top of the glass ceilings for each dish so it was easy to see what I could and couldn’t eat with all my allergies. They have a grilled chicken that’s to die for, different types of rice, tons of meat options, fresh fruit and a variety of salads, breads, pizza for the kids, rice pudding and baklava, and lots more! I will definitely be returning in the future, the staff was so nice and happy and there were a ton of people in the restaurant. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because the décor is cafeteria-style and it’s not incredibly inviting upon first sight, but as soon as you open the door and smell the food, you’re hooked!

My gf took me here for lunch yesterday. The set-up is simple. walk in, grab a plate, load up on anything that catches your eye, select a beverage, desserts and find a table. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from such as mustard chicken, roasted chicken, shredded beef, mixed salads, breads and vegetables. Everything I tried was delicious, a little on the bland side. The atmosphere was casual, clean and the staff was helpful. The parking lot isn’t very big so finding a spot can be difficult. Both of us dined for less than $ 25.00 dollars.

Old, tired, worn out food, staff, and facility. Few vegetarian options and none of them very good. I only go to Afrah now.

2 stars for hot lamb shanks! Lamb shank was good, but wouldn’t know they had them unless I read reviews or seen a flyer at the register… as you leave. Other food was sitting out for so long it forms that outter crust. Eggplant sitting in inches of oil with a dry crusty top. What I ate was fine, but nothing rememberable. What was rememberable was the cook coming out to reach over the food to clean the counter and seeing a hair in the food. Gross. Why reaching over the food to clean? Seating is long card tables like a school cafeteria and is fine if there’s room for a large family. Not going back.

Place lacks inspiration it feels like a university cafeteria, many choices but you just eat cause you are hungry or because it’s a Sunday and most places around you are closed. The desert seems it was blunt…, by the way the pineapple is from a can. If you don’t know how that tastes… Well this is the place… — — — -Food Phantom — — –

Great for big-appetite non-vegetarians. Pricey for small-appetite vegetarian like me. Food was definitely delicious but I paid $ 14.99+tip for a small appetizer platter that would cost me $ 8.99 max at other restaurants.

I’ve always liked Dimassi’s for the variety of items on the buffet. The food is delicious and I can get my choice of meats, salads, etc. I have almost always done take-out on the buffet, which tends to be a far better deal than eating there unless you really are killing it with the refills. I’ll go fill a box up for $ 16 that more than feeds 2 – 3 people. The thing I thought was really nice is that when I was talking to one of the guys who worked there, he said they often take leftovers to some areas not far from the restaurant that are not so well off. There is a woman there who takes the food and distributes it to needy families in the neighborhood. How awesome is that? I’ve been coming here for years and they seem to be pretty consistent and doing well. Good job Dimassi’s!

This a buffet… Nothing special and the outside looks shabby. But once in the food is good. And the price affordable. Let start you go straight to the buffet and pay after you are done. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is cooked wonderfully. The salads are fresh and full of flavor. I had this baked eggplant that was very yummy I had to get seconds. Variety of rice combos were a welcome site since I was with a person who has dietary it was wonderful we could both eat and have a wonderful meal. Now on to the breads. Please get the fresh baked pita bread. Warm out of the oven. But if you are there and there is a cold on they are still good. These are so yummy. And the deserts were great… Hole in the wall and nothing fancy but the food speaks for itself. And will go back.

Come hungry and leave busting your belt. The place gets packed. There’s quite the selection and the food is decent. It’s self serve and you pay when you spent enough time stuffing yourself.

This is the best value for Greek and Mediterranean food in Richardson… the weekday lunch buffet is $ 10.81 included tax. There was a very large variety of salads, dips, vegetables an meats so you will definitely not leave hungry. The fresh pita bread and baklava was spot on! I would have paid just for the vegetables! Outstanding grilled eggplant and the stewed okra was delicious! Great salads and tabouli but needed a little more lemon or acid to be perfect. The lunch buffet was free from children running around!!! Dimassi’s would have scored five stars with some minor and affordable improvements: The interior and exterior is dated and in need of a remodel. Unlike the buffets in Las Vegas this was one large room and feels uncomfortably like a cafeteria There was only ONE team member cleaning tables or removing used plates so I had to clear a table(one plate) just to have a seat. They need extra staff for the busy lunch crowd. The placement of the tables was so close you had to make long walks to get refills or risk bumping into someone. There is enough room to create neat paths to enable traffic flow to and from the buffet line. It baffles me as to why a buffet had only one of two stocked napkin dispensers and they were those thin useless napkins. This is a buffet. If you can’t wipe off your hands, the same food is going to be on the serving spoons. No issue with plastic drink glasses but they need to be double the size. I would recommend this place to a friend and plan on returning.
