They got 2* because they had the battery i needed. Mgr had a REALLYBAD attitude berating a helpful employee who had placed the battery«on hold» as i was coming from another store that was out. His words«We dont put batteries on hold because these people usually dont come in» I will make that a self-fulfilling prophecy: i will order mkne from amazon from now on instead of supporting my soon-not-to-be local store

Wow. The store manager(Chris) had such a att-ti-tude today. Bleh. I go here for help, not that. There are so many Radio Shack stores around; find another.

Radio Shack, I’m a little tired of your employees asking me if I need help. I would like you to do this: If anyone is at the component drawers, don’t approach them. Or, I would be willing to accept if you came and asked if that person needed help, and if they didn’t, you just walked away. I walk in, «Hi, welcome to Radio Shack.» I don’t even really make eye contact, I just walk in like I know exactly what I want, which I do. I start looking through the electrolytic capacitors. As I suspect, they don’t have what I want, but I was nearby so it was worth a shot. Him: «Hi. What are you looking for?» Me: I don’t even look up, «Capacitors.» Him: «What are you working on?» Me: «A clothes dryer.» Him: «Have you looked through the top drawer? Me: «Those are ceramic disc, I need electrolytic.» Him: «Oh… what size do you need?» Me: «I need 220mF and 330mF. Both need to be 63V. I came here hoping, on the off chance you might have them, but I don’t think you do.» Him: «Oh. 63 volts. Those are 35 volts…» This is where I should break into an irate rage, but I did not. «You guys don’t have it, I guess I’ll just have to go to Tanner.» Him: «Yeah, Tanner is probably the best place to go.» =o’ Thanks.
