They just opened and they’re getting things together. My experience having lunch there today was simply wonderful. This is a country store restaurant it’s being run by some people with really good vibes. The chicken salad sandwich that I had was gourmet and that was perfection with pistachio and grape served on a thick toasted Granberry bread. The chicken was carved to perfection to make the salad pure beautiful chicken meat that was trimmed professionally. The orzo salad was mind blowing. Most importantly the whole time I felt as if I was at a friends house having a nice cuppa coffee and a lunch. Even though they are still kind of setting up right now there was an aire of peace throughout the place that was a real blessing. The place is obviously being run by people that want to do it because they enjoy it.

Middle of nowhere charming country shop & restaurant. Very friendly owners, quick delicious breakfast. Omelet w veggies cheese and bacon and awesome home fries which were slices of fresh potato deep fried and with optional grilled onions. If you somehow manage to find yourself in this neck of the woods, stop in for some food, it’s awesome.

This is a gem if you’re in the Town of Clinton or Fiddler’s Bridge area. The owners, Mr. & Mrs. Stokes, are truly the salt of the earth and they care about the community. That’s what a small business owner should be about, always. There’s no better a feeling than shopping at a business where the entire staff is polite and friendly. I’ve seen enough episodes of Little House to know how a general store should be. You have to understand that there is a deli & kitchen here that makes some of the most delicious food you’ve never eaten. I say this because you should’ve been there YESTERDAY. The sandwiches are amazing and they make a hot breakfast that truly gives you that«country» feel. It’s the upstate equivalent of a bodega. Plain and simple. They’ll always have what you need when you need it fast. I’m an advocate for small businesses and this is one that I’ll put my name and influence on because THEY’RETHATGOOD. Support small business. Support THIS business and buy local. Willis out!
