I have been to this place a few times, since it is on the way home. Every time I have been here the man at the register has been really nice, and I can watch some t.v. while waiting for the food if I did not call in advance. This place is definitely worth it to check out if you are on the go.

Not a great place. I think this was the worst chicken teriyaki I’ve had. No flavor really. Bought the extra teriyaki for 50 cents but not exciting. Total disappointment. I wish I read the reviews before spending $ 22 for 2 dinners.

I am sitting here trying to figure out how a lunch cost me $ 13. I have never paid that much at a teriyaki place for lunch. This was my 1st time here and my last I think. I was meeting a friend for lunch and she has a short lunch break being at school. I called the order in ahead of time which was no issue. When we got there, it was a frigging process. Some other students came in from the school to pick up there food which is fine but it seemed to unorganized and uncomfortable. That part steams from when I guess, the owner came out and wanted to know another students name who had came in and claimed she had an allergic reaction to some soup… I don’t think that you should give other customers the 3rd degree about that situation, take it up with the person it happened to. On to my food. I had the Katsu and it was super oily and some of the chicken was really tough and dry. The sauce was good, rice was cooked fine. They have a really large menu but I won’t be back after what I experienced today. It was really off putting. Teriyaki places are a dime a dozen.

After a 20 minute wait… We had to take our order to go due an appointment near-by. Another 5 minutes later(at this point we had 4 minutes to get to our appointment) I asked for my money back because we had to go. She kept going into the back and refused to refund my money. Turns out, part of our order had been sitting on the counter at least 10 minutes and all we needed was the 2 soups to go with our order. That took another 4 minutes to dish up the soup resulting in us being late for our appointment and did not get to eat the food. We will not be returning.

I enjoy this place for the price and convenience. They aren’t the best but the quality is about what you’d expect from the price. I don’t order meat dishes so can’t comment on that but the tofu ones are pretty decent. Do not order the soup. They make it g rah so it can take a very very long time to get it. If you want soup, go elsewhere.

I have been going to this place for about three years now and really love the food. I usually go during lunch as it’s close to my work and they have great lunch specials. This place cooks to order and uses fresh ingredients so it usually takes 10 to 15 minutes for your food to be ready during lunchtime. I recommend calling your order in and picking it up or even stay in and eat it so it is ready when you get there. I recently took my mom and aunts here for lunch and had some bad service and the lady behind the counter gave me attitude when I asked a simple question. I also went in for lunch about a month ago and the guy behind the counter was arguing with the Coca-Cola delivery person about the prices for about five minutes so myself and the person behind me eventually left. It seems like the owners don’t have the best customer service but when you do show up and they are on their game their food is really great. They have a good variety of teriyaki fried rice and Chinese food. If you’re looking for great fresh teriyaki style food this is your place to go in downtown Renton.

My experience here was so bad I had to write my first Unilocal review! I’ve never had service this bad EVER until I came to this establishment. The owner actually yelled at me and told me to «never order from here again.» Why did he tell me the soup would take 15 minutes if it was gonna be more like an hour? I gave them extra time just incase they were busy. There was only one customer(he didn’t have his food yet) but otherwise the place was empty. It took close to 5 minutes for them to acknowledge me from the kitchen«window» he said it wasn’t ready –that they are still making it. I was really hungry and also didn’t have time to wait another 15 minutes for my soup so I left and decided to get subway next door since they are pretty quick. I didn’t realize the owner of Enjoy Teriyaki was going to track me down at school and yell at me for not buying the $ 4.95 egg drop soup. I wanted soup for lunch not dinner. Had the soup been ready I would have been glad to pay for it. This establishment does not care about customer satisfaction let alone customer retention. I was generous with the star btw. How embarrassing!

This establishment deserves zero stars. I’ve ordered from this place on three different occasions. The first time I actually poured myself a little teriyaki sauce and the owner looked at me as if I was out of place. I believe the bottle was there for me to use or else it wouldn’t have been there. The third and last time I was there, I called my order in for pick up. I explained to the woman that answered the phone that I wanted the lunch combo that was around $ 6 that comes with the drink. She said okay. When I walked in to pay for my food, the total came to $ 8.?? I told her that I ordered the combo that was cheaper than what she charged me for. She said that I should’ve ordered it when I called. I explained to her that I couldn’t remember the combo #, hence asking for the combo around $ 6. I asked for the combo that I thought I previously asked for and she told me «No» and that it was«too late» You get it next time. Well, there will not be a next time. They are so rude and non hospitable and are not professional when it comes to serving your food in a personable and accommodating manner. I am student at the nearby beauty college and witnessed a fellow student receive horrible service. She ordered soup that took 35 minutes for them to prepare and she still didn’t receive it. She went in and waited 15 minutes and then they told her to return after 20 minutes. It still wasn’t ready. So she decided to grab something else to eat. As we were standing in the front, the owner came in to the beauty school and asked for the student by name. He then asked her why she left out of the restaurant without her soup. She explained that she waited a total of thirty five minutes. He asked if she still wanted the soup. She said no, she had grabbed something else to eat. He then, in a very condescending tone, told her not to order food from them anymore! Really? No apology, no, here’s a credit for the same price of your soup. I tell you, I’m fed up with ENJOYTERIYAKI and plan to NEVERRRRRRR eat there again. DON’T EATHERE!!! YOUWILLBETHOROUGHLYDISAPPOINTED!

Up until recently, I loved this place! It has the best teriyaki plate for a good amount and at a decent price but the last couple of times I’ve went, the man that rings me up seems to be charging me extra and their menu shows no price change. I confronted him about it and he states it’s been like that forever and I told him I go there to often to know that isn’t true. Any who, just be sure you pay attention to the prices when you order.

Mediocre, and not in a good way. I ordered one chicken teriyaki with all salad, no rice, and one chicken/pork combo, the way it comes. I was handed two small containers of salad, one entrée container of only chicken teriyaki and one entrée container of chicken/pork and rice… I’ve been to various teriyaki places in the Seattle area — most provide a double helping of salad if you forgo rice and vise versa. I’m disappointed in the least. Three stars instead of two because they were slightly generous portions of meat slathered in sauce(which I love). Service was normal. He wasn’t overly happy and helpful, but not mean and grumpy either. This is not going to be my first teriyaki choice when visiting Renton again, but probably not dead last. *side note because I don’t know the backstory — a woman called while I was there saying she had gotten raw chicken. The cashier related this to the cook, and a woman came in with a Togo container, and an unhappy face, as I was leaving, probably the same person.

Went to this place last night and had spicy teriyaki and it’s one of the best places I’ve ever been to! If you live in Renton, you must try out this place because in my opinion, this is the best teriyaki place in town. The service and the food are both very nice.

My mom went in today and ordered meals for her, my boyfriend and I. I ordered the spicy pork dinner. And the two of them got the chicken breast teriyaki dinners. The chicken was great and the sauce was light and delicious. The pork was great, but I wanted low spice and my mom ordered 2 – 3 stars(the highest was 5). But when I first ate it, it was SUPER spicy, and I’m usually really good with spice. So I had to wash the sauce off the pork in order to eat it. I’m not sure if that’s really how spicy a 2⁄3 is or if they forgot and made it a 5, but it was too much. But again, the pork itself was delicious. We also order pot stickers, which were amazing and the sauce they come with is perfect! Service was great but the time it took to cook was slow. But there were only two people working and I would rather wait longer for fresh food than food that is disappointing, so it wasn’t a problem. We will be back to try something new. :)

This place has great teriyaki, probably my favorite in the neighborhood. I go here about once a week, sometimes more and I tip very well(I work in the service industry), but after today I won’t go back. I was ready to place a to go order and it was my turn, then… the phone rang. He answered it and took their order then looked at me and said sorry and I wasn’t upset. As I opened my mouth the phone rang again. He picked it up and instead of asking them to hold while he took my order of 1 beef and 1 chicken teriyaki to go he started taking the phone order. It ended up being a large order so now it was going to take longer for mine to get done. I’m a pretty patient guy and I understand what its like to work a dinner rush. It can get very stressful at times. But there is no excuse for bad service. It will take longer and I’m fine with that but I refuse to contribute to a business that doesn’t give you the service you deserve as a paying customer. I hate writing a bad review, especially in my neighborhood, but there’s no way around it. Bad service is unacceptable no matter how good the food is or how bad it is. There is always 1 thing that you can provide no matter what is going on and that is good service.

I ate here last night for the first time and I also lost my blue and orange hat here or outside the restaurant where I was parked right in front of the Subway. The 3-star spicy chicken teriyaki was good(you can get 1 to 5 stars spicy). The spicy chicken has onions cooked in with it, which was nice. Complimentary hot tea. It had the right amount of rice and side salad with standard dressing. Big dining area but no public restrooms. They use part of the dining area where tables/chairs are for storage, which I think is pretty common for teriyaki restaurants for some reason. It makes the place look weird if there’s not appropriate storage in the back as they also use the hallway to the restrooms that the public can’t use. The service was good but not overly friendly like some other teriyaki restaurants I frequent. When I got back to Kirkland I realized that my hat must have fallen out of my jacket at or near the restaurant. So I tried calling the number given on Unilocal and it turned out to be the fax number. So who knows what happened to my favorite hat. At least the teriyaki was good. If you find my hat please let me know! Thanks.

Good teriyaki and short rib combo. Good amount of flavor on the chicken and short ribs were cooked, but not burnt. Will be back soon definitely.

I went there at 845 to get a togo order. They were shut down even though they say they are open until 9pm. I understand the not«eating in part», but I find this practice not customer friendly. I worked retail before. If you’re open until 9, you’re open until 9. It’s like the current, we don’t take reservations phenomena… why do we go to places that have a 30 to 45 minute wait and treat their customers like that. I’m spending my money somewhere else, which I did.

This place has some of the tastiest spicy chicken Teriyaki. They actually cook the meet with the sauce instead of squirting a thick mixture on top of it afterwards. My friends and I come here for lunch a few times a month and its always full with people eating or coming in to pick up their to go orders. The seating area isn’t very large. The staff is always happy and friendly. I recommend stopping by if you live in the area or drive by it.

Pulled off the road today to turn around and decide to try this place after the two positive reviews raved about the food. I would say that this place was a slight step up from the run of the mill teriyaki, but the food could have used more spice and flavor. The menu was large, so you have no excuse to find something that you crave. The service was nothing special, but no one was rude. Based on the lack of flavor, I doubt I would return, but I can tell you that more care went into the meal than you normally see in fast food. I’d say check them out, but based on traffic and location, I don’t see this being a hot spot.

The Beef Teriyaki is the best. The owner alway has sports playing on the TV. Good food, nice service. I recommend this place. Some times takes a while to get your order.
