Was here visiting reno for the night. We got our sandwiched(5) to go. Very good service and a nice clean restaurant. The only negative thing they’re very stingy with toppings. I asked for extra onions had to ask twice to get enough. There was only one employee working there at time. She was fast and very nice.

Nicer-than-usual Subway environment with some cushy leather chairs and couches and faux hardwood all over. Looks more like a decent little coffee shop than a typical Subway. College kids working here have attention to detail on the sammiches above and beyond any other Subway I’ve been to. Pretty classy for a Subway. Nice stop for a $ 3 breakfast sandwich and coffee.

I’m usually not one to complain about Subway, as it’s always good mainstream stuff. However, not sure what’s going on with this particular location, as well as the one around the corner on Plumb, which I believe are under the same ownership. For at least the past 9 months, it’s literally been a one-man show behind the counter, even at the busiest times during lunch and dinner. While I’m aware that even the simplest of restaurants are cutting back on labor these days, this place just seems nonstop hectic, and makes for a really long wait time, even if there’s only one or two people ahead of you in line. The lone staff member has always been friendly, and I gotta admit that this is one of the few locations where I make an extra special effort to leave something in the tip jar. This lone employee is the sandwich artist, bread baker, dishwasher, cashier, cookie bagger, and order taker, all rolled into one(although maybe not in that order!) I’ve had much better experiences at the Sierra Street location downtown, which usually has at least 2 people behind the counter, making everything run much more efficiently.

The Sandwich artist at this subway did not want to make my sandwich. I told her no mayo, and she put mayo all over both sides. Then when she realized what she’d done, she used a DIRTY knife to wipe it off. Fail. Never going there again.

We didn’t know where to get breakfast at before going up to the mountains to ski and then we saw this subway open which was just amazing. First of all the lady who worked here was super nice and didn’t mind it that my sister and I were picky on what we wanted on our sandwiches and she even labeled which one has olives an which one doesn’t. That really caught my eye because of the million times I’ve went to Subway, never has a person done that for us. Also, she even offered to wrap it into different papers so my sister and I wouldn’t have to share it in 1 paper as usual. What was also really helpful was that she gave us directions on how to go to Mt. Rose even though we’ve been going there since I was little, my dad still forgets the directions… anyways this Subway was the nicest and most helpful Subway I’ve ever been to!
