Starbucks

This is my favorite Starbucks in town! The staff are super friendly and every time I come and sit down and relax the people around me are always so friendly and the vibe is just awesome. Sometimes it can be slow, but what do you expect when there are so many people trying to get coffee in a drive thru at once? Love it here :)

I have to downgrade them as a result of the past few years of service.
The drive thru has substantially slowed down. The past few visits, scattered across an assortment of times, have all resulted in extended wait times. When the lines are long outside i’m happy to get out of the car and go inside. Even inside seems to have taken quite awhile. The priority seems to go to the drive thru, though when you are in the drive thru it doesn’t seem like that.
A recent order was requested with «no whip» and delivered to me with whipped cream on top. That easily doubled my wait time since I asked them to remake it.
I will give it an upgrade for last nights purchase. The wait time seemed far longer than the usual extended wait. When I drove up to the window to pay my drink was handed to me and the employee said «No charge since it took 17 minutes.» Thank you for this freebie but I have sat for just as long before with no change in billing and usually an incorrectly made beverage.
I am sure these are a result of the surge in people in the area as of late but they should be adapting for that staffing wise. I tend to chose another location or another chain as a result of these issues.

This place used to rock. But now the drive they takes 5x as long as it used to and you end up with a horrible drink. Why not go inside if the drive thru is so long you may think? It’s no different inside, except there you get to see the disgruntled staff making you crispy drink.
Time for me to head on down the road an extra mile. Sigh. I was here the first day this place opened up almost 10 years ago and sadly and it’s time to move on. Hopefully the management team get the staffing and quality issues under control because I will miss my home Starbucks

These girls are always amazing! There is a few other people that come here on a regular basis and are extremely friendly and always make a point to say hello. I’ve been to literally 1 million other Starbucks and this one seems to have everything I need. My favorite drink here is an Americano. Simple and not complicated. I use my iPhone app to pay and to receive my rewards. The girls are always happy to see me and happy to use my phone to process my order.

Great Starbucks… I really like all the new things that are coming out in their pastry case and for food/​snacks! A lot of the foods look tasty to eat, well they do have good pictures advertising lol. Because when I see a picture I want to order it, just like the grilled cheese! I think it cost about $ 5 but it really was a good grilled cheese and I was hungry so it tasted even better with a cup of coffee :)

Although I try to stick with locally owned coffee houses, this is probably my favorite Starbucks in Reno. It isn’t in the best location. It is not surrounded by a good view; it’s right on the side of Greg Street in a rather run down, little shopping area. But, for me, this location is in a good spot. I take the route along this area often and since this Starbucks has a drive-​thru, I can just swing in and get a cup of coffee or one of their other infamous beverages. (My favorite is their Passionfruit Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade! Yum!) Every single time I have been here I have been satisfied with the customer service. The staff is polite, professional and they run the drive-​thru well. (I have never actually stayed for coffee here. I think there are many other more pleasant Starbucks locations, in Reno, if you’re wanting to kick back and sip on something tasty.) They are fairly quick, with getting you your order, much quicker than anytime I have actually been inside of a Starbucks. Even when there are a few cars, in front of me, I’ve never had to wait more than about ten minutes. The drinks have always been mixed-​well and held up the taste you expect, from Starbucks. As far at the drive-​thru goes, they are A-​OK!

Love this Starbucks !! Lonnie is the best barista in town, you can’t find a friendlier person that works for Starbucks.

I was in a hurry, I got in line, placed my order. Then waited. The girls served lattes and everything else to the people behind me before even making my drink! She said it was because they’re drinks did not require espresso. If I’m not mistaken lattes most certainly do require espresso! Other Starbucks won’t even serve a premade tea before the next drink! So basically I stood in line for my turn and got cut by five people!!!

This place has the best staff ever. For a Starbucks they are top notch. I would highly recommend a visit as they certainly know what they are doing.

Slow and rude. Ordered my drink took forever I also ordered a beagle she threw it across the counter and it fell on the floor and my drink came out wrong. Lame.

Don’t arrive on a Sunday when it’s not busy. The only visible barista was lounging at the drive thru window chatting up some guy. She seemed to think that her conversation was more important than a customer. Asked me to wait. I left with a photo that will find its way to the manager. Giving it one star for looking like a Starbucks even if they don’t sell coffee.

I’m sorry, I must have missed the «Kara V was here» Unilocal sticker when I walked in –LOL. I have a $ 75 Starbucks gift card that I am slowly plugging away at, so I popped in here when I was in the neighborhood. Small, friendly, clean, great service from the baristas. Super generous with the whipped cream, too! Woot woot!

Ask for Kip at the drive thru. He makes a fabulous cup of coffee!!! I would know. I go way too often.

My local joint. Great group and very happy to help and usually have my drink started before I actually order it.

This seems to be SO far away from everything. But the staff is super friendly, and the drive through is quick. I bet they are super busy with high schoolers who get their drivers licenses during the school year. Lucky for me, I went here BEFORE the school year, while helping my mother set her classroom up.
