To cool for me, after having my wife hit on and the staff giving my order to their bf. Tupac and the stupid disco ball was the last thing I needed. Will stick to KFC for chicken from now on, very unprofessional business.

Can I just say how sad I am that I didn’t have this in my life until February. This is the only place I’ve lived that has had this restaurant. The chicken is about as perfect as it get’s at a fast food joint. Always juicy and not overly breaded. Love that they allow free substitutions on sides and that sauce! OHMYGOD — I love it, I buy extras to take home and add to the chicken I make at home it’s so good. Employees are always friendly and get my order right every time.

First, I’m very anti fast food. Because mostly it’s so pumped full of artificial everything and designed to be created in mass, cheaply and for quick preparation. Taste is not the primary goal. When I first saw this place, I thought it was ridiculous to have a restaurant about chicken fingers. Isn’t that what you feed toddlers who refuse to eat real food??! Through a chance, rush, must-feed-my-starving-kids-now encounter, I hit the Canes drive through. It smelled good when they were eating it… Sigh :/ So, I tried it and it’s actually a really good chicken tender! They start with fresh(not frozen) chicken, possibly in a brine or marinade because it’s really juicy. Perfectly crisp fried. I was hooked. And then the sauce. I have no idea what’s in it but it really works with the chicken. The fries are just fries, crinkle cut. Nothing to shout from the rooftops about. Then they give you a little garlic bread Texas toast. It’s a really nice addition to the whole basket of unhealthiness. They have fresh brewed ice tea and Cole slaw but I’ve never tried either. Tip: I split a 4 piece with my child and it’s plenty. Remember, it’s a big bucket of fried so go easy!

Some people have gripes about this place not serving ranch but yeah anyways… that’s like going to McDonald’s and complaining they don’t have fries sauce. This place is simple. Food is simple. Pricing is simple. Service is simple. Can’t complain when they got it nailed down.

I had to post that I had a less than stellar meal recently, and I spoke to the manager who made it right. I really appreciate a business that values and respects it’s customers! If you need a good meal, ask for a FRESHDROP(EVERYTHING), HONEYMUSTARD(HM) instead of Cane’s Sauce(hate this sauce), and then add the LOUSIANNAHOTSAUCE(Request) to HM for a DIVINELYFRESHTASTYJUICY and MOUTHWATERINGTREAT!

Went here once before with friends and it was just OK. Maybe that was a bad time. I went today and it was AMAZING! My only complaint was that it was so hot and fresh that it was burning my mouth because I couldn’t slow down. The highlight was the dipping sauce. It’s like blackpepper-ketchup-ranch I guess. Super tasty! It was so good that if I had known the kids meals also included it, I would have fished out the dipping sauce cups and replaced them with ketchup packets in all my kids meals. The menu here is limited a la In and Out, just a few options but it works. I had the 3 strip meal and sweet tea. Looking forward to going back soon! Wonder if they sell tubs of dipping sauce…

Went here for lunch after a walkabout, well for us it was a drive about. After trying to find a sandwich place that we have not been to and also have it open on Sunday was nearly impossible. It was like trying to find someone in Costco or home depot to answer a question. Not going to happen. So we came across Raising Cane. All I have heard is good things about this restaurant. When I approached the counter, I mentioned this was my first time here. The girl smiled and said welcome, we have chicken, chicken and chicken. I laughed and said I will get six piece so I could split it with my wife. It comes with six real chicken fingers,(not processed), crinkle cut fries, Texas toast, and slaw. You also receive a large cup for a soda. The chicken fingers were great. Not greasy at all and the batter coating was very flavorful. Three of these chicken fingers is a meal. They are big and juicy. It was funny, I really expected them to be a bit greasy like KFC. No greasy taste or mess on your hands. The dipping sauce is real good, tastes like thousand island. How come everyone’s secret sauce tastes like thousand island? A mystery we will never solve, but I volunteer my body and mind to further the science and education of our fellow Unilocalers. I will be back to try and find out if that is truly a secret sauce

I finally found an affinity for Raising Cane’s after I did the following… 1) Swap Honey Mustard for the Cane’s Sauce 2) Add Liberal Amounts of the Louisana Hot Sauce Packets to aforementioned 3) Have your order, «Fresh Dropped» 4) Dunk said SUPER Fresh Tender into concoction 5) Insert in mouth, chew, swallow, and feel, «ONELOVE»

For my first visit, my impression was good. No, there is no ranch… and you can’t substitute(freely) from fries to coleslaw on the 3 piece meal. This is like chicken’s version of In N Out, few menu items, but seems to be done well. I wasn’t looking forward to the fries, but surprisingly mine were really good. I didn’t eat the texas toast though, and will be sure to leave that out next time. As for the chicken tenders. They have a smooth batter, not a «panko-y» batter. I liked it. They were fresh, moist and flavorful without any sauce at all. I will definitely be back when I am craving good chicken tenders. Can’t beat the prices either and great for work lunch days.

The service here is exceptional! Super friendly, super helpful — nice and clean inside. The menu is simple and it is delicious. The toast is always perfect, the chicken is great, the tea is real, southern sweet tea(not like chikfila). The sauce is perfect. Wish they would come to California.

Not what I was expecting at all and I love it! The service is AMAZING here! Had their food when they catered(no idea they did that either) the Enterprise Car Rental grand opening earlier in the month. Well some friends and I found ourselves in this neck of the woods on Saturday and were a bit famished from all the deal hunting we were doing so we popped in. I ahd the Caniac… which is pronounced Cane-iac which for some reason I really struggled with. After the cashier corrected my grammar(apparently a lot of us don’t get it on our first try haha), he gave us cups with ice and sent us on our way. We filled our cups at the self serve station and then headed out into the CLEANEST fast food restaurant I’ve ever been in! Everything was spotless! In less than 2 minutes, our order was up and they bring it to you! They offer to grab you anything else you may need too: refill on soda, Ketchup, napkins, etc. There is like a dining room attendant who wonders around checking on you the whole time and immediately wiping down an empty table. He was a friendly guy too, making chit chat with those who cared to talk. I’ll be honest, the food was OK, nothing to write home about… but that service. I am a sucker for quality service whether it’s a 5 star restaurant or a fast food joint. I’ll be back for sure.

I know it’s a chain but I really like the chicken fingers, Texas toast, and sweet tea. I typically go to the drive-thru but I had some time before an event and decided to eat in. The chicken fingers were even better than usual! They breading was more crisp. I think they tend to sweat in the to-go box. The flavor is good eather way. I really like their dipping sauce for the chicken fingers. It has just the right amount of heat to be enjoyable. And the sweet tea! So good. Another plus about eating in is the free refill for the road! LOVE it! The restaurant is clean and the service is good. I didn’t realize they deliver to the table so I waited at the counter for my order. Next thing I know, I hear a server in the dining area calling my name, trying to deliver my food to me. I felt kinda silly but I’ll know better next time.

I eat out quite a bit. I don’t write reviews every time. I just had the best dining experience. Came in on Thursday November 12th at 1:30pm during the busy lunch rush. I knew exactly what I was looking for. Box combo no slaw extra toast. The guy asked me my name and I said it was Asshole! Just to be funny so they my would yell it to bring me my food. It sounded funnier in my head. The guy said what? I’m smiling yeah that’s my name. Handed him my debit card. He looked at the card and said okay Justin. We laughed a little bit and I sat down and waited to hear my real name to be called. One by one food was coming out and I saw people getting their food and mine didn’t come. 10 minutes went by. I walked up and asked if mine came up. There was a mixup and needed one on the fly. But I get it they were busy and I kinda curve balled them with my name. But the came over and upgraded my meal and handed me a gift card. It was not necessary, they insisted. The guy who took my order came up and said he apologized for the mix up but I laughed and said I came in with the name only suiting. He was way cool. I certainly did not want special treatment but as I look around the room that’s how they are with everyone. I greatly appreciate them and how they go above and beyond like it’s business as usual. I’m going give the card to someone to have them come and experience Raising Canes!

So every so often, my husband and I will go out for a drive and pick up a bite to the eat along the way. I have been to the Raising Cane’s in Vegas, but not in Reno so we decided to give it a shot. We went through the drive-thru to place the order. Now, the menu is incredibly simple and very decently priced. We each got a Caniac Combo with extra sauce and payed a little less than $ 20 for a lot of food. The line at the drive-thru was a little long, but that was to be expected. When it was finally our turn to place our order, I couldn’t believe how rude the server was. A young woman spoke on the intercom and she was extremely fast, not in a good way. I could barely get what we wanted out of my mouth before she would cut me off asking«will that be all for you?». I didn’t say anything to her about her attitude, so I just let my annoyed tone do the talking. She passed me off to another guy who was much older and more polite when I was almost finished. By this time I was annoyed and that long line seemed to be going really slow. When it finally came time for me to pay and get our things, the same older gentleman was there to assist. The interactions were smooth from here on out, but the woman on the intercom at the drive-thru still bothered me. I work in the food service industry myself and the absolute most important thing is customer service. Rushing a guest in the manner that the young woman did was very uncalled for. I will return to Raising Cane’s in the future. Hopefully between now and then they will do a better job with training their staff on how to provide good customer service.

They only serve chicken and the fixings!!! Do not go here if you do not want chicken!!! Freshly dipped chicken tenders are fried when they are ordered. Not pre fried and sitting in a warmer waiting to be bought. The wait time is a little bit more than at most places, but worth it with the freshness. They make their own«special Sauce». It has a little kick to it and it goes well with the crinkle cut fries as well. They do charge for extra sauces. The cole slaw has just a little tartness and it is crispy. Texas toast tops off the package. It is grilled and has a salty flavor to it. They eagerly substitute each item out with the packages. The ice for the sodas and fresh lemonade is the crushed style!!! Something about the smallness makes me want more and more! Get the«Caines Card» if you plan on coming back, emails come monthly with specials.

Awesome chicken fingers and food overall. The menu is certainly limited but Raising Cane’s certainly delivers on their menu options. I honestly have no idea how a place like KFC is in business now that Raising Cane’s has been expanding into different cities recently. Each time I’ve gone, I’ve had the Three-Finger Combo that comes with chicken fingers, fries, texas toast, house-made dipping sauce, and a soda for $ 6.67. Such a good value for delicious fast food.

The chicken strip’s kicked ass. Hot, tender, juicy and huge… Cole slaw was plain, Texas toast was good fries & sauce was ok. Very friendly staff, clean place. Would eat here again… I thought Chick Fil A had good strip’s, this place is better…

Eating here makes me happy. The chicken fingers are moist, toasty, and delicious. The Texas toast is buttery and textured. The fries are crinkle cut and so flavorful that I don’t even need ketchup to enjoy them. I appreciate the simple menu and that the ice for the fountain drinks is crushed rather than square cut. Most importantly, my tummy never feels gross even though I’ve just eaten moderately unhealthy fast food. The employees here are friendly and take orders quickly. That they deliver the food to the tables is a nice detail, as is their picking up finished baskets once it is clear that a diner is finished. As a UNR employee, I love how much Raising Cane’s supports the university and their sports teams. You bet it makes me happy to see«Go Pack!» on the condiment holding container and employee shirts!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a kind«hello» and again at the register. The gentleman helping us was helpful and advised us on the combos since we were sharing a meal. I’m glad we took his advice and only went with the smaller option because they have very large portions here. He was very eager to help, unlike some fast food service customers who are just ‘ho-hum’ and, more often than not, just plain unprofessional. Another employee came by and served us our food at the table and asked us if there was anything else he can get for us. Whaaa?! I thought this was a counter service restaurant so this was a nice surprise. At this point I am really impressed by the sincereness and cleanliness of the place. In fact, the same employee who had first greeted was the same who was on top of sweeping and keeping tables wiped down the whole duration of our visit. Not one table had crumbs or a greasy sheen to it. Nice. After we had been eating for a few minutes, the same guy who took our order came around the dining room to ask us how everything is, as well as each of the other tables to ask how their orders are. I have NEVER had this happen in any fast food place. They had great songs playing in Bose stereos, might I add. Random of me to notice that, haha. Also they have a disco ball! They like to get funky. Funky chicken. Ok, on to the food. Yes, as I mentioned, the portions are large. We had the six pieces combo and opted for another piece of bread instead of the coleslaw, as well as fries. The chicken, which was supposed to be the star of the show, was in fact our least favorite, hence the 4 stars.(5 stars for service and overall experience though!!). For the bf and I, we agreed there was no flavor or any noticeable seasoning on the breading. It was, however, very tender and juicy, the way chicken ought to be. I will give it that. But no flavor and it was pretty underwhelming. The fries were good and the bread was tasty and buttery, however very sinful I’m sure. I could have made a meal off of just that bread! It was a perfect combo to share and we just weren’t as hungry as we had thought we were. That or it really is just that filling. Sean had the coke(or Pepsi?) that came with the drink since I’ll have a soda very, very seldom. I did try it and agreed that it was pretty good. I know what you’re thinking, it’s soda. But it was not as carbonated as other places have it and he quite liked that. So we finished what we could of our meal and upon getting up to throw away our tray, the nice employees actually said goodbye! The same guy who took our order, in the middle of taking another person’s order, said goodbye. You tell me where they do that at any other fast food joint?! I was blown away at how welcoming they were and how immaculate they kept it there. I want them to know that they are doing an outstanding job.

It’s really quite hard to judge fast food places since I seldom use them. But we were on our way to play golf and needed a quick simple bite. It did the trick– the drive thru was easy and efficient. Surprised at how hot the food was delivered to us — love that. French fries that can burn your mouth are perfect for me. The chicken wasn’t that processed pressed stuff from McD’s, these were actually big chunks of chicken with a nice crispy crunchy coating that wasn’t too greasy. And I loved that dipping sauce, mmm. Interesting choice and flavor on the the piece of bread with the meal, enjoyed it too. Yep, in a rush I would pick Cane’s over McD or KFC.

This was my first experience with Raising Cane’s as the chain only has one location in Reno and few in the western United States. Their best and only menu option is the fried chicken fingers. The fingers are southern fried with a flour coating and are the true stars — very tender and flavorful with lots of meat. They are served with their«special sauce» and a pretty decent cole slaw. Unfortunately, their French fries were pretty basic and uninteresting. The lack of other menu options do limit your creativity, but the fingers are their specialty so it is hard to complain — especially when they are really good.

I love this place over KFC and El Pollo Lock chicken. It’s never greasy and the chicken is always juicy and delicious. The Canes sauce and the Sweet Tea are staples of any visit. And can we take a moment to appreciate the amazing ice cubes? … Thank you. Moving on. The employees are a well chose bunch of individuals. I’ve never encountered an employee having a bad day. They’re always chipper and happy to help. I’ve never seen an issue of a messy interior. Sure there’s that moment of trash when someone leaves their table, but after one fell swoop from one of the workers it’s good to go.

There is no Raising Cane’s in California yet. Fortunately they are close by in Nevada. My daughter has been raving about this place and we finally got a chance to try it out. RC’s menu is very simplistic composed of Three chicken tender combos and one chicken sandwich. A three piece tenders came with Texas toast and fries for $ 7.19. The four piece added coleslaw and the last combo was an eight piece. The chicken tenders are lightly battered and crispy but moist and juicy on the inside. Tenders well done! RC’s signature dipping sauce is a blend that looks like thousand island but taste totally different. The sauce unlike thousand island tastes terrible on fries and Texas toast, but somehow compliments the tenders perfectly. Fries are crinkle cut and nothing special, we asked for extra Texas toast instead of fries. The Texas toast is a fat finger of pillow soft bread lightly grilled and buttered on one side-yum! The coleslaw was average at best and since the tenders are good sized and filling a three piece meal is probably more than enough for the average Joe. This particular location is quite big with room for at least 50 – 75 people or so, very large for a fast food joint. The staff was young and quite friendly, something you don’t often see when it comes to fast food these days. If your craving some chicken RC’s is a good choice.
