Carl’s Jr. The Goods– For a fast food place this location takes customer service to the beyond! 110% customer service. Never have I ever had an experience like this. Every time I visit this location they will do the same, they treat you with a smile and will take care of the customers needs to the extent. The Bad– Nothing really to complain about, the only issue ive had actually was taken care of Today! Today 2÷16÷16 I went in with my wife, and son an had ordered our food. This guy, asked«Hey you have any change» ive seen him here lately, and its ridiculous to have been asked twice from the same guy in two different occasions. After approaching the cashier an asking for a manager. She had that drop everything attitude an wanted to hear my concerns. I explained, that I do not appreciate guys asking me for money in their establishment and watching him ask others dinning here for money, I just wanted to make it aware an she apologized an said, ill let my DM know if this issue. I was not thinking that it would take the DM a short time to take care of the issue. 5min and problem solved. Again 110%

The food is good and convenient most of the time. I see that the store is slow not very many customers and I am wondering if it is because they continually get orders incorrect. I order food without the sauce … no mayonnaise, no mustard, no ketchup, no special sauce, but they don’t get it right. I usually have to go back and get my order redone, this night I just gave my food away to a homeless person.

Until today I hadn’t been to Carl’s in over 5 years. As far as fast food goes the taste is pretty good, better than many of the other fast food places out there. They are a little pricy. I hate that they don’t offer anything but soda, just because I’m in a hurry does not mean that my kids should be forced to drink carbonated sugar. Their kid’s meals are endorsed by bass pro shop, which im morally against. Bad as that is if you are okay with murder for sport the fact that the toy is a fishing in a bucket toy is teaching a lack of respect for life and shows zero sportsmanship. Any good hunter should be aginst teaching their kids about canned hunting. It’s tactless. I have a huge issues with their politics that’s really the reason for the poor review. I had forgotten that they hate gay people and invest in the illegal sex trade, or I wouldn’t have even gone. I don’t want my money to go to such debauchery.

Their bathroom had trash all over and a urinal that was overflowing(not with water) all over, exposed gross drain, backed up toilet and dirty sink. Wtf?

I ordered at the drive thru for my family. I asked for the chicken sandwich with an Ortega Chili on it. She didn’t understand so I spelled it. She said they don’t have anything like that. I than remembered that it was called a Santa Fe, so I ordered a Santa Fe. When I drove up to the window I tried to tell here what an Ortega Chile was incase she actually wanted to learn something. OK, a bit sarcastic but not mean. She ignored me. When I got my order there were 4 chicken sandwiches in the bag, which is what I had ordered. When I got home I saw none of them was a Santa Fe, yet I was charged for a Santa Fe on the receipt. The lady at the drive thru was Eva. I called and spoke to the manager named Tina. I don’t think she cared much. Oh well, fast food is bad for us anyway and Carl’s is pricier then most.

So the only fast food places I eat(meaning they have a drive thru) ate are Carl’s Jr, El Pollo Loco, and Del Taco. This Carl’s used to be much better. Don’t get me wrong, they never messed up my order and my food was never burnt or under-cooked. I’m taking off many stars because no matter when I have been here, the wait for the drive thru has been too long. They also never have more than 2 people working there which I don’t understand. I would say half the time that I have been here the wait was crazy long. Even the worker would apologize on the wait but they don’t give me like a complimentary drink or anything as a courtesy. The Carl’s in Bishop, CA will do that which is great. I do have a tip on getting free food here. If you want it message me. I would rather not include it here due to being scared Carl’s will catch on to my trick!

Typical meh-to-bleh fast food but Carl’s Jr. has the best rotating low-price specials of the fast food burger chains. $ 5 for a small Big Carl combo(be careful not to order a Hot Carl by accident) seems to be ongoing, it’s been in place since the summer here at least. It hits the spot when you want a big sloppy double cheeseburger, soda and fries for cheap and don’t care too much about quality. 2 for $ 3 breakfast biscuits the highlight. They’re suprisingly thick and filling, one usually settles me by itself for a quick breakfast. Apparently they bake the biscuits on site too. I think these are an ongoing special too? This is also a decent location to sit, clean every time I’ve been and with slightly padded booths and table service it’s a little more like a diner than the usual fast food place. Not much traffic inside anytime on a weekday. Bathroom was a disaster zone the one time I tried to use it though. On the whole still way better than those two amazingly ghetto locations off Market in SF though.

It had been a good year and couple of months since I had any Carl’s Jr., as it was one of only three fast food eateries in the town I lived in before I moved to Reno, so I was definitely long overdue, and got to check out this location by Meadowood Mall earlier today. On the east coast, the chain’s regional counterpart is called Hardee’s. Back in the day, it was fondly dubbed«Hardly’s.» As in, «Hardly Edible’s.» Gotta say it’s gotten tons better over the years, east or west coast! I’d say that in comparison to some of the other fast food burger chains out there, it’s maybe almost a full step better(although nothing comes close to In N Out.) As some other reviewers have mentioned, service can be a bit on the slow side, but this is because most of the menu items, with the exception of maybe salads and fries, are cooked to order. You’ll rarely see anything sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Some things that are worth trying out for sure: Most of the chicken sandwiches and tenders, the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, the various Six Dollar Burgers(which actually aren’t six dollars, it’s just a name!), the Teriyaki Burger, and the various Turkey Burgers. The curly fries and waffle fries have a little seasoning in them, whereas the mainstream fries don’t. They’re all skin on, which is a nice touch. The malts are a step up from a mainstream milkshake elsewhere, as they are also made to order, with hand scooped ice cream. I’d pass on anything with guacamole and/or bleu cheese. You might notice that it’s a bit pricier than some of the other burger chains, but the difference in quality is worth it. TIP: Most locations have a hidden menu item that usually isn’t directly advertised on the mainstream menu board — the Big Hamburger(cheese is a bit extra.) Basic mustard, ketchup, pickle and(not chopped) onion, and it’s huge for only being $ 2 and some change or so. Not so much thicker, just a lot larger in diameter than their mainstreams, including a much larger bun.

Carls Jr. is usually great food but for some reason this Carls J just sucks the food is never hot just warm the fries are never fully cooked and for some damn reason it always seems to take them extra long to get the food ready makes no sense right??? Ive also been here more than a few times when the speaker didn’t work in the drive through and the credit card machine didn’t work. So how this place stays open I believe is only because they have a decent location and a good name to work off of otherwise I could definitely do without it.

stopped here and got a Star Combo to go, there is one thing that erks me and that is when they are so lazy that they have to microwave the lettuce along with the patty. one of many things you have to list to get the order right next time.

I’ve eaten 4 fast food burgers in the past 3 weeks — which is usually my quota for the whole year. The good news is that I ate three of these at Carl’s Jr., one of the better fast food places. I hate going to the movies hungry because I don’t want to be tempted to buy their grease-ball popcorn. It’s far too expensive, and it often gives me heartburn because even on a Friday afternoon, it isn’t necessarily fresh. Having just finished some errands, I was racing to make my movie showtime when I noticed this Carl’s Jr. and, to the terror of everyone behind me, slammed on my brakes so as not to miss the turn into the restaurant’s driveway. Mindful of my poor arteries, as I rolled toward the gratefully empty drive-thru, I decided to order a smaller burger than my fave — the Western Bacon Cheeseburger. It was my lucky day since the sign advertising their specials announced a smaller, but still substantial burger — the Ranch Bacon burger for just $ 1.29. I do love their BBQ sauce, so I asked if instead of Ranch, I could have BBQ and I told them I was pushing the envelope on my movie showtime, so I didn’t want to order anything requiring more than 2 minutes to prepare. «No trouble,» the man on the speaker assured me, and so I pulled forward. The burger even included one onion ring on top. Yum. For $ 1.39 including tax, I got a small version of the Western Bacon Cheeseburger without the cheese. I love this burger because it’s the perfect size for lunch whereas the usual Western Bacon Cheeseburger qualifies as a dinner burger for me. I had a fair distance to drive, so I ate this burger on the way. The buns are good quality, and the way the burger is wrapped, it was possible to eat and drive without spilling a drop. I got to my movie in plenty of time and walked right past the popcorn with nary a sideways glance. Carl’s Jr. is practically my hero.
