Excellent restaurant. Wife loved the black bean burger. I had a very good mixed seafood dish. I can’t remember it’s name but it was spicy and in sauce with garlic bread. Service was outstanding. Ambiance was very relaxing.

Decided to try this place out for a birthday luncheon. Ordered the lamb burger which came with fries, pasta rustica with a mini basil parmesan loaf, salmon tacos, and salmon sandwich. The food was excellent but our server sort of ignored us half of the time we dined in.

My wife and I had been wanting to go here but just hadn’t made it a priority. I had the fish and chips. The batter wasn’t thick, and it has a crispiness to it that was a great contrast to the moistness and juiciness of the fish. I have to admit, when I’m not sure what to get I think of getting a burger or fish & chips, and there weren’t any burgers on the dinner menu. The serving size was 3 cod pieces, approx 4 – 6 oz, along with a generous serving of fries. Additionally, the tartar sauce appeared to be made in house, had a great flavor. So, if you’re in the mood for fish and chips, I would highly recommend getting them here… because while the serving size isn’t as big as Great Basin’s, it tastes way better. My wife had the salmon tacos, and for the side she had the chicken tortilla soup. While the tacos had some great flavors the salmon was a bit overcooked, thus making the tacos a bit overshadowed by the soup. Similar to the fish & chips above, the serving size wasn’t large, only 2 tacos, but again, the flavors were very good. If you’re starving and want a large meal with leftovers I’d recommend other places, but if you want a satisfying meal that’s an appropriate size this place is very good.

Excellent food, nice ambiance, friendly staff, great location. All of our meals were amazing, this will now be a regular spot for us, and they do togo! Very impressed with everything about this restaurant. I’ve been to their sister store called Moxies, and their food is great also. I will tell everyone about this place, in fact one of my clients today said she was going to head there to eat tomorrow! I could eat there every day. Moderately pricey but it’s worth it. Go treat yourself, you won’t be sorry you did. Cappelli AL Pomodoro with blackend chicken was amazing, mac n cheese was so tastey. I’m hungry now!

Came here with my mom last weekend after finally introducing her to the 21st century and forcing her to get an iPhone. I was beyond the point of hangry and I’m glad we chose this spot. We shared the shrimp ceviche, fried green tomatoes, Beet salad and salmon tacos. We were stuffed by the time we walked out. Nothing but positive things to say, great food, lovely atmosphere, wasn’t busy. I’ll be back for sure.

I went here on a Friday night and was happy to get a table right away. Co workers told me about this place and after looking on Unilocal I knew I had to check it out! It was fantastic! I got the chicken piccata and it was full of flavor and three big pieces of chicken. I was stuffed after I finished. My boyfriend got the flat iron steak and it equally had amazing flavor. You could taste the marinade. For dessert we got the key lime pie and my oh my I wish we didn’t split one, I wanted it all to myself! Half way through my meal I was already saying I wanted to come back. The menu is big and I wanted to try everything.

Five stars for the mascarpone polenta, the curry ketchup for the sweet potato fries, and the mango curry brie skillet. Has an Atkins option. Meat cooked perfectly. Lots of selection. This place is dope!

The first sit-down dinner place I tried in Reno, and happily, still one of the best in town! M3 seems to be Version3 of Moxie’s of Reno — and, having tried them all, I can tell you that M3 has all my love, in-spite of it not being the closest to my house. Now, that’s not based on the service by fine folks, but the more extended and awesome menu choices available at M3. (Good news: I was chatting with one of the owners in Feb2016, and they are planning on extending the Menus at the other 2 Moxies to include some of the hits from M3! Hooray!!!) -=- Highlights: ANY of their Steak or Salmon dishes, Get the Tacos… with my deep love and thanks for their Atkins Plate(aka LowCarb/Paleo/Keto Style) === ATKINS $ 13 chicken breast or hamburger patty /choice of cheese /avocado mushrooms /choice of two sides– cottage cheese /sliced tomatoes /napa slaw /soup /salad flank steak $ 14 salmon $ 15 === M3QUESADILLA also excellent. Good soups everyday! The desserts are a little hit and miss, but that’s likely on me… I don;t have the sweet tooth I used to… so many desserts are off-the-charts sugary to me.

I’d of never thought to come here, but Unilocaler friend Paul S. gave it a good review, so I trust the guy. I was looking for a place to have a casual but not too casual client business lunch. Looking over the online menu it looked like it was a good place. Some of the reviews are right, it’s pretty dark in here, right in the middle of the day. Not a lot of light from the windows reaches the dining area. I meet my client and we get seated in a nice booth. We’re a little after the main lunch rush at 1:30, so parking and seating wasn’t a prob, but I could see how it might be especially the parking at crowded times. Each business has their own reserved spots, so don’t park in another businesses’ spot. There’s a lounge area in front with a full bar including gaming machines if you like. The menu is quite diverse, so check it out online(has prices). I could see how this place might be sort of loud if it was crowded, as sound really travels in here. Our server was right over to take drink orders. She was a bit slow returning to take the food orders, but we were talking so no biggie. We decided to start with the Margarita Flat Bread($ 10.00), sort of an oval shaped pizza. For lunches my client went with the bowl of chili($ 6.00), she said she wasn’t too hungry, and I had as Paul S. had, the Prime Rib Dip($ 14.00), served with fries and au jus. The chili came with cheese, onions, sour cream and crackers. Our flat bread arrives, wow, that looks really nice! Turns out my client is a Unilocaler too, not big time, mostly a looker, so she didn’t mind me taking some food pics! Normally, with client meetings I don’t whip out the camera and say, hold up while I take some pics… OK, just 2 more! After my pics, we dig in. This was one good pizza thingy flat bread! The crust was not dry and the basil really made the flavors contrast between the cheese and tomatoes. Get this if you come here. The food was paced well, and our lunches arrived after we finished the flat bread. The theme for food presentation here seems to be baking dishes lined with parchment paper, as was served under the flat bread. See pics. The chili was a nice amount, not lumberjack big, but good sized. My prime rib dip was presented with a nice big bowl of au jus and fries in a stainless steel bowl. Unique presentation I’ll say. I pick up my sandwich and peer into it’s innards, hmmm … I think I really could have used a bit more meat on this. I dip it into the au jus and let it soak up. The bread is pretty soft as it is, but soaks up fine. It’s not the most lady like sandwich to eat, and my not have been the best choice at a business lunch, but it’s what I got. The au juice was wonderful, not super salty like many I’ve had and a good amount. I hate places where all you get is on dinky ramekin on juice. The meat itself is good, just wish there was more of it. The fries were excellent with a good crispy outside and soft inside all piping hot. For the price($ 14), I’m not sure I’d order this dish again as it just didn’t seem like a $ 14 sandwich great. The best French Dip I ever had is about the same price, and this no where approaches that. My client does like her chili and with the flat bread, made for a filling lunch. You could tell it was made in house and not out of a big food service can. Overall, I’d say a M3 is a nice semi elegant place to come for when you want nice but not too nice and better than casual, like a Bully’s sports bar. I’ll return on my own when not on business! I just won’t get that Prime Rib Dip and get something else of the extensive menu.

Really happy with our experience here. Came for an early dinner around 4ish, had a couple drinks and a whole bunch of food, and everything was excellent! If we didn’t have to rush out for a movie, would’ve loved to try a dessert, but there’s always next time! Update: came back and tried the beef stroganoff and the key lime pie dessert. Both were amazing! I absolutely recommend them, 2for2 so far with this place, and I can’t wait to come back for 3!

I absolutely love the food and the pricing! I got the buschetta with brie which was to die for and the artichokes for an appetizer and I was completely full. My boyfriend got the burger and chili. The chili is very tomato based! The service, on the other hand, was just ok. It was completely dead and our server took a while to get to us and didn’t even ask me if I wanted to see a dessert menu(and it was 2 hours till closing)

How have I not eaten here before? Stopped in last minute with some friends and had a wonderful lunch at M3. Loved all of the browns and the atmosphere, made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Our server was fast, friendly and helpful! I loved loved the menu! As a person who watches carbs I really appreciated the low carb menu options. I went with the Atkins flank steak option that came with 2 sides. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Add the atmosphere, friendly service, great food and friends… perfect place to grab a quick lunch!

My hubby and I were in the mood for some upscale bar food so we decided to try M3 based on the reviews and pictures. Normally we don’t order drinks when we’re out, mostly because the quality doesn’t match the price, but we decided to this time. Our waitress said they didn’t have a cocktail menu, but that they could make whatever we wanted. I went with a mojito and the hubs ordered his favorite, an old fashion. Both our drinks were incredibly watered down and were disappointing. I even ordered an additional drink to give it another shot but alas, the drink still was bland. Based on the rave reviews on here and from our server, we decided to order a bruschetta skillet; we settled for the Mediterranean Skillet that had goat cheese, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, and kalamata olives. I must say this was the star of our visit, especially the goat cheese! It was creamy and the combination of cheese, tomatoes, and olives went perfectly on their crunchy bread. For dinner we decided to try a few different things: the mini tacos from the appetizer menu, the spicy mac-n-cheese, and the lamb burger. All of these items were good, but nothing over the top. The tacos were plain, but the mac-n-cheese was creamy and had a nice kick to it. The burger was also juicy and the toppings made it stand out compared to the typical dressings you normally find on top. I’m not sure I would visit M3 again for a meal. However, that bruschetta skill was pretty great and I wouldn’t mind stopping in for a snack for that!

Dinner with great friends! Love the vibe of this place. It is upscale-casual. A great place to kick back with friends, have awesome food and maybe even catch some of a game on the big tv’s. I had the Black Bean Burger. YUM!!! It is homemade and extremely tasty. The bun is a herb garden bun and it was soooo good! My side was fries and they were hot and tasty just as fries should be. Warm and friendly service, great food, easy going atmosphere, DELICIOUS menu items — I will be going back to try more items from the menu for sure!

August 29, 2015 Saturday — 4:15PM for Dinner 4 Adults Atmosphere — 5 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Background — Dinner with friends before Canfest, thus the early time. Have to go with a full belly. Atmosphere — Warm and inviting Food Drinks — Water as I will have plenty later. But they do have a really good beer list. Appetizer — Our friend indicated she had to get the tacos. Three street style tacos of them came out and got one. The tortillas were topped with more than they could hold when you fold them. Simple but excellent Dinner — They had a prime rib dip, which screamed my name. Paul you want to order me. PAUL pick me. I am glad I listened. Thin slices of prime rib, so tender, so perfect in the baguette. But what I find for most restaurants do wrong is the au jus, this is key in a dip. The flavors should enhance the beef, in this case they did. Service — The place was pretty empty when we got there so we pretty much had the waitress to ourselves. I have a feeling that did matter, you could tell she knew how to do her job. She gave us little tidbits about the food and the prep work of the food. Future — This is a little gem hidden on the south side of town, so yes I would love to come back.

My first impression upon entering was«hip». I guess that’s a good thing. Dimly lit, reclaimed wood walls, exposed brick, metal sculptures. I really liked it. Food. Salsa & guacamole: basic, but tasty. Mussels in spicy chorizo broth: delicious, fresh, and perfectly spicy. Lamb burger: not too fatty, delicious fig spread. Meat dip sandwich: perfectly-cooked meat, fresh fries, flavorful jous. Chicken enchilada soup: boring. Service– Efficient, polite, all business.

The location of M3 is a little weird and I feel like this restaurant belongs in Midtown, but I’m happy it’s not because it just might be too crowded then! We had no problem walking in and getting a table right away(although, it was a Wednesday night…) Our waitress was Charlotte — I remember her being one of our favorite waitresses from 775 Gastropub. She is really friendly and upbeat and definitely a people person. She was quick to get drink orders and food orders and was really good on checking up on us, without being overbearing. They have a nice selection(but not huge) of beers on tap, plus a rotating tap option(tonight’s was Silver Peak’s Red Roadster). Drinks came out really quickly, as did our second round later on. We chose a couple of appetizers for the table to share: the grilled artichokes with herb aioli and the calamari with a sweet chili dipping sauce. The artichokes needed a little bit more cooking time — the outer leaves were really tough, but they got much more tender as you moved to the center and the heart was really tender as well. They had a really nice smokey flavor from the grill and the aioli’s tarragon flavor really came out but without being too strong. If I could, I’d put this aioli on everything. Yum. The calamari was a different take than I’ve ever seen — you usually see it with a marinara dipping sauce. It was nice and tender and the sprinkling of cilantro was a nice touch. The menu has so many good looking options to choose from. I was really torn between at least 4 choices, but I ultimately decided on the lamb chops — served with fig butter sauce, mascarpone polenta, and grilled vegetables. The lamb could have been cooked just a little bit more, but I was still fine with it. The sauce was really delicious, the polenta was nice and creamy and well cooked, and vegetables provided a nice lightness to everything. I got a couple of bites of the flank steak with gorgonzola cream sauce — wow — definitely getting that next time! I also got a couple bites of the BBQ burger — it was really good and I loved the smokey flavor of the bacon and the jalapeño bun it was served on, but it was a little dry and needed some BBQ sauce. M3 is on my list for a return trip — I can’t wait to come back and try out more of their menu!

M3 Restaurant hasn’t been open for very long. My boyfriend and I came in on a busy Friday night. They estimated a 25 minute wait time, but were seated within 5 minutes. The place was packed on a weeknight, which is always a good sign. This restaurant has a rustic yet modern vibe with an extensive and unique menu. I would describe it as upscale New American cuisine bar and grill. It reminded me a lot of the old Gastropub 775. They have a huge wrap around bar, which kind of makes the restaurant look small. There are a handful of TV’s displaying sports programming near the bar area. The service is above average, friendly, and efficient. Our waitress and our manager came and checked on us multiple times. My boyfriend and I both ordered pasta dishes. I ordered the Mediterranean pasta, which was out of this world. It came with linguine, feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, and artichoke hearts. It had a broth like sauce, which was great to dip the complementary bread into. I would definitely recommend this dish if you are dinning for a hearty dinner. The other pasta that my bf ordered was a capellini dish with grilled chicken, which was grilled to perfection and contained lots of flavor. He had no complaints. Our waitress talked us into dessert. We ended up sharing a peanut butter and chocolate chip ball, which was spread onto graham crackers. It was a very unique dessert. Who doesn’t love peanut butter. It had a cookie-dough like consistency.

Went to lunch on a friday afternoon with my mom. We were greeted promptly with a cheery hello and welcome. They have done a very nice job on the design and remodel. Our waitress Sam(I think), quickly approached our table and took our drink orders. She was very informative about the menu and gave us the perfect amount of time to look it over. We had one small glitch with our lunch… and THIS is where they could teach others how to handle such a situation. First Sam apologized(sincerely) took the plate and immediately told the owner and the chef. The owner came over and also apologized and thanked us for bringing it to her attention, removed it from our bill, offered us any other item we would like. BRAVO! On our way out we were told thank you and hope to see you soon. We can’t wait to go back mom wants to try the mac-n-cheese!!!
