Great Clips

This is a great stop in and go barber. I say barber, because my son and husband love it. For me– meh. It is very hit and miss. I perfer the traditional salon for myself.
Pretty cut and dry hair cut place. Extra for shampoo. My tip– checkin online it is much easier. Make sure they know you are there though, once you get there or you will lose your spot.

Got a great cut today at the Great clips on Mccarran Boulevard by lady name Trisha. very nice haircut thank you. I’ll be back in the future. Plus there was sale on cuts and hair products. THANKS AGAIN!

The salon is clean and organized. The wait time is usually only a few minutes. There is a decent variety of hair products to purchase. Misty is by far the best stylist! Aside from giving great haircuts, she’s very fun and pleasant and easy to talk to.

Super fast and I love that they have a computer system that they track how I want my hair done. Personally not a fan of chains, but there are some real shining stars here.
Sara and Erica are both phenomenal. They are hilarious and friendly. Not to mention they are both exceptional at their craft.
I love the online checkin feature too. I hate making appointments for haircuts and the online checkin feature lets me get in line as I drive there. No waiting like other walking and I don’t have to remember my appointment.
Would recommend anyone to use this location. I’ve had mixed service at other Great Clips but never here. Not sure if they have a new manager or not too, but the overall atmosphere here is much calmer and fun.

I know with great clips, if you don’t come in with a name it’s like Russian roulette finding a stylist that is perfect for your hair type. I am so glad I got lucky this time and my stylist was Michelle. I’m growing a pixie out, so hair cuts are scary and not fun at all, but michelle had a pixie herself and explained why some ideas would be bad in the long term and came up with perfect alternatives. She shaved the front section of my left side and it looks AMAZING (as well as trimming the mullet). Just what I asked for! It looks playful and cute but doesn’t mess with the growing-​out too much. She greets everyone who walks in the door with a welcoming smile, very friendly, very knowledgable, very encouraging. I’ll come back again for Michelle (and the other ladies were friendly as well) ⁵⁄₅ :)

I went here because of the previous great reviews I read. Misty cut my hair and its the best haircut I’ve had in a long time! She was friendly, had a great attitude and they played good music. Go there!

I’ve come here for multiple haircuts. Depending on the stylist you get things can be hit or miss.
Sometimes the stylists are friendly and full of lively conversation other times you can tell they’re having a bad day and would like nothing better than to quit. I suppose we all have our bad days.
Anyway its not unlike any other Great Clips. Same décor and hair products for sale.

i think the gal who cut my hair was having an off morning or hungover. her communication horrible until time to pay & tip of course but her cosmetology skills were good as she gives great clip
have a feelin she doesnt like where she works as i heard the store/​salon mgr come by to nag her as she just quickly replied with a yea yea sure
cant blame her as dont we all have those moments at work. shes good at her trade and limited social interaction on an early sunday am isnt such a bad thing

Well sad today my barber was outta town so I had to come here. first off the women were good looking not that it mattered just an observation. the girl cutting my hair had to have a more experienced woman «fix» my hair and the whole cut took 10 min a big difference from a real barber cut they used no after shave didn’t do side burns or my neck and my taper was sub par go to a real barber its the same price and this place was in a hurry.

We brought my two year old son in for a haircut earlier today. He does not love getting his haircut in general and he was past nap time so he was especially cranky. He cried and fought through the whole process even while sitting on my lap and his mom trying to help.
I just wanted to say that Ashly did a great job. She kept her cool and was nothing but sweet to him no matter how loud he shrieked. If you have a little one I highly recommend taking them to Ashly.
Also sorry to all the the other patrons and employees who had to endure the crying and shrieking. Hopefully next time he will be a little calmer.

Updating my review to reflect my most recent experience with this Great Clips.
I got a coupon in the mail after my son’s haircut here, and needing a basic trim figured that $ 6.99 couldn’t be beat for that so I stopped in on a rainy Saturday. Currently, they’re remodeling and were pretty busy (the waiting area’s ~10 chairs were full) but I was still called up within 10 minutes. The remodel looks like it’s going to be nice; they’ve moved the desk and seem to be repainting/​etc.
Today, Eva was my hair dresser, and I feel super lucky to have gotten her! She took the time to look through the pictures I pulled up on my Pinterest (I’m too addicted to that site, but see, it has practical uses as well!) and to discuss with me what I was looking for. I ended up having her take off about three inches of yucky ends as it had been way too long since my last cut, and she trimmed my bangs. I ended up with exactly what I came in for, a trim with long layers and cute side swept bangs. She was also super sweet and chatty, but not in an annoying or fake way; just genuinely nice.
I will definitely be back for more regular trims and will be sure to ask for Eva next time!
Tl:dr– great for my simple trim/​style; in and out quickly despite the crowd; cheap and efficient! Yay Eva!

I have the world’s simplest haircut (all one length, all the way around, no bangs), so it seemed silly to go pay $ 40 for a haircut when what I needed was so simple (three inches off the ends). So, I walked into Great Clips. I was seen immediately by Andrea, who gave me exactly what I was looking for in about 10 minutes. Staff was friendly, haircut was great, price can’t be beat ($ 14). Definitely recommend for a quick trim.

Great experience. Went in on a Thursday afternoon and they were appropriately staffed. Friendly service from the host. Gabrielle, who was my stylist, was genuinely friendly, mature, professional and efficient. Unlike some haircuts I’ve had where the stylist focus on divulging their life dramas, the conversation struck a good balance between positive sharing of experiences and making sure I got the cut I wanted. A great value for $ 14… I’ll be back!
