My gel manicure lasted 1 day. It’s day five and 5⁄10 of my nails peeled right off. I didn’t overly expose them in water or anything. Wishing it lasted at least a week. They only did 2 coats and they seemed rushed to get it done. It would be nice if I could go back and they could re-do them.

Wonderful service. I got the best quality manicure here. She gave my cuticles the works and they’ve never looked better. Along with the best shellac French I’ve ever had. As long as the kids pedicure chairs are empty it’s a relaxing experience. I’m usually here Saturday afternoon and it’s super mellow. It’s not really a frilly spa stylemani pedi place…, however they do a REALLY good job. I bring my own tools but they clean the chairs really well in front of you.

I had stopped coming here after my last bad service experience — but it’s been over a year and I thought I’d give it another chance. I get regular pedicures every 3−4wks and always ask to cut my nails short — can’t remember ever having my nails BLEED cuz they’re too short! Then when I called her on it she argued with me saying I asked for it — I asked for short — not TOO short! Another lady took over after the fiasco and then left the nails long on the other foot so I had to direct her. Let me just say that I was the only person there at the time, so it was bad even during a quiet day! Never coming back!!!

my friend and i came here for an eyebrow wax and full set. one lady approached us, and we inquired about pricing. my friend thought the price for the eyebrow wax was a little steep, so we chatted amongst each other, and decided to get it done any way. the lady stormed off with an attitude and begins speaking Vietnamese with the other staff. i told that lady, we can decide to spend our money anywhere. as my friend and i headed for the door, another sweet lady approached us and offered to take us. she chatted with me and made me feel comfortable while doing my eyebrows, and they came out looking fabulous. meanwhile, the first lady who approached us sat with an attitude continued to speak in Vietnamese with other staff. i did not want her to touch me. but my friend decided to let her do her full set. it came out looking«blah» and i was not impressed at all(and neither was my friend). my full set, which was done by the sweeter lady came out looking beautiful.

$ 30 basic manicure/pedicure combo You never know what you are going to get. In this case, I got disappointment. Basic means basic here. No extras or anything special to make you feel like the princess or prince that you are. 2 ladies were running the shop. The one in charge, Cindy, spoke English and did my pedicure. She was very polite and sweet but kept leaving to get up when the phone rang or something came up. I saw her do this with the lady after me when she was in the middle of doing her nails. I found it very unprofessional. I don’t get color so all I needed was a good clean up and relaxing massage. The foot massage was not a real foot massage and could of been harder, longer and actually relaxing. Oiling someone up and then going in the same pattern strokes is not a real foot massage. I also requested dead skin removal on the heels. They charge 5 dollars extra for this. Cindy used oil and a stone and they felt smooth enough to not have to pay extra for the tool and oil but then later when I got in the car they felt a little rough again. What gives? I think the oil masks the true colors of the work they do — once it wears off everything goes back to how it was like a Cinderella at midnight story. Sorry nail shops but we are on to your tricks! No hot wax treatments, I asked. Overall I could of done everything myself way better provided I had the proper equipment. Sorry to say but that is the honest truth. The manicure was the worst ever. After my pedicure I had to wait for another lady to do my nails I had to INSTRUCT the lady on how to clean my nails. She kept leaving dirt under my nails and dead skin that I came in there specifically to remove. I ended up using her tools in front of her while she watched. It was downright wrong. She spoke little English so I had to relay messages across the shop from Cindy to her. Cindy kept walking in and our of the shop due to her cell phone while her customer sat and waited at her mercy. Not cool. After multiple times of leaving she resorted to talking on her cell while she did the lady’s nails. This is not sanitary or fair, especially if these are personal cell phone calls. They should have a receptionist for business ones and personal calls should wait unless it’s an emergency. Get with the program please. The massage chair I was was not fully in tact, part of it was broke. I had to switch chairs because I wanted to use the massage feature of the chairs which ended up being nothing to even really switch chairs over, ha! They use the basic bubbling foot bath that is attached to the chairs. Your feet don’t soak in there long and will get cold easy. My feet got really cold during the manicure because my socks were in the car and I was barefoot still… Cindy was nice to bring me a towel for them per request. The hand and arm massage was doable but could of been longer. The«clean up» though was unbearably bad. I also got KNICKED during cuticle cutting and BLED, NOTHING sanitary was done about this. She just kept going as if nothing happened, using the same towels and tools to sterilize and reuse on the next victim… The manicure was longer than usual since I had to verbally and physically instruct her on how to shape and clean nails. I continued to FIXMYOWN nails INTHECAR before I left the parking lot. The more I write about it, the more I think about it and the more upset I get. One last complaint. I prefer 1 person work on me, not 2. I only tipped for one as that was my original plan and what I could afford. My complaint though is that both ladies used warm towels in the end but did not dry off my legs, feet, hands or arms before putting my pant legs or arm sleeves down. This creates dampness and a chill. I had to request to get dried off. $ 30 + $ 5 tip = not worth it. I will not be back. Cindy is a sweetie but the service is far from sweet, it’s quite sour! 2 stars because: low fee, Cindy’s sweetness, tacky flower decorations all over the shop and wild pink colors, I found parking in front, walk ins welcome, male friendly, quiet inside with no chit chat about you in another language(you all know exactly what I am talking about and how annoying and rude it is…) okay and takes credit cards and debit with no charge but you must spend at least 10 bucks to use your card…

looking at the other reveiws(yeeesh…) I think it maybe safe to say that good service is around the empty times I guess. It was a saturday afternoon and my mother and I decided to get our pedi’s done. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted right away(with smiles and politeness) and it was pretty empty for a weekend. Nevertheless, our pedi’s went well! their setup was nice and clean .I was a bit unsure about what color I should get and I asked one of the girls that worked there and she suggested pink. I hate pink. but I decided to try something new. AND I LOVEIT! MYTOESARESOOFABULOUS! They are shaped SOO nicely! I think this is one of the best pedicures I’ve ever gotten. They also asked if we wanted a foot scrub for rough feet, I said yes and the man who was working on my mother’s toe’s told her that she didnt really need it. My mother and I appreciated his honesty and were glad that we were customers and not an ATM machine. All the staff were friendly, they always talk to you and engage everyone in a friendly conversation. Sothis is deffinately my new favorite place! 5 stars for good service, honest service, & friendly service :)

I came in here a few months back. Pretty much the worst pedicure I’ve ever encountered. It litterally took 15 minutes… and that includes the 35 second massage. I could still see my old nail polish on parts of my toes when I got home. Sorry but I didnt catch the name of who did my toes(probably cause it was so fast).

It’s Friday and I thought that I would sneak out for a bit and get a pedicure to start my weekend off right! My office just moved so I was in search for a new place to try. After running a couple of errands, I came across CT Nails & Spa. I got there around 11:20 so parking wasn’t an issue. The lot is small though and I could see how it could get crowded during lunch as it shares spaces with a credit union, Taco Bell and a Subway. I walked in and they took me right away. The pedicure was $ 20 plus another $ 5 to remove the dry skin(which other salons do for free). It was a VERY generic pedicure and not worth the price. Not a single thing stood out about it. When all was said and done(and I was back at my office), it even looked a little messy on some of the toes. It’ll do for now, but I wouldn’t go back there on purpose. The hunt continues …

i have been to this place more then 10 times. they use really cheap material(reason for low prices) but you have to keep going back. also the owner is very mean she only want to do some persons nails not everybody. also i found out they do not disinfect their stuff i have seen them use things over and over. really bad place to go i wouldn’t recommended. i am not going back. one more thing even if you call ahead for appt. they make you wait from 30−45mins.

I really want to like this place, but my feelings are lukewarm. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a decent eyebrow wax, it’s meticulous and fairly cheap at $ 15. I can’t vouch for any of their other waxing services as I haven’t had any here. They also offer eyelash extension, facials, pedicures, manicures and acrylic/gel sets and fills. The acrylic/gel nails I’ve had so-so experience with. Out of the 5 times I’ve had a set done I’ve been nicked by either clippers and/or nail ‘drill’ four times. A huge downside is they use the clip-and-pry method for removing acrylics/gels. Because of this I’m now missing ¼ of my pinkie nail. :/ The ladies are a lot more polite than most places I’ve been and they will recognize you if you’ve been in once before, which is why I really want to continue coming. However after today I I’ll be finding a new place for gels and stick to their eyebrow waxing.
