I was a bit skeptical about coming to this place, last time I stopped by a few yrs back coffee was not so great. Decided to give it as try this morning. To my surprise the girls were very friendly and made my coffee just the way I like it. Love that service is quick and best part it’s a drive-​thru! Will definitely come back more often!!! Even my daughter enjoyed a muffin. Delicious she said!!!

I don’t frequent this place as often as in the past. Their other location in Redwood City closed a couple of years ago and it was across the street from my house– boo.
Anyway, my go to drink from this drive through joint is their hot, low fat mocha with a straw because how else do you drink a coffee while driving or on foot? Don’t worry, the straw will not melt.

Fast and quick, nice coffee. Good costumer service, they make sure you like the drink.

I’ve been there a couple of times in the past year and I get different things and they’re just okay. The almond milk is not good here, I don’t know why but don’t get it. Great friendly workers and quick service though. It’s always just a little less quality than I expect somehow???

Been here about 5 times. Have gotten plastic in my coffee once and bad milk another time. Unfortunately I realized this when I reached work otherwise I would’ve complained in person.
People here are nice though.

I figured it was about time to write a review. I absolutely hated this place for a while. The Owner is always very rude and antisocial which I think is a terrible trait when owning a business. Lately I’ve driven by and he’s there so I drive right though. Recently a short girl with black hair helped me and she was totally cool and fun. Made my drink quickly and it tasted great. I came back and a small blonde girl was so pleasant. She was friendly and quick. Seemed like such a genuinely nice and honest person. These girls have flipped this place around for me with the great service, easy access, and low prices. I might make this a new spot. Even if the owner is there.

This is a great place to go. The people who work there are really pleasant and welcoming. I love the fast in and out — AND the coffee tastes good!

Great coffee and great service! I don’t usually write reviews, but the service here really stands out from other places on the Peninsula. The «kids» that work there are always polite and seem genuinely happy/​appreciative to have the job. Whoever does the hiring here could write a paper on «best practices for hiring part-​time servers.» Plus, the coffee is much better (read stronger) than Starbucks!

I have no clue how I have not written a review before for this place! OMG! I have been consistently coming here for 4.5 years. It is the only place I go for coffee pretty much. They know what I want before I have to speak. This is the only place I can find a white chocolate mocha that tastes as creamy and delish, this is the only place my son drinks chocolate milk from, this is the only place I can get mango Torani syrup added to my idea tea and it’s awesome!!! The staff is always so sweet. Never been to any business where the employees were so consistently awesome and enjoyable! They recently started offering sandwiches and I think salads, but also have bagels and pastries. It’s an awesome place, with awesome prices, and awesome people! And it sure beats having to get find parking, get out of my car, stand in a line with a bunch of unpleasant patrons, paying for over-​priced coffee that tastes like crap (i.e. Starbucks), and risking dealing with an incompetent employee… Does not get more convenient than Caffino, baby!!!

Mocha Fresca is like crack! It’s so good and tastes better than Fraps that Starbucks has. It’s smooth, but no over blended. Consistency is really spot on.

This place used to be pretty good back in the day. I’ve been here only a handful of times more recently and it is not at all like is used to be. I drove up last week in the afternoon and sat by the window for about 2 minutes before either of the 2 young girls working there acknowledged me. I ordered 2 of their blended espresso drinks with almond milk. I asked what was in the drink and she responded with, «milk, ice and the ‘product’». Product? I asked if it was powder, pre-​mixed, or actual coffee & she replied coffee. I sure hope so. There was no sense of urgency at all while making my drinks. I certainly wasn’t expecting them to rush, but I sat there for about 10 minutes (no one else there in line but me). At the end, our blended drinks were undrinkable. They were way too sweet. We ended up having to throw them away.

Efficient and very quick, serving up decent quality espresso at reasonable prices. Gotta like drive-​thru espresso! Although I’m seldom in the area, I surely would return when I am.

Rolled-​through on my (pedal) bike with my daughter and got a kids’ hot chocolate for us to share with a croissant. Croissant was surprisingly good and the hot chocolate was just the right temp for the little one. I like that they serve it with a straw too.
The sitting area on the sidewalk is not the most inviting but at least it’s there. It worked well for us today.

The drinks are ok. I’d give it a 3 on that. Mocked it down though as there has been few times that I have gone by in the afternoon and they had no drip coffee. It’s a coffee stop, please try to have some regular coffee on hand.

I drive by this place twice a week, and the service that I get from Andrew is great!

I had to stay late at work and needed some coffee to tide me over, FAST. This «drive thru» chain espresso shop was the closest caffeine dealer in range, so setting my standards to «low», I took my chances.
So, you Unilocalers weren’t kidding: in spite of being the coffee equivalent of a fast-​food joint, this place is solid. Respectable lattes served super fast, better and quicker than Starbucks down the street, for less $.
I’ll be swinging by more often, even when I’m not in a rush.

Good bye Starbucks. .. Hello Caffino!
I was in a rush one day and decided to get my coffee at this Caffino drive-​thru as I had no time to go to walk into a Starbucks and wait in a long line. Keep in mind, I’ve never been to a Caffino before.
I drove up and was welcomed by a nice barista with a wide smile. I asked for a medium Americano. He asked if I wanted something to eat so I asked him what was available. After naming various types of pastries, I decided to get the almond danish. I paid with my credit card and was on my way. It only took 3 minutes from pulling up, ordering and driving away. Yes, that is FAST! On top of that, the customer service was outstanding!
As I have never been to a Caffino before, I was uncertain of what to expect of my drink and pastry. I started to drink my Americano and I was amazed. The Americano was strong and hot. It wasn’t watered down (like Starbucks) and I could taste the punch of the espresso. Loving it so far! One bite of the pastry and I started to anticipate the next. .. and the next. .. and the next. It was delicious, flavorful and most importantly, fresh!
Some items to note:
1. The small size is equivalent to a medium (grande) size at Starbucks. The medium size is equivalent to the large (venti) at Starbucks.
2. Try out all their pastries. They are winners and complement their coffee drinks well.
3. Their prices are much lower than Starbucks and the quality is incomparable. Yes, better quality with a lower cost. You can’t beat that!
If you are in the Redwood City area, you definitely should stop by and experience Caffino yourself. They have great customer service, fantastic coffee and delicious pastries. .. all in 2 – 3 minutes.

Always assisted by friendly staff and get my coffee (soy mocha frap) in a jiff.
Never have to wait more than 5 minutes.
