So… not so great for takeout. 4 tacos flowered on one plate and got minimal meat, whatever fit on the surface of the plate after laying 4 tortillas down. That meant whatever was under each tortilla was meatLESS. The tortillas are a decent size, so imagine my tacos are ½ empty because that’s what iverlayed the next tortilla. Womp. I love this place, I really do, but will only eat here if I’m eating in. If I’m going to get as much meat as I would at a taco truck, I might as well go there instead. No more takeout.

So I have this thing w/questionable meat and if I ever experience it anywhere, best believe that is going to be my LAST time there — regardless of how much I like the place. I experienced this today with the Dollar Tacos they have here on Tuesdays — which is crazy because I got an order last week with a side dollar taco and it tasted amazing. Needless to day, I was pretty suspect early into my meal that I wasn’t eating chicken… and surely, I checked the meat out and it just looked different… it looked like chicken but it just didnt break or taste like chicken. So gross.

The corn tortillas In the enchiladas were Old like leftovers in the frig. Very dried out and tough On the edges. Very little sauce if any. And barely warm. Terrible. The bathroom floor slippery. Dangerously so. I had high hopes. When I mentioned my Dissatisfaction, I was Told their enchiladas were Not like normal ones, A different style. Nothing inside! True. That’s like selling A hamburger with no meat. They should tell people up front. A rip off. No attempt to make things right. I won’t be back.

Pretty mediocre. Small selection of meats and salsas. With soooooo many good Mexican restaurants in Redwood City, I will not be coming back here.

Enchiladas Michoacanas and morisqueta are on point! Place gets busy, so there might be a wait but definitely worth it.

Good authentic food from Michoacan. My only complaint would be that they should put more cheese in their enchiladas. Other than that, great food and good service. I will be coming back here again!

Burrito Sadness :( My office ordered 49 lunches from Las Juntas and they were mostly sub-par to average. My coworkers helped me write this review, their reactions are below… 2 stars, first the good: * SMALLERQUANTITYFOODWASGOOD 1 shrimp plate and 5 veggies burritos were ordered for the non-carnivores. Marv said: «The Camarones Ala Diabla was decent. The shrimp were a little over cooked, but the flavor was very good.» Kevin said: «Veggie Burrito was good. Well balanced, not too wet.» * BIGLUNCHORDERWASCHEAP! The entire order was just under $ 300, an average of just under $ 6 per item. This is the hi-tech Peninsula, so that’s great! Now the bad… — DELIVERYWASANHOURLATE Julie, who ordered the burritos sent out this email as we began to starve: «…I can’t get through the line. Trying to figure out where the order is. Sorry for the wait! :(« — LARGEQUANTITYBURRITOSWEREPOORLYMADE In general, the 43 meat burritos were made with haste, not love. «All the meat was in one place,» many said, «Too much rice,» said a few more. «The sour cream was all in one spot» — MEATSWEREDISAPPOINTING Abby forlornly looked down at her Chicken Burrito. «Filling but not flavorful, but I was starving. It wasn’t so bad that we were puking. They were more like ‘Meh’.» I’m so sorry Abby. :( Sammi and I had Al Pastor Burritos. «Al Pastor was like mushy, pulled-pork, sloppy joes,» said Sammi, «I didn’t expect the pineapple chunks. But it was pretty flavorful.» I agree with her — tasty but barely average for Al Pastor. The marinade tasted a lot like BBQ sauce in my opinion. But the greatest disappointment came from the Carne Asada Burritos. «Generic burrito,» said one, «I concur.» said another. «Bland.» «Not very meaty.» «The chips are better than the steak burrito.» «What is this, tripe?» «I will never tell stories of this burrito to my children. Very high quality aluminum foil,» said Hervy. He exaggerated of course, but no one disagreed.

Authentic Mexican food at its finest! Very great food and the ladies are so sweet. It did take a while for us to actually get to order but I understand they are busy. I got half enchiladas and half morisqueta and both were so delicious! The enchiladas are crunchy and the morisqueta sauce is delicious. I am definitely coming back and trying out more of their things.

This place is hands down the most authentic Mexican restaurant. Enchiladas michoacanas, flautas and morizqueta are really good. I haven’t tried anything else yet but I know it will be just as good ! They have a very small Menu but its done right. This place lived up to my expectations and is the closest food I’ve found in the peninsula that’s like my moms and grandmas. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s a must!

I honestly don’t understand why this place still has 4 ½ stars. Came here with my boyfriend for dinner on a Sunday night and from the start their service was terrible(and I really mean that). Took about 5 min. for the cashier to acknowledge us and take our order. My boyfriend ordered pork morisqueta, lady said THEREWASNOPORK, so he had to order cheese morisqueta with chicken flautas. When it was my turn to order, I asked for the chicken enchiladas. I wanted to get a freshly squeezed orange juice and she said that she couldn’t make one because the machine wasn’t put together. After about a ten min wait, lady informed us there was NOCHICKEN! I was so disappointed with this place, my enchiladas had a bit of cheese, lots of chopped onions and zero chicken! I feel like the ton of cabbage put on my enchiladas was better than the enchiladas themselves… DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE!

The Homemade tortillas are thee BEST!!! The price is right and so is the food. I don’t know much about there in store service because I ordered off door dash. But did I mention how good there home made tortillas were. Nothing like the store bought ones. Will have to go by there again!

Great location, great service, love that they have breakfast. With a squeeze of lime the taco’s were perfectly topped off and heavenly. This may be one of my favorite spots now. The rice is soo good too. The Mexican frappuchinos and mochas are really great here. The taco’s tasted homemade all way down to even the tortillas. The sopes are delicious, even the burritos are excellent. The burritos were soo excellent I ordered a second one just for myself to eat again. Even the water here is really good. This place is very clean and very authentic. I definitely love this place. I left knowing that its worth every star if not more.

They have a small menu only 17 items but they don’t offer everything when you walk in on a Saturday morning! Really??? I was craving some Enchiladas Michoacanas-NOPE not available-okay let me order some Flautas-NOPE NOTAVAILABLE-REALLY??? I Know it doesn’t take long to make both things!!! Okay well give me some Morisqueta… NOPEDONTHAVETHATEITHER!!! WTF-okay CHILAQUILLES-NOPE…I had to settle for tacos… They also didn’t have Micheladas or hot chocolate-the person who knows how to make them wasn’t there! Shouldn’t everyone that works there know how to do it??! I would have left this place but not familiar with the area so we stayed!!! They should state on their menu what is available during what time!!! The only thing good thing this restaurant has going for it is the handmade tortillas!

YOUWANT R E A L MEXICANFOOD? Come here and I swear you won’t be disappointed, really friendly service and the food is to die for and the tacos are delicious!!! Came here craving tacos and my craving was fulfilled. Redwood city is full of taquerias but I find a majority of them being too greasy but NOT this place. I could taste the tacos being fresh and my tacos wasn’t over stuffed with meat, they were heaven. Also, the tortilla which they served their tacos on we’re HANDMADE and not so thick and fat like other places. Take my word for it, you won’t be disappointed. We ordered two micheladas, four tacos with sour cream and a burrito which came out to $ 28, which is high but you can’t put a price on authenticity.

I’m a real Mexican that was raised by Michoacan Mexican traditional parents so I know when a Mexican dish is authentic and good. I’ve been to many Michoacan style restaurants and this one is by far the best. The food here is 100% authentic Michoacan style. The Enchiladas Michoacanas and Morisqueta with Cheese were the reason I’m writing this review!

We came here and ordered their Chavindecas — they are like quesadillas but with corn hand made tortillas. The were prefect. They have a good amount of mozzarella cheese and meat. I got two: one beef and the other chicken. Their beans and good! They are savory and definitely re-fried, so it’s not for those who are health conscious. They serve warm soft hand made tortillas which is becoming hard to find in other restaurants. I hope this place does not change their menu as they continue to grow. I can see potential.

So I waited to write this review after I’ve eaten there several times only because most authentic Mexican restaurant the food always tastes different every time I go but low and behold this time the food always tastes the same. Excellent Mexican food not for the novice eater as traditional as it gets if you like food from Michoacan. Warning the food there is spicy very spicy.

Authentic Mexican food, good portions with home made hand made tortillas. Some meals are only available on the weekends, but it’s worth the wait.

Plates well served. Good customer service. Turn around typical for made to order. For someone who is not eating meat, enchailadas and morisqueta with cubed cheese was pretty good. I will say i was not fond of the horchata, or the pricey ness as I found $ 47 for 3 was a bit high.
