Best bagels in the area! The bagels are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside — fluffy — not chewy. I’m partial to Water Bagels, but they are all fantastic. Rip one apart and smell the awesomeness. The cream cheese was nothing special. I checked in on Unilocal and they honored the 10% Discount coupon. Some places don’t honor it because they haven’t been informed, but this place was great. 4 water bagels and a 7 oz. cream cheese was $ 8.00. Not cheap, but sooo good.

This a good location for a bagel deli, but I’m not sure how or why they priced they’re menu, but prices are ridiculously high. Staff is very friendly and they have good customer service dialed in. Kinda a small eating area, but quaint. I’ll pass on another visit.

Good bagels and friendly staff. Sprouted wheat in many different varieties. Breakfast sandwiches are microwaved but i havent found a place in LA who makes them on the grill like the east coast so its the best youre gonna get. The girls who work there are so sweet and helpful!

Western City Bagel is located off PCH in Redondo Beach, in the same parking lot at Whole Foods and Rite Aid. There is an abundance of parking. My favorite part about Western City Bagel is that they have Sprouted Wheat Bagels: Plain, Sesame and Cinnamon Raisin. The Sprouted Wheat Bagels are slightly smaller than the regular bagels, but they are well worth it to me. I love the cream cheese at Western City Bagel. I had a bagel from Manhattan Beach Bread & Bagel recently, and I have to say that I prefer Western City Bagel.

Bagels here are the best we’ve found in the South Bay. Made every day, they’re often still warm. On weekends they’ll make fresh several times a day! Variety is excellent and all are delicious! Our favorites are Egg and Cinnamon Raisin. It can be hard to find a good egg bagel around here, but these are wonderful! The cinnamon raisin has the right mix of sweet raisins and cinnamon to make it just right. People are friendly and will give you freezer bags if you ask! The price for a dozen is a steal(yes, you get 13 when paying for a dozen!) Expect a line on weekends! This place is a «gem» of the South Bay!

Bought a groupon for here and I’m glad I did. Turned out to be great and I will definitely be back. Great service and bagels. Jalapeño bagel was delicious. 5 stars!

Bagels are smaller than your usual bagel, but they are good bagels. I was disappointed by the bagel sandwiches. The sausage egg and cheese toppings were bland. Tried 3 bagel sandwiches and they were all mediocre. The best part were the bagels, I would return only for bagels — not worth it to get sandwiches!

A great find in south Redondo Beach. They offer a wide variety of fresh bagels(my favorites: strawberry, chocolate chip, blueberry, jalapeño), cream cheeses, bagel breakfast sandwiches and tasty deli sandwiches. I’ve come here twice now and really like the«Tomato Mato» breakfast bagel sandwich(tomato, egg and cheese on your bagel of choice), which is perfect for a quick bite on weekend mornings. Also, the girls who work the counter understand excellent customer service, are extremely friendly and work quickly and efficiently(a huge plus since this place can get pretty busy). Western City Bagel is located in a large strip mall on PCH with tons of parking … and ranks right up there with establishments such as Noah’s Bagel on quality I might add …

I happen to work in the same shopping center as Western City Bagel and come here often for a quick breakfast. The bagels are always fresh and I’m in and out in a timely fashion ! The everything bagel is one of my favorites here especially topped with cream cheese and tomato slices !! I absolutely love this cute beach-vibe bagel shop :)

Bagels here are tiny and not great. You can buy better ones from the store. Plus, the manager wouldn’t honor my groupon that supposedly had a value of $ 17.30. I had ordered 4 breakfast sandwhiches, but I guess the groupon was for 2 sandwhiches and 2 drinks. Two breakfast sandwhiches and drinks does not add up to $ 17, so I politely asked her if she could honor the 4 sandwhiches I ordered(were already made) so I could get the full value of the meal and she said no. I mean, c’mon, really. Businesses like this should be careful when sending out Groupons because those customers tend to also be Unilocalers.

Solid bagels, good size breakfast sandwiches. The service is very friendly. I can’t comment on the coffee. Everything was fresh and made right behind the counter. The only issue I had is the toaster seemed to go a bit overboard, but other than that the bagels were chewy and delicious.

This place doesn’t know what a real bagel is. They should be boiled then baked not cooked like s cake. When it was Western Bagel they were excellent but now they are just ripping off the name with a poor product.” Try Lox of Bagels on Hawthorne Blvd to get the real McCoy Will not be going back

There are bagels… then there are Western City bagels. Assuming they kept the former East Coast bagels recipes because these are simply delicious! The everything cheese bagel will kill you, but it will be worth it. Sometimes they sit next to the jalapeño bagels and if you’re lucky some jalapeño will attach itself to the everything cheese, holy yum! Seriously the only improvement that can be made on the everything cheese would be to add jalapeños. Come early… the fresh bagels are truly the best. Every Veterans Day my guy stops here for bagels and cream cheese, the pops next door at Whole Foods for onion, capers and lox an promptly delivers them to a certain WWII veteran he knows. What a treat! Come to Western Cit bagels… you’ll be glad you did.

When it comes to bagels, everyone has a preference. Some like it savory, some like it sweet, some like it toasted, some like it hot. The blueberry bagels with strawberry cream cheese are awesome, and there are a few juicy strawberries in every couple of cream cheese bites. For a good savory bagel, there is a rather lox. No matter what flavor you get, it’ll be soft and chewy, definitely my carb of choice.

Really good Bagels. These are different, and different is better!!! I love the everything bagel from Western City. I toast mine dark and am in heaven. Take them home to make a bagel sandwich for lunch. Cute little spot to stop for breakfast. They even have freezer bags for the bagels, just ask.

Very nice staff. Decent bagels and hot coffee… Nothing special about the bagels other than the fact that it’s a bagel place so you can assume it’s fresh. Pretty good variety but the bagels are tiny compared to Noah’s etc. My husband and I went here weekly for awhile until we realized the donut place near our house does breakfast bagel sandwiches that taste about the same for a better price. Don’t get the iced mocha/French vanilla here… very sweet and it’s basically chocolate milk. The line can get very long, so go early! Get the Groupon deal! That makes it worth going back for sure. Two bagel sandwiches and two drinks for $ 8(up to $ 17.30 value). We would go back here but it’s not our first choice.
