Consistently good! I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, and it’s exactly as I remember. Lots of good Mexican food in the So. Bay & this is one of my favorites.

Deserves 0 stars. I have been coming here and enjoying it for years. Tonight, what a disappointment. I am never coming back.

This is a steady reliable Mexican restaurant. We’ve always drove or walked by, and it’s always looked large in size/space and we’ve seen it busy with customers dining outside as well as seemingly empty like a ghost town while open, so were fairly curious to the point of eventually checking it out. The food and prices were A-OK and good, nothing noteworthy to praise nor complain about. It felt reliable and a place I’d return to, ‘tho not necessarily make it a point to rant n’ rave about to the point of craving, at the same time if in the area and feeling like Mexican food, it’s a solid good choice to dine at. There’s not an abundance of Mexican restaurants in the area that’s walkable, but enough with a short drive where there’s competition and options to choose from. I’d say to a degree, you can’t really go wrong choosing Las Brisas to try out, and it would be a good enough decision if you’re in the area and have a craving as being a safe bet to have the quantity and quality of food with lots of menu items to choose from… plus, they have a spacious restaurant to dine in, and parking is easy.

Awful service. So glad we walked out before we ordered. The table next to us looked at us as we were leaving and said that they had been waiting for 50 minutes.

So so. Nothing special, dated interior, but nice flat screens to watch the Dodgers games. The food wasn’t anything special, but filling. The Cadillac Margaritas were decent.

Super close to our house so we have been several times. The food isn’t great and the service is friendly but slow. Chips and salsa are good– other than that, just meh.

This place was fine. There are so many options for Mexican food in the area, this place would not be at the top of my list. I was there recently with a large group and it was fine for that occasion. Many people served, food was decent, not outstanding, and the kids had a good time.

This was my first visit to Las Brisas. Although the service and price was satisfactory, the food and décor left something to be desired. The food is extremely simple. The décor makes me feel like I’m in Mexico and as soon as I step outside I will see rabid dogs just lying around awaiting their next victim to transfer rabies to. My partner, who had car sickness leading up to our visit to this eatery, had her sickness exacerbated by the enchilada and tamales she consumed. I had the chicken enchilada and a house salad with«authentic» thousand island dressing. I left Las Brisas with a slight feeling of despair. I wish the food was either really bad or really good; but it was neither, it was just food. This place is truly a Unilocaler’s purgatory.

This place is literally the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten in my entire life. We had nachos with canned chicken and whole canned olives on top(not sliced) and guacamole that looked like the kind you buy pre packaged at the grocery store. It was so awful. My husband got a burrito and it was slop. They have crappy selection of tequila too. I’m so bummed because I live a block but it was so gross :(

Oh wow folks! This is the worst food ever!!! The taco Salad all on one plate but the beans and rice is on the side. The meat is on top of a hard shell. How gross!!! But one this is that the drinks are grand and the gentleman singing is awesome!

The food is good, but does NOT compair to Hacienda in Playa del Rey. I just moved to the area and was excited to find a place near my new home… But the loud jazz at mexican restaurant through me off. Had to ask for salsa several times and margaritas are weak.

This was our first time here. The food was average. The male server we had was pleasant and polite. Although we had an older female that assisted him and was not as pleasant or friendly. Actually she was rude. We felt like she was semi-bothered when requested extra salsa and asked them to correct the incorrect drink order she brought us. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.

The service is absolutely wonderful here, and the drinks are pretty good too! But, the food is bland. I’ve been here on four separate occasions and each time I ordered something different. Unfortunately each time the food has been flavorless. Really disappointing because I love the atmosphere and the friendly staff.

Bet very good food here. Some Mexican places you can tell the flavors are out of the can but here everything tastes authentic. The staff are very nice and happy to accommodate anything you need. I enjoy ordering the floutas with the rice and beans. The salsa they serve tastes fresh and delicious!

I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food to begin with, so maybe I’m being a little harsh. I ordered taquitos and it only came with 2 :(don’t I usually get 3? The rice and beans that came with my taquitos were very bland, like they were afraid to use too much salt and seasoning. The guac was okay. Cactus soup was a little salty but good… portion was small though. Honestly, nothing special about this place — it’s just conveniently located near my house. I probably won’t come back here, I prefer Taco Bell anyway… but that’s just me and i’m a weirdo. #noshame #cheesygorditacrunch #datappleempanadadoe

Lots of menu items, quaint ambience, busy bar, friendly staff… and delicious margaritas, classic, on the rocks with salt of course. Terrific prices and portions are good. Can’t say it’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, but I can say it’s local, easy to find, offers some terrific choices and will settle my Mexican craving just fine. Ample parking too. Cocktail de Cameron is delish, as are the taquitos and chicken enchiladas. I’m keeping this one on my «too lazy to drive need a Mexican and margarita(or three) fix» list.

With Mexican food in the LA area, I feel like a lot of the time you have to choose between hole in the wall authentic comida and high end«fancy Mexican.» This place combines best of both worlds — it has: — a lively, authentic type of feel to it — cozy booths — great food at great prices! — the perfect level of business — enough people to make you feel like«hey, this place must be good,» but not so many to force you into waiting for a table I definitely had plate envy when my friend got the Indios Verdes, a shrimp plate with JUMBO shrimp, beans and rice. Plus it comes with a soup and salad. The cactus soup was really yummy and something totally unique! Actual pieces of cactus in there. I know this is in the $ 11-$ 30 range, but really the most expensive plate on there is like $ 12. Also, I appreciated that there was a huevos(eggs) section. I’m not vegetarian, but I know a lot of people who are, so it’s nice to know I can take them here! For what it is – inexpensive, unique and authentic Mexican food with a decent ambiance — it’s great!

This is a go to place when I want to eat Mexican food close to home. The food is good. I like that they have a lot of combination plates to choose from. My favorite is the bean and cheese burrito and the cheese enchilada. The enchilada sauce is the best I’ve had anywhere. The combos also come with a cup of soup or a salad. I usually get a salad with oil and vinegar. The lettuce is very fresh. The margaritas are awesome with just the right amount of tequila. The chips and salsa are good and they bring you two different kinds of spicy salsa. I always ask for a side of pico de gallo to add to it! The service is great and very friendly. On the weekends there is a jazz singer and he also plays guitar. It’s a nice way to have dinner. The décor is kind of run down and old but it shows that is has been around for a long time. I recommend this place if you’re in the area. tip: the parking lot is small and can get pretty crowded so I suggest to park on the street if you cant find parking in the lot.

Came here for Sunday lunch. Good food, great service, great drinks. Margaritas, like others have said, are indeed delicious. Me and my girl got one each and split another at the end. We were both feeling a little tipsy when we left. The chips and salsa were also very solid. I got a side of guacamole and that was cool, although I thought it could’ve had more kick to it, maybe some tomatoes or salt or something. I got the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Super. The beans tasted like they were made there, not out of a can. They didn’t blow my mind but they were cool. Rice had good flavor. My girl got a green chile and cheese tamale and a chile relleno. The tamale didn’t have much filling, a lot of corn masa, but the taste was good, and the chile relleno had great sauce. She enjoyed them. Overall this is a solid Mexican restaurant. The waiter we had was really cool, he gave us some good recommendations. We sat outside and the patio had a nice relaxed vibe. I’d come here again.
