What a great price for the facials I’ve had… I don’t know why it took me so long to Unilocal this to you all… Some places I’ve gone to are very expensive and I don’t always have the money to go so when I do it’s a big deal to me. I’ve got some issues with my complexion and the pumpkin peels always seem to work the best for me. When I made my apt with the Sherry at the spa. I didn’t know what I was in for… Pampered ! she offered me tea or water when I walked in, because she said she had just made some for her self.(thought full) the room was really clean and nicely put together. The day was little cold, so she offered me a blanket. NICE My facial was amazing! — Sherry explained what my skin needed and although I’d just asked for the pumpkin peel, she provided me with some extra moisturizer! and really took great care of my skin. I even got the face massage too! Hardly anyone does that anymore. The apt was so relaxing… and my faced looked amazing the next day… I’m excited about my next apt… I’ve had several facials from many different places and estitcians. all are a little different, but when you find one that knows the chemical make up of the items they are putting on your face, and they explain to you what it does, and it’s benefits that’s a BIGPLUS. there is only one other place I like to go… But this one is my FAV!!! love love loved HER! ladies if you want to feel pampered and taken care of at a nice affordable cost. This is your Ticket! You will love this place when you walk in – nice, clean, beautifully put together, a calming retreat. and she offers so many other services there too,

«Be All That You Can Be,» beautiful one, or, in French«Soyez tous que vous pouvez être» and since we are at a French sounding spa, La Beaute, that might be appropriate. Except my technician was Japanese, so that would be «» at least according to free translator app! There are some great things about this lovely little spa on an unpromising stretch of Artesia, and some needs improvement: +1 Star — Mizumi. She did my facial with microderabrasion and she was fantastic. Everything from the ruthless way she did the extractions, to the powerful neck/shoulder massage at the near end of the treatment was first class. She wielded the microderm gun(?!) with skill(I have gotten wierd burns/scrapes in the past, so this is crucial to me!) and also pampered me from start(wrapping my hair) to end(sunscreen? of course!) + 1 Star — The treatment room. A good size, very quiet, clean, peaceful. Everything very clean to my eye. + 1 Star — Parking. Easy on the street or the lot just to the side. — 1 Star — Pricing. Wowie, this place is not cheap. I was lucky in that I had a Cloops for a facial and microderm for $ 79 because those would normally run twice that. They do have a package of 3 facials for $ 295 or 6 for $ 430 or 10 for $ 675, but apparently, the micorderm is an add on — and the price is $ 75 according to the menu. Pricey! — 1 Star — Hands/Feet. At this price point, I am used to having at least my hands, if not hands and feet both given a soak in hot lotion with the heating gloves/booties. Nothing like that here. I enjoyed this place very much, and I thought Mizumi was amazing, but I can’t see coming back at that price, as much as I want to. The products and treatment were good, but the price point was more Beverly Hills than South Bay — and not even a very good part of the South Bay, in the western Redondo Area.
