Lockworks

Easy to get to, and plenty of parking. David made my keys quickly and it was, as another reviewer said, SO much easier than getting it done someplace like Home Depot. Yay for Lockworks! I will certainly use them for my security needs going forward.

Great service and very respectable, friendly people. Was able to get a key copy so quickly even when the key type was specialized.

I went in with a copy of a very obscure key — Ed took one look at it — he immediately knew which one to cut — he gave me the new key and told me to try it out and if it worked to come back and pay him for it — I did just that — it worked perfectly — I returned to Lockworks — paid Ed — and ordered an additional key — just in case!

My car door key couldn’t take it any longer, apparently, and decided to snap one morning before work as I tried to unlock my car. I thought I had a spare, but all I found was my spare ignition key. Uh oh. Luckily, I did manage to get back into my car, but my only key was still in two pieces and unusable.
On my soonest day off from work I decided to look for a local locksmith. This place was really close, so I headed over without even calling to see what could be done with my broken key. Tyler was quick to let me know it wouldn’t be a problem, and he crafted a matching key in what couldn’t have been more than a minute. We walked out to my car and tested the key and it worked perfectly. Well, if you don’t count that one screwy lock I have that’s inoperable from outside. The friendly Tyler even advised me of how I should be able to fix that without much hassle.
After he made the second key I requested, the grand total cost was just over $ 12. I feel the job was done perfectly, very quickly, and at a great price. I don’t know about the quality or price of other locksmiths around, but I don’t feel I’ll ever need to even investigate those options as long as this place is open and I still live around here.

All I can say is– these guys are SUPER friendly and have key copies made for me in 5 seconds– I will never wander Home Depot again looking for «the key guy» and waiting in line to pay, etc. Lockworks is great!
