Even Flo Heating and Air Conditioning

Fast and friendly service! They have done several jobs for us and even came out free of charge once to fix a squeaky fan on our gas fireplace.

Called Even Flo for inspection/​cleaning and tuneup of furnace during mid year 2015. Our heating went out mid –December and they came and fixed it for extra charges (around 150 $). Our heating went out again in next couple of days and Even-​Flo told us they were not available till FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY. We called another company whose technician came and cleaned the pressure pipe in front of our eye in record 4 minutes time which turned on the heat in the house. The tube was pitch black and the technician mentioned that the tube has not been cleaned for quite sometime and the amount of debris present won’t accumulate in matter of days or few months. Looks like Even Flo doesn’t bother to check the pressure tubes or clean them during the tuneup process. Googling the furnace tuneup procedure clearly states that pressure tubes need to be cleaned during the inspection. They have lost our business and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Found EvenFlo via the American Standard website. Called in early November to schedule a seasonal inspection/​cleaning/​tune up for my 3 year old furnace. Left a message and received a call back shortly thereafter. Was able to get an appointment the next day which was quicker than expected. Jared arrived about 30 minutes late but that wasn’t an inconvenience to me. He was polite, did his work in about an hour, and explained his findings. Overall, it was a good experience.

Called on Saturday midday. Man that answered phone seemed annoyed with my call for a quote but gave me one anyways. Didn’t want to elaborate on questions he asked when I asked for clarification and was pushing me to move forward or get off the phone. Won’t do business here ever. The person that answers the phone is the face of the company and this one was ugly.

Angela’s response to my review is not accurate. I was never told any of the things she stated as reasons for cancelling the appointment. She also makes it sound as if I expected the tech who came out to check the unit to also do the repairs, which I did not. As I said in my original review, the tech himself told me they didn’t have time to do the job. I thought that sounded strange, and called the office. They scheduled me for the repair, no problem. THEY KNEW IT WOULD BE A WARRANTY REPAIR FROM THE VERY START. Then a few days later they cancelled my appt with no explanation. All of the rationalizations Angela offered for cancelling ring hollow. Why couldn’t the guy who I spoke to on the phone tell me those things? Instead he just hemmed and hawed. I call BS.

After you read this, you’ll hit the call button guaranteed. As a plumbing contractor (that doesn’t do HVAC) I knew there where many choices, but the best one was Evenflo. There guys where in and out in one day, left my garage cleaner than it was when I left, and my home was wonderfully cool when I got home.

Even Flo continues to be a top notch company. Had them install an inline duct fan for townhouse HVAC and also service the heating system. On time, efficient workers, and good prices = 5 stars.

Summers in the Puget Sound region are generally mild and bareable. This summer however was not, time to call Even Flo Heating and Air Conditioning. Alan and Angela are great to work with. We found them personally to be very pleasant and their work to be of excellent quality. We appreciate their quick trun-​around a solution driven installation Most importantly we are now enjoying our home despite 80+ degree tempurtures!
