This place was awesome, but I think they are closed? Someone told me that recently there was a sign on the door saying they were ‘temporarily’ closed for renovations, but there were also bills stuck to the door from various people who they owe money to. UHOH! Anyway, it’s a small chain so you should be able to find one somewhere else. I know for a fact that the one open at Microsoft’s Commons is open, and the food is just as good at that one. So if this place does in fact close, check out the MS one. I highly recommend the beer-battered fish tacos, or the acapulco salad. The dressing is great — spicy and sweet and sour and cilantro-y. Their salsas are also delicious. Try the smoky brown tomato one, or the fresh pico de gallo.

Love this place! It’s quick, it’s cheap, and I’ve never had a bad experience here. Looks kind of sketch on the outside, but once you’re inside it’s actually quite inviting. The salsa bar is pretty good too — the cilantro is easily avoided(unless you get it with pico from the kitchen).

I’ve been eating here for years, and it is delicious — I love the $ 4 bean and cheese burrito, the chips and the salsa bar.

The fajita burrito? Can’t be beat. It’s the perfect balance and guac? Yes please! My suggestion? Unless you’re a speed eater, cut that baby in half. My only complaint? No pico de gallo on the bar. Nothing better with tortilla chips than pico!

Above average substitute for chainy, below average places that rhyme with Jimotlay and Taco in the car. Stopped by here tonight before a movie in Redmond, and it was perfect. We were running a bit late, so we needed something quick(or as those to the south may say ‘pronto’). Acapulco hit the spot. I with my fajita burrito and her with her salad… hit the spot before the movie, twas quick, and god how I love it when I can hear, over a loudspeaker no less: «Esteef, your order is ready» Can I come back everyday just to hear that… please?

I’ve eaten here since the days when there wasn’t any parking and the owners were stacked behind the counter building their empire, and I’ve always rooted for them to succeed. The food is always fresh and tasty, and I can’t remember having a bad burrito there. It isn’t standard mexican-restaurant fare, but more of a mexi-cali fresh offshoot with quality ingredients. When I’m in Redmond I always stop back in and enjoy a nachos-with-steak. Good stuff.

This place was actually pretty good. I am not sure it stacks up to a proper Mexican resteraunt, nor does it really measure up to Chipotle. But, it offers a different menu from Chipotle(whom I would consider in the same tier of Mexican cuisine). I got a chimichanga which was pretty good. The problem however lies in the middle ground they ride between full out restaurant and fast food place. It is good, but not great. But, price is pretty good, so you get what you pay for. Not a dinner place. Good lunch place

I fell in love with this place when they still had one at Crossroads. I love their Taco Al Cabron Carne Asada it is amazing. I have been known to drive from Seattle to get my fix! The owners are super nice as well.

It’s like this: The latin community works a lot in food service, ya know? French Restaurants? Mexican cooks. Italian restaurant? Peruvian cooks. European cuisine? Ecuadorian cooks. It’s just the nature of the business, and it’s part of what makes it so cool. But, when you got a Mexican eatery staffed entirely by white boys and girls? You need to get your burritos elsewhere, mate. (Plus, Farmer Brother’s tea. Need I say more?)

Beer-battered fish tacos! Salsa Bar! Awkward High School Kids! Full Bar? The(awkward) guys that work here are really nice, one time we got in right as they were closing but they still served us! Tacos are cheap, filling, and delicious. Definitely a budget-friendly favorite in Redmond, and much better than whatever is in Redmond Town Center. I have never seen the full bar set-up in use… but who knows, maybe one of these nights I’ll be so lucky.

I love this place! Been coming here for 5+ years. The small tacos are tasty and only 2 bucks. So you can get a few different kinds and try them all for cheap. The burrito grande costs more but is my all time favorite fully decked out with all the goodies and leaves you feelin content. All their meat is flavorful and delicious and so fresh tasting! When I was little I liked to eat the radishes they have at the extensive salsa bar. And I always get an extra side of guacamole, can’t get enough of it! They added a full bar within the last year but I have yet to see them hire a bartender or anyone to serve the alcohol.

This used to be my old stand by when I was in my first two years at high school. When I was a vegetarian anyways. I absolutely loved their grilled veggie quesadilla. It was perfectly grilled and full of absolutely yummy veggies grilled to perfection. Their chips are great, but I’m not at all enchanted with the salsa. But! The staff is super friendly ~ which is great and helped make the food taste that much better.

I ended up here not by choice. I count myself lucky that I survived. I really wish people had at least a minimum standard for the food they eat.

I don’t even live on the Eastside, but I will travel over to Redmond just to eat at Acapulco Fresh Mexican Grill. They have the best chicken tacos! Their chicken is grilled and seasoned perfectly. All of their ingredients are fresh. They even have a salsa bar with a variety of salsas from mild to hot. If you like guacamole, you gotta try theirs, it’s great! I usually get the tacos grande meal that comes with two tacos with a side of beans and rice. I guarantee their tacos are the best around! Check them out!

I have been there a couple of times, but after my last experience I will NEVER go back. I was just eating my chicken chimichanga, which was pretty good if I can remember. But then I saw this white thing poking out. It was rubbery and I got a little concerned! Apparently after talking to the manager, a piece of the latex glove miraculously melted off and into my food!!! I ask you, If you were cooking and noticed a piece of your glove was gone, would you send out the food anyway!!! I was seriously concerned for my health, I ended up calling poison control, can you imagine if I was allergic to latex!?! Anyway, I was very upset. p. s. their hot sauce is seriously lacking

After our meeting this morning, we went to Redmond’s town center for lunch. Our host chose Acapulco Fresh — «Do you like tacos?» — and it was nice to see part of the area that wasn’t dominated by Microsoft’s campus. I ordered the taco grande combo with pork and a bottle of Thomas Kemper orange cream soda. In fact, all of us got the combo, but with different kinds of meat — chicken, steak, etc. The combo is the right choice for lunch. The tortillas are flour. The pork wasn’t overly dry. And the black beans and rice made for a nice complement. But all in all, this isn’t that special a place. The food is fresh — Acapulco Fresh claims they use no lard, MSG, or can openers, and their slogan is «We’re fresher than that» — and tasty enough, but it’s not amazing. The orange cream soda, however, was wonderful — and inspired the following exchange: Me: I’ll have the Kemper orange cream. Rick: What’s that? Host: You haven’t had a Thomas Kemper soda? Rick: No. Host: They used to be a microbrewery when that was big. Then they decided to make soda instead. They used to make a wonderful… Checkout Boy: Now they make delicious drinks! They’re delicious drinks, indeed.
