Our favorite place in Redlands. Great beer selection, wonderful and inventive hamburgers, excellent staff(always very friendly). Great atmosphere and a lot of fun. We come here almost every time we are in town. My favorite is probably the cowboy burger.

Everything I’ve had here has been good. Loved the bone marrow burger. Super rich and fatty from the bone marrow and amazing, but it’s a bit pricey at $ 16.50. The fig burger is also tasty, love that there’s bacon that gives it the salt and the figs that give it a sweetness. I’m not(yet) a huge fan of goat cheese so I preferred the bone marrow. Fries are good. I had the soup of the day which was potato chowder. It came with actual chunks of potato and was topped with some melted cheddar and crisp bacon bits and scallions. I enjoyed it. The watermelon salad was really refreshing and tasty. I loved the balsamic glaze and light lemon vinegarette drizzled on top of the arugula and kale as well as the walnuts and cool watermelon chunks that made it a great summery plate. Service was great, I’ll definitely be back but probably before 6pm so I can catch their«hoppy» hour.

The dictionary defines the word eureka as a cry of joy or satisfaction when one finds or discovers something. If you’ve been searching for a burger that is beyond delicious, you just might find yourself shouting EUREKA! when you taste the burgers here. On this visit, I went with the Jalapeño Egg Burger which is a burger patty with fried egg cheddar cheese, bacon, pickled jalapeños and chipotle sauce. When I cut the burger in half, the egg yolk oozed onto the plate beautifully; it created a dipping sauce of sorts for my burger. Bite after bite, I knew I was consuming calories by the dozens, yet I could care less. This is seriously one of my favorite burgers INTHEWORLD!!! Yup, I said it. I didn’t really like was that you can’t customize the menu as everything is apportioned out. For example, one of my coworkers wanted a different type of cheese on her burger but the request was denied because the waiter said the restaurant only had so much cheese for each menu item. I mean, he straight out said they didn’t have much freedom to customize the menu except for things like sauces, spreads and the jalapeños. Kind of a bummer. I also didn’t like that during our visit the craft beer selection overwhelmingly consisted of IPAs. I mean, throw in a brown or a stout, maybe a saison style ale. But, that’s just me nit picking. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drink selections. They also checked on our table frequently, but not so much that you felt like you were being rushed out.

Love the Cowboy burger with all of its complex yet traditional flavors! Relaxing atmosphere with great service is a recipe for repeat visits. Medium rare turned into rare, however. Try it!

«That’s one tasty Burger.» Preface: First off let me say, to all those complaining about a $ 15 burger– go back to fast food. Gourmet burgers are not about size. Gourmet burgers are not about giving you the caloric intake of a heard of breeding water buffalo in a single sitting. Gourmet burgers are about quality not quantity. How the heck have we gotten to the point where if a burger does not weigh as much as a grown man’s butt cheek, people throw a fit about how much they pay. Seriously– $ 15 is reasonable for real good quality. The Fig burger is EPIC. Topped with fig, bacon, arugula. Seriously delicious! Beer selection is top shelf. Steamed clams– yeah that stuff is great. Just wish it came with more bread. Asking for more bread results in one slice. Asking 4 times gets 4 slices. Not sure why they can’t just charge you for a decent amount of bread for a price, because the broth is deserving of being finished entirely, and that is what bread is good for. The bread is good. Truffle fries were not the best I have ever had– not bad, but not as good as everything else. I’ve had better. Service is terrific. Go here. If you understand quality and don’t just want to get belt bustingly full– go here. If you are going for dumptruck loads for cheap– go to Am/Pm. Allegedly they have too much good stuff.

This was my first time at this place and it was pretty good. I was running a bit late and when I got there my friend already ordered the truffle fries, which I wanted to order anyways & It was good. We both decided to order a different burger and split it so we can try a bit of everything. I ordered the jalapeño burger with a side salad with a lemon vinaigrette. My friend ordered the bison burger & onion rings. We split everything and was super super full. Everything was tasty and very flavorful. I definitely want to go back try some of their beer selections next time and of course order more food.

Great burgers and fantastic beer selection. Service was great and even comped an appetizer for food coming out slow without any complaint. Know how to treat customers well. I’ll be back.

The waiter was so handsome… can I say that??? Had a Chocolate Porter and that made the experience extra sweet! Will repeat this again soon… and hope I get the same guy

A solid winner! Great for beers and burgers. Arrived at 6:00 Friday, sat in 20 minutes. Server promptly greeted us and I ordered a beer, wife an iced tea. Beer was 10% and was a nitro milk stout, amazing. We split the… Watermelon salad– amazing combination of, you guessed it, watermelon, arugula, balsalmic glaze, feta, and some type of slaw with bell peppers, carrots, cranberries and apples. Tasty! The original Eureka burger– tasty burger with Gouda cheese oozing all over. Fries came with the burger, they were a little soggy but still tasty. Not fresh. Ordered a side of extra veggies and they were tasty! Lots of variety with asparagus, bell peppers, fennel, tomatoes and others. We will definitely come back, maybe to Claremont since thats closer to our house.

The entrees are small. Food is over priced. Poor presentation. The stock photos supplied on Unilocal were nothing like what we received on our plate. Will not return.

Hands down the best burgers, truffle fries, kids Mac and beer selection! We love coming in when Pliny is in town! We have tried most of the burgers but our favorites are the Napa and Jalapeño egg. The food is always the same, which is awesome! No surprises– just flavor! We always have a great experience here and in Claremont!

My go to burger place in Redlands. I love the variety of burgers and the toppings are unique. Great happy hour from 2pm to 6pm. Perfect stop after a long day of boarding in big bear. Ambience 5⁄5: has a gastropub feel to it with cement floors and exposed metal vents. The burlap lights adds warmth and the whole place is cozy. Food: Riblets 5⁄5: fall off the bone tender. Buffalo chipotle sauce but the meat is slightly sweet. Shishito peppers 4⁄5: not too spicy and has good charbroiled flavor. Slight tangy flavor Nachos 5⁄5: loaded with toppings. Has a sauce that’s slight sweet. Mango habanero? Fig burger 5⁄5: fig, bacon, arugula. Nice balance of sweet and savory. Bone marrow burger 3.5÷5: fatty and rich but lacking flavor. Could use more bone marrow. Pork lemongrass sandwich 3⁄5: shredded pork with pickled veggies. Too much bun. Service 4⁄5: all smiles here. They came by a couple times for refills and to check how we were doing.

How many years and still haven’t reviewed this place? That changes… now! I’d like to say that I started coming here at least six-years ago, or maybe it’s easier to calculate how many cell phones I’ve had? Regardless, numerous solo trips and get togethers with family and friends have nearly always yielded a good time! Maybe it was those strong pints I drank before teaching at the nearby University of Redlands? Or was it the yummy appetizers that came and went? I know! It’s the burgers, yeah, burgers. I hate it when I get something somewhere and by the time I returned it was deleted from the menu. Booo! Case in point: hungover after new year’s eve(sound familiar?), I made an awesome food find. They had a burger with sausage! Maybe it was the hangover, or too much ganga, but my brain processed the description as a ground sausage patty. Nope, not the case. Long story short, it was a burger with a butterflied sausage on it! Holy cow(and pig)! I wispfully hope it returns some day. … Fortunately, the Cowboy(pictured below) is a fine example of burger perfection. The sesame bun, string onions and amazing bacon blend with a delicate but delicious bbq sauce. Cooked medium, I felt just right afterwards. The fries were light and not too greasy. In the past I upgraded to the massive panko crusted onion rings, and sampled friends’ sweet potato fries. You can’t go wrong with any of these. More fond memories than not, Eureka! Is a consistent hotspot and can get really busy for lunch and dinner. It is, however, less than 25% the size of the Claremont location and has less patio seating too.

Everything tastes delicious, but the prices are just so darn expensive. No matter how good a burger is, it should never cost $ 16. Bone marrow burger — The meat was nice and juicy, but the burger was superrr messy. The way the onions are put on, they fall off when you just pick up the burger or take a bite. Also, the tomato at the bottom of the burger made the bottom bun really soggy and it just ripped apart. So the meat was good, but it was just too messy to be a favorite. Bison burger — The meat tastes just like beef, but it’s not as juicy. The veges on the burger are really good and there’s nice flavors on it. This was our favorite burger that we tried. Fries — Delicious. Very well seasoned. However, they’re really small. Lots of the pieces are only a few centimeters long. Nachos — A great appetizer to share. Nice variety of textures and flavors and a decent portion! Again, the place is good, but wayyy overpriced. If you’re into $ 16 burgers, go for it.

This place is, in one word, delicious. The Tortilla burger was amazing, and the French fries were perfect and full of flavor. The atmosphere is really great as well. Plenty of room at the bar, outdoor seating, and cool down to earth vibes. The wait staff were nice and attentive. If you like a place full of local flavor, I would definitely recommend this place. All their alcohol(save the tequila) is from the US, and they have a huge beer selection. And don’t forget to try some dessert!

I finally tried the fare at Eureka! during the lunch hour, but it did not wow. My Original Eureka Burger with Cheddar Cheese was more medium than medium rare as ordered, and of the Signature Handcut Kennebec Potato Fries, some tasted good but some were dead. The burger as a whole, adorned with Iceberg Lettuce, slices of tomato and Red Onion, Thousand Island Dressing, and pickle chips inside a soft bun, was a good one though. Large Panko Crusted Onion Rings were very good, and my table-mate’s Cobb Salad contained a lot of chicken. But creamy Coleslaw with peanuts was surprisingly tasteless. Cooking was slow, because the time between ordering and receiving a burger seemed overly long. However, this could have been caused by an almost filled dining room when I dined here. Service itself was otherwise good and friendly. Unfortunately, the photos I took here are currently lost somewhere in a cloud. Pity! If and when I find them, I will post them. XXX-½ stars overall!

4 pieces of baby sized red onion, 6 tiny pieces of «tri» colored peppers, tasteless jalapeño jam, and 4 bites later I finished the burger and worked on the very stingy portion of soggy fries they served with my ant size burger. If I am paying more than $ 15 for a burger I expect it to last more than 4 bites. Don’t be fooled by my picture of the Bison Burger, I know how to zoom on a camera. The only redeeming quality of my experience was the $ 18 I spent to sample all 8 beers on tap, which I admit is a fantastic deal. Came for the burgers, but stayed for the beer.

I will be writing m this review solely in the perspective of one who prefers an alternative to the ever popular«bar» food: hefty burger with fries or onion rings(here it’s an additional +$ 1.5 to substitute for fries). So if you’re all about that burger, skip my review, haha! I already knew coming here I’d be surrounded with the plentiful burger and meat options. By no standards am I a vegetarian(btw, Eureka! is vegetarian friendly) but I do have my limits with meat eating, especially when you grew up with a man who hunts animals to cook in various ways and bbqs like every weekend is memorial day(haha love you dad!). I was so happy to see that they had a nice variety of full salads –none of that mixed greens, a tomato, and croutons crap here! [ Food ] Watermelon Salad $ 11.5 arugula /kale /lemon vinaigrette /homemade quinoa /watermelon /feta /toasted walnuts /balsamic glaze — Super yummy! I thoroughly enjoyed my salad and the lemon dressing was a perfect pair to the watermelon. Bone Marrow Burger $ 16.5 + $ 1.5(fries to onion rings sub) (Limited Availability Per Day) bone marrow porcini butter /charbroiled onion /mustard aioli /oven-roasted tomato /signature handcut fries — Only came with 3 big onion rings. J said the burger was good but kind of rich. Idk… lol, I didn’t taste it! The Original Eureka! $ 9.5 + $ 1.5(cheese) + $ 1.5(avocado) iceberg lettuce /pickles /red onion /tomato /special sauce /signature handcut fries — The other two really enjoyed this burger and said it was better than In-n-Out(lol, we explained it’s not the same thing) Chocolate Espresso Soufflé Coffee Cup Cake $ 6 dark chocolate soufflé /homemade whipped cream /vanilla bean ice cream — I was a little disappointed with this :(it was more like a brownie with ice cream than a soufflé. It was still yummy but definitely not what I had expected. [ Service ] I wish I had gotten our server’s name; he was so great! Our table was a little difficult what with two in our group not speaking the best English and being a little indecisive but our server was patient the entire time. He also made sure we were doing alright every bite of the meal. I also liked that he made small recommendations where he could. Another thing I noticed was that he was one of the only servers who kept busy with his takes the entire time even though his fellow servers were gathered near the pos. Kudos to him! All in all: 3⁄5: food 4⁄5: price 5⁄5: service 5⁄5: hoppy hour!(2 – 6 + 9-close /EVERYDAY!!)
