Hex is one of the best IPA’s around, perfection. Friendly and helpful staff at the Taphouse, outdoor seating, just a great place to hang out and have amazing beer with friends. Brent is the man, keep up the good work buddy!

Amazing time here. Not of fan of IPAs, but they got it down. BF is a beer drinker and he, too, is a fan! But besides the beer, Megan, out server also made the night. She was so sweet and very attentive to her customers. Would definitely come back, and we will for late spring. Glad we picked this spot to hang out while in the area.

This place is great! Good brew and good company. Gets to standing room only sometimes, but wait a few & you get a seat. You can also give 5 beers a try with their Flight. I like the Hoppy Mother Frogger, Lip Ripa, and the Hex. Only negative is no food, but they let you bring in your own food. A must try!

Great beer… they will even can certain types right there in front of you.
Some are bottled to go… rather spendy.

In town for business and decided to check out this place based upon reviews. When we walked in, it was fairly quiet and not very lively. This place has the atmosphere of an uppity bar in a strip mall. We sat down at a table and no one came over, so we got up and left. It should be pointed out that this place is strictly a bar, no food, so it’s pretty much for people wanting to hang out and drink a beer or two.

The best Beer in the North State and just a great place to hang out, will allow outside food, the Habit Burger is my favorite. Their Hex IPA is Amazing and fill your Growler with their Double IPA Widow maker to bring home with you. Those 10 ounce pours are just too small.

Pretty good beers, nice atmosphere. Wish it had some food options instead of brining your own grub but nice place.

Fall River Brewing is on point! Great beers and good company! The bartender was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the kinds of beer and gave great recommendations of what we should try based on what we like. He also put the football game on for us and let us watch it with the sound, haha. Granted, it was 11am and we were the only patrons in there.
The place was dog friendly and had a lot people coming in and out filling up growlers or getting cans made to take down to the river! I thought the can making machine was pretty cool. The only downfall to this place is that there’s no food. I would of like to see some kind snack food, maybe not all the way bar food. Soft pretzels with mustard or something.
But the beer is great! We got a growler of Porter to go! Yummmmmm!

This was a small place we happened upon after I expressed an interest in sampling the local brews. The place is small, but there was plenty of seating and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to try everything, but I went with a sampler and it turned out to be more than enough. The ales were good, but I was most impressed by their stouts: rich and thick with delicate chocolate and coffee undertones made for a smooth drink without the weird beer aftertaste.
Since they don’t have their own food, bring in some of your own when you go-there’s a number of little places within walking distance.

Great selection of beers from a local brewery! The Taphouse is cool, and has the sports bar feel, with flat screen tv’s, a bar, and tables. There is also outdoor seating, but in July and August it is Africa Hot outside in Redding, CA, so the indoor A/​C is much nicer. As for the beers, we are so incredibly lucky to have a few local breweries that produce high quality beer. I enjoy the sampler, and my favorite beer is the Pittville Porter, followed by the Widowmaker double IPA. If your beer tasting in Redding, you must stop at Fall River.

Definitely recommend stopping here if stopping in redding. Small local brewery with a really good selection of about 8 or 9 beers on tap. A pint is $ 4 – 6 and a growler is between $ 10 – 12. After being used to Bay Area prices these seem super reasonable for craft brew. No food fyi, but they have no problem with outside food.
My favorites were the scotch ale and the NorCal pale ale.

Like beer? Gotta kicken’ $ 10 haircut from the place next door and need to celebrate? Like beer? Like folks who let you bring in outside food? Like beer? Like friendly folks and good bar staff? Like beer?
If you answered yes to any or some of the question above… really gotta check this place out. They make beer for pretty much any taste, especially IPA fans. This place is a go-​to for us for at least once a week… sometimes more. Don’t Judge.
What other bar can you go to where they encourage you to get pizza delivered, or go buy burgers and bring them in. NOT MANY. Where else can you sit outside, enjoy a cold one AND make fun of the Starbuck’s orders hipsters make all at the same time. NOT MANY.
Beer prices are reasonable… and there’s usually a game or two on as well, if you’re into that kind of thing. Not into sports, well you can relax on the porch in a swing, and even bring your dog if you like… doesn’t need a fancy vest either.
They have a lot of seasonal beers as well during those times of year that necessitate a seasonal beer. If you’re one of those growler types… that likes beer in a big jug you can drink on your stoop and then use as a musical instrument in your local bluegrass club, then you can get that bad boy filled here… and at a discount on Tuesdays.
I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for wine, like another reviewer listed. and get mad because there isn’t any here. Well, there are places for that… you shouldn’t be at a brewery. If you like beer… this place has GOOD BEER.

Go for the beers. The beers are top notch craft beers with an emphasis toward hoppy ales and ipas. Don’t go for the erratic wifi or food options. Do feel free to bring your own food.
Chairs are uncomfortable. Bar stools are comfortable.
Bartenders are super friendly and knowledgable. Bathrooms are clean.
Social atmosphere is not such that you’re likely to meet new friends. I don’t know why. Maybe if you’re sitting at the bar you’ll meet your neighbor.
Summary: beers are excellent, bring your own food.

First time in Redding and decided to stop by here. It’s located in a strip mall and across the way from Safeway in the same parking lot.
I don’t like the atmosphere at this place. I’m here on a Friday around 1 p.m. and am the only female here aside from the bartender and this guy here with his young daughter. The rest are men having loud, obnoxious, uninteresting conversation at the bar. I sat at the bar too, which I usually like to do when coming to breweries, but it ended up being too close to the noise pollution of this conversation next to me. If this is the usual crowd, I’m definitely not impressed.
I’m happier with the actual beer. I got a sampler for $ 8 which comes with five different brews of your choice. There is a focus on IPAs here, which is cool with me since I’m a fan of IPAs. I tried the following five beers:
1. NorCal Blonde Ale
2. Pacific Crest Pale Ale
3. Widowmaker DIPA
4. Cutthroat Red IPA
5. LIP RIPA
My favorite turned out to be the Pacific Crest Pale Ale instead of one of the IPAs.

Super strange location in an old Starbucks building with a non-​functioning drive thru. The music was terrible. The décor was lovely. The beers were very good! They have a big patio. The girl working was very knowledgable. The overall vibe was… awkward.
I’d come back regardless of the vibe if I lived closer.

I have been really impressed with the breweries up here in Redding ! This is one of the nicer looKing breweries! Their beer is amazing! HEXAGENIA is the first IPA I have ever enjoyed! I bought a growler of it and I’m taking it back to sacramento to share with friends!

I stopped in here while staying overnight in Redding en route to Oregon. I was excited to find that this place was walking distance from my hotel.
I was surprised by the location (in a suburban-​looking shopping center), but it had a nice laid back ambiance. I enjoyed all the Mt. Shasta photos throughout the building. When I went it was not very crowded, which is great because it gave the bartender (the owner, I think) plenty of opportunity to talk to the few patrons there about where the business has come from and where it’s going.
I started with the Hex, which was a very good IPA. I then moved onto the Widowmaker, which floored me with how good it was. For a double IPA, it was unbelievably smooth and drinkable. It was hands down the better of the two beers.
If you’re in Redding and you need a good craft beer to console you, stop in.

Was really surprised by this place. I looked for a place with beer in redding not expecting for much to turn up and was surprised to find this location.
Clean, fairly quiet atmosphere. Great beer. Really nice/​attentive bartender. A little cold but overall quiet a gem.
We drove through redding all the time and we will definitely be back.
