Holiday Inn Express & Suites Reading

Front desk lady was amazing and we loved all her tips and advice on food! The rate was affordable and safe area. Parking lot entrance in tricky but I will stay there again if needed.

My family has stayed here previously, so when needing a last minute room the other day, this was where we turned our attention to.
The hotel is conveniently located off the main road and right next to the small Reading airport. There is plenty of parking.
The hotel is very clean and well kept. It looks as though the staff takes pride in keeping it spotless. The room is basic, but nice. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. The water pressure and heat of the water was great in the shower, as well as the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, etc.
The staff were so friendly here. That is the main reason that my dad chooses to stay here time and time again. They are truly just nice people, who are willing to help out with your needs.
Definitely recommend this hotel!

I have had many hotel stays and it is always great to walk in and have friendly service. That is how it was here. Very nice staff and quick to get me what I needed. Room are nice. Just big enough for my family and I. Comfortable stay with no noises or interruptions during the night. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone in the area!

Decent airport hotel. Desk staff was helpful hooked us up with toothpaste and shaving cream. Continental breakfast was consistent with usual HIE fare.

I was not happy with this place from the moment of check in. I clearly informed the lady at the desk when checked in that I wanted to pay for my room in cash and she «accidentally» put a hold my credit card anyways.
After I complained to Holiday Inn customer service about it, they informed me they put a «rush» status on this issue to get it resolved ASAP. I was told the manager of this Holiday Inn would contact me in a few days… over a week later I have yet to be contacted by them. So much for customer service…
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor would I stay here again.

I have almost 140 hotel nights since June of last year. All of them were in Holiday Inn properties. I guess you can call me a road warrior!
I really appreciate the consistency of the HI Express brand. This property was no exception.
* I received an upgrade as I am a Priority Club member.
* The front desk staff was super friendly and efficient.
* My room was spotless.
* I could easily set the room temperature to meet my needs.
* The bed was comfortable.
* I experienced no noise issues.
* The breakfast was the usual serve-​yourself stuff and served to get my day started.
* You need to drive about 6 – 8 minutes to get to a decent selection of restaurants and bars.
This property is outside of the city and adjacent to the airport. If you don’t need to be downtown it gets the job done very nicely!

It’s supposed to be a 3 star but it’s more like a 2. Room was kinda clean. Shower was lukewarm. I called down to the office to see if something was wrong with it but that’s the way they all are apparently. Breakfast was the usual microwaved omelets, sausage, make your own pancakes, yogurt. I say the usual because if you have ever stayed at a hotel in the last few years, it’s the same things and microwaved food at every hotel it seems. It was okayish though. I paid too much for this place $ 120. The next night in town I moved to the Best Western and I was way happier and spent less. I might stay at the Holiday Inn if I’m ever forced to Reading again only if the Zombies are attacking me since it’s right next to the airport.

My wife and I really liked this hotel, especially the breakfast bar. I was just expecting a continental breakfast, but instead there were eggs, cinnamon rolls, and, of course, the amazing pancake machine. The staff was very friendly, too.

Came here for business trip. Small town, rooms are okay. The bed was just okay. The bathroom is pretty standard. The service is really good though. The counter clerk was super friendly.
The gym here is small but enough to keep you going on your work out routine.
Outdoor parking– free.
