i will just get to the point– I tried this place before and on the second round ended up with the same result-Very skimpy on the toppings for a $ 9 pizza. I am very disappointed. I posted a picture. Notice two slices without a pepperoni on it?

Pizza was burnt ., but other than that pretty good. Service was TERRIBLE! Rude, careless and the manager Kyle, is an ass. We waited 30 min for our dessert pizza, they forgot 3x about it. And they weren’t that busy. It was major burnt on the bottom, very disappointed after all the waiting . Not coming back to this location.

I LOVE pizza and I was really excited to try Pieology Pizzeria while in California! What’s not to love about making your own Pizza exactly how you like? You get to choose your own type of crust and unlimited toppings all for a great price! I ordered white crust with the herb spread, red sauce and mozzarella; topped with spinach, mushrooms, pepperoni, ham, bacon and even some jalapeño peppers! And I must say it was delicious! My brother ordered a simple pizza; white crust with the herb spread, red sauce and mozzarella; topped with ham and pepperoni! He loved it so much he went back the next day:) Inside the restaurant was rather cold so we opted to sitting outside and it was a good choice since the weather was wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating to our needs especially considering this was our first time here and we weren’t quite sure how things worked; everyone was really patient with us. Another plus I checked-in on Unilocal and received 1 free Cinnamon Strip which was a pie crust with cinnamon, sugar and icing drizzled on top! We were both pretty excited about the dessert which was really yummy! I’ll definitely be going back when I visit California again! Thanks for the great experience!

Positives: I like coming to this pieology because the customer service is amazing. Every time I come in I am greeted at the door and I am always asked if I am happy with the pizza. The pizza is good and would overall rate the ingredient quality a 5⁄5. Negatives: Someone’s the place is too full, I can’t even get a seat. Price: $ 8.45 for an unlimited topping pizza(11 inches)

Horrible customer service and attitude problems from the staff. Now originally I usually go to the other location in Walnut, which has amazing customer service and quality staff who actually care about your experience. And on occasion, the store in Chino which also has great service. With this in mind you would figure all the other locations would have the same service. Wrong… When I went here with my girlfriend we had not only an employee who made our pizza with attitude, but a burnt pizza. On top of that, when I went to pay for the pizza with my credit card. The employee left one glove on with what still had sauce all over it, and purposely used that hand to swipe my card and hand if back to me, leaving me with a dirty card. Please do your self a favor and go to another location.

I just left this place… I was so excited to try Pieology, my friends are always raving about it. I was with a friend in Rancho and we were ready for dinner so we decided to try this out. When ordering I noticed that the older white woman adding meat to pizza was getting upset that I asked for chicken and extra meatballs on my pizza. I seriously asked for only two meats and she got that kind of high voice when you’re irritated but know you can’t say anything. Anyways, after when my friend ordered her meats for her pizza she did the same thing. Bad customer service experience #1. Then after we got our pizzas I went up to get some ranch dressing for us. There was no one at the counter so I waited for a minute, then I looked over to see if I could make eye contact with a worker. I still hadn’t said anything and then the guy who I guess was the manager, named Kyle looked at me and started doing a task. So I waited for him to finish and come help me and he started doing something else! Then, I could see the same lady from before gossiping and laughing through the window to the kitchen and she looked at me and did nothing. Then another female employee walked up to the register started tapping it looked at me and went and stood by the wall, seriously. That’s at least 3 employees who Have seen me standing there waiting and didn’t help me. My Friend even stood up from eating her food to ask for some help and still nothing. When I finally got my ranch with no apology for the wait from Kyle, after he just shoved the ranch at me, my pizza was cold. Two guys waiting for their pizzas behind me saw the whole thing and agreed it was bad customer service I do give a star to Peter because he was nice to me and looked like he was working hard. But honestly I was not at all impressed by their customer service. And from reading the other Unilocal reviews here bad service seems to be a habitual thing. I’ll be sticking to Blaze fast fired where at least they are nice to me.

My hubby loads his pizza high with heavy on all the ingredients and loves every mouthful. I like a simpler pizza with thin crust and whole wheat. We both get what we want here and love every bite.

This chain was one of the first of its kind but since it’s debut there are a lot of other pizza places that you can try that offer different options. Pieology offers the basic pizza: red or white sauce, typical toppings, and typical specialty pizzas like the marg or bbq chicken. The wait is a little long but that is to be expected. The actual pizza tastes fine. The crust has some herbs and spices which taste fine but it’s really messy, like sand. It gets all over the place. I got the bbq chicken pizza with pineapple and bacon. Pieology has pre designed pizzas if you don’t like making decisions but they are not pre prepped and I think that’s something they could do to save some wait time. I also tried their churro pizza. It’s big and messier than a regular pizza and it tastes ok. If you don’t eat it hot it gets a little tough with the dough. I’d make this dessert a little smaller and try a cookie instead. It’s loud and echo-ey in this particular store especially with kids. There’s enough parking unless it’s a weekend night because the sushi place and red Robin take up a lot of the spaces. The place was clean enough and the workers were busy and as nice as they could be being elbow deep in pepperoni and sausage. Also, it’s cold in here. The vents are blowing by the doors and the soda fountain so avoid these places if you’re eating in and don’t like the cold. Sit here in the summer when it starts to heat up!

This place is pathetic. They meat up my order last time and they said they would comp me my whole meal the next time I came. I came in today and they didn’t comp my meal because the manager didn’t put my name in the log. I drove 20min to this location expecting a meal but they didn’t do it for me because the manger that was working the first time I came in didn’t put my name on the log. This is the last time I’ll come to this location.

First time at this specific Pieology and it was a horrible experience. I have been to Pieology countless times but this location is extremely unorganized and lacks proper customer service. First of all, we decided to eat at this Pieology bc they were offering free cinnamon strips for a check-in which was nice. After buying a pizza and using the check-in deal we got our order of the pizza in a regular amount of time. However, we were still waiting on the cinnamon strips. 15 – 20 mins passed by and we still didn’t receive it. I went up to a worker and she said that the cinnamon strips were next and pointed at the«slicing» table with pizzas that were lined up after coming out of the oven. Mine was next so I sat back down. Then, the worker passing out the pizzas passed out the pizzas of the people who ordered wayyyy after us. And I looked at the«slicing» table and my cinnamon strips were waiting there at the edge. After another few minutes, a different worker passed us our strips but by then it was hard, cold and not even sliced! Wtf. I took it back, told the worker who was passing out the pizzas, asked to make a new one and she just LAUGHED(didn’t say she was sorry) and then told the other workers to make me a new one. I sat back down wondering if I was being rude which was why she laughed. After another 10min, I decided to stand by the counter for the fear that she would skip passing ours again. 5 – 10 more min passed and the workers did not even ask me if I needed anything as I waited. 2 other customers came up and told the worker who passed out the pizzas to cut their pizzas since they forgot to cut it. Again that worker laughed at them and just told another worker to cut it as she was heading out from work. As I waited I noticed that my cinnamon strips weren’t even coming out of the oven. I asked and they didn’t even STARTMAKINGIT. When I did finally get it almost an hour later it was extremely soft and not even good. SUPERDISAPPOINTED and surprised at how unorganized, inconsiderate and careless the workers are at this specific location. Never coming to this location again. I’ve never been to a pizza place where the workers FORGETTOCUTYOURPIZZAINSLICES. lol wtf. They need training real bad. The only reason why I am giving a star is because at least the pizza got to us.

There’s nothing that I love more than pizza. I’m from Jersey where we know what good pizza is and I have to say that Pieology has always hit the spot for me. They aren’t the fat Dollar slice that I’m used to but their personal pan«create your own» style pizza comes clutch. My girlfriend and I always say it seems just like chipotle except it’s pizza and just like chipotle, it’s constantly good, affordable and the ingredients you just feel are nice and safe to eat. At least we hope. Hahaha it’s an establishment that I must say has boomed atop my list of favorite fast casual restaurants and if you’re looking for a quick bite, this is the place to go. I love the quotes, the service and the prices. Since its«create your own» I’d rather not make any suggestions on what to get because well, you choose. I must say that the Alfredo sauce is a good start, but that’s all I’m gonna say! ;) As for why only 4 instead of 5, that’s only because the last time I went, my crust was kinda burnt. Could’ve sent it back but I was just too too hungry.

I have been here about 2 – 3 times and I’ve never been disappointed. I always custom make my own pizza. I love that they are not stingy about how much food they put on. I always have leftovers and it’s super delicious. They are very quick at making you pizza and usually after you pay you wait 10 – 15 minutes for your food. If you haven’t been to this joint I highly suggest it. Cheap, fast, and good food!

Had a really yummy pizza tonight. Ordered the wheat crust worth herb spread, red sauce and mozzarella, topped with spinach, mushrooms, olives, basil, tomato, Canadian bacon and a few pepperonis. It was delicious! Checked in on Unilocal and got a free cinnamon strip which is another pizza crust filled with icing, sugar and cinnamon. Was pretty good, but slightly chewy. Could have been a little crisper. A little girl about 5 years old became my new best friend while we were dining. She twirled her dress for me, asked me what my number was for and was showing me how she can swing her self on the tables. I shared our cinnamon strip with her and she really liked it. So, then she asked me what I was drinking and I told her lemon and water. So, her Mom got her some and she didn’t like it all that well. I guess she thought it would be just as yummy as the sweet treat. It is nice when complete strangers can sit close and trust you with their children. Had a nice time. Service was great, servers friendly and I might even pick up a donation for Karaōke for a Cure, Team Stillwell Relay for Life, yeah!

4 stars due the size of the building is kind of small and this place gets so many people it can get over packed. I love the service and employees are all generous and with smiles. Pizza is amazing here. Love the fact you can create your own pizza anyway you like even down to the crust type.

Love Pieology, but this visit sucked. None of the crew on the line smiled when taking orders. I wish I would have taken a photo of one customers daughter placing her order. The girl looked so irritated a kid was ordering. There was also a few empty ingredient bins, not a huge deal, but there was no indication they were going to refill.(At least while I was in line). When we paid for our food the cashier asked if we would donate to the United fund for the SB shooting victims, we did. That’s awesome this location is fund raising for those families. Still no smile though and very monotone. When I got my pizza I noticed the garlic I requested was clumped on two slices. Pizza was good overall, but just a blah-meh visit. Don’t know what was up this trip, but the staff sucked and need a reminder pep-talk on basic customer service. As I was leaving I noticed someone being interviewed, hopefully he brings the smiles!

Wow! Line was moving fast… and on a Friday Night. Great job to Jeremiah the GM as he was out on the floor alongside his team helping out! That’s teamwork, a manager leading by example. Now wonder why this location is faster then the one at the colonies! Refreshing to see! We will be back. Also noticed a fundraiser for a local officer who was killed by drunk driver. Great GM Great team Involved in the community… great to see. We will be back

Busy place but the line moves quickly! Came in with my family of vegetarians and vegans as I saw they carried daiya vegan cheese. They kept the daiya cheese in the back(refrigerated I think?) so we held up the line a bit while waiting and I felt guilty(although obviously not our fault). Service was friendly. After moving down the line one of the staff(accidentally) grabbed a handful of chicken and it did not appear that he would change gloves before touching our pizza. I didn’t want the whole thing to go to waste so quickly and, granted, a little loudly stopped him. Felt a bit awk but I don’t think we should have. Would expect them to be a bit more respectful and know better; or at least be apologetic. Pizzas came out okay. Nothing too great but still good. ZPizza and Pizza studios have both been better. Will come back only if I am in the area.

I come here quite a bit. Not as much as I would like to, but, I get to come here and there. The pizza is pretty good. I do have a few complaints, but, they’re not too big of a deal for me. What I like: –Pretty cheap! I can put whatever I want on the pizza all for under $ 8. –They have good cheese, sauce, and topping choices. –It comes out fresh from a fire burning oven. –The staff works as fast as they can. I have never seen one on idle. What I dislike: –The lunch crowd is bad. It can take forever to get your order placed when a lot of people are there. –Often times, the bottom of my pie has a burnt crust. This is not caused by overcooking the pie though. The bottom of the oven gets the remnants from previously cooked pies and stays left behind burning through the day. This gunk gets stuck on the bottom of my pizza, making it taste burnt. Kinda gross! Suggestion to Unilocalers: –Don’t go during lunch time. Go at an off time, like 3pm or 11am. Suggestion to Pieology: –Clean the inside of the stove more frequently.

Was able to step into the lab and CREATE! It’s basically a chipotle BUT with pizza. You start of with some sauces then move on to the cheese, then the veggies, then the meat. And then you wait for it to cook in the oven and BAM ultimate goodness at your fingertips and tastebuds! It’s price point at $ 8 for a pizza is a great thing. You can also create your own salad at the same price so you can have yourself a good meal to last for a few days if you pick up both in one trip. The staff is pretty cool. They work with you and joke with you as well keeping the environment easy going with all the chaos of orders everywhere. Oh yea they have gluten free options for the crusts and cheeses if you’re into those types of things. If I were to leave you with some great advice while building your pizza… It would definitely be to get the herb butter on your crust. That stuff is really really good, and while you’re at it use the check in offer for your dessert.
