Unilocal’s 365 Review Challenge 2014 #344 — #365 Hollister is the sister store to Abercrombie and Fitch with the same beach theme. There symbol is the seagull as the Abercrombie is the moose. The clothes here are as pricey as Abercrombie and their staff could use some lessons in customer service. I went in just to browse around to see what I would possibly by and the staff would just walk around me and no acknowledge me. If you look like one of them with a slim to muscular body than they will help you. The inside of the store is very dim and they spray their Hollister cologne all around the store just like Abercrombie. I do like the concept of the store it’s just the service needs a major overhaul. The funny thing is they are trained to provide excellent service. Employee morale must be lacking.

Prefer the one in Santa Anita but this one is my second choice. The male employees were very helpful(helped me find a couple pairs of jeans, some blouses/shirts, and got me a dressing room) as for the girls they walked around like they were better than everyone and spoke like it as well, there were two girls(employees) who were in the back of the store pretending to work while giggling and gossiping, they also were not helping any customers when asked a question and would not move from the clothes they were standing in front and beside of when a polite teenage customer had asked them too. Very disappointed to observe that. Nevertheless I love this company and the prices are reasonable when sales are going on, the jeans were $ 25!

The employees are rude no greeter. I didn’t feel welcomed instead I felt very intimidated. Note to self do not come in here ever again.

There was no welcome greeter today. Personally, I prefer to not be bombarded with a fake greeting. So, my shopping experience was off to a great start. The music isn’t as loud as before. Their prices are slightly cheaper now, but their sizes require more variety. Every employee I passed asked if I needed assistance. Way to go, Hollister! Great improvement.

I personally can’t stand going into this store, but since I am the Mom who has the debit card, I try to get in and out as fast as I can. It’s too loud and too dark! The worst part? The staff acts as though they are gracing us with their presence and doing US a favor! Go across the street to Abercrombie and Fitch where the staff is far more personable. Just sayin”!

First of all, not much of a Hollister Fan. But my exchange student is. So I took to to get lots of clothes to take home with her. I helped her find sizes, I helped her in the by running back for more sizes. While the employees were helping eachother on the cash register. Or just standing around. I asked one guy if he could find me something and take it to the dressing room, he replied, He wasn’t allowed to leave the room he was in. REALLY??? What about the customer? I should have gotten a commission for that sale. If it were up to me we would have left and went to American Eagle…
