CLOSED. Under new ownership with a new cook, the new restaurant is called«Pinto Thai Lunchbox». Sad to see you go, Thai Time. Your food was excellent.

Tried ThaiTime last night! Enjoyed it immensely! Portion sizes were a great surprise… more than enough food for daughter & I. The dumplings in the WonTon soup were so good… meaty & savory. The Yellow chicken curry was smooth, creamy & packed a little punch. Also had chicken PadSeeYu, it was so good… Our new go-to for Thai!

This place is delicious! I try to call and pick some up as I’m leaving a friends house… I never give them enough time and end up waiting with a squirming toddler… But it’s worth the wait! The fried tofu and sauce and pahd Thai is yummmmmmy!

Mmmmm sooo good! My boyfriend and I love coming here! We’ve never been disappointed, as the quality and service is always consistent. Their spring rolls are HUGE and the best I’ve ever had. The peanut dipping sauce is heaven in a ramekin. We always go for the Pad Thai, but occasionally we try something new, and it’s never disappointing. The family that works there is always so sweet, gracious and centered with calm, relaxing energy. This place is wonderful.

I ordered a 5 spicy. I normally order a 7 when at other Thai places, but I backed down to a 5 when my little brother looked at me like I was crazy. I think the server accidentally put a 1 in front of the 5 because Holy Hell it was spicy. Overall the food was good. The service was great. And the little restaurant is really charming. I probably would have enjoyed the food more if I weren’t reaching for ice water every bite. I will definitely go back. But next time, I am asking for a 2 and I can add my own extra spice if needed.

We came here last night for the first time. Great impression walking in the door. Cozy atmosphere and decorated nicely. The waitstaff was super friendly and very timely bringing our food, which was outstanding. It tasted very fresh and was prepared with quality ingredients. Very happy with our experience and we will definitely be back!

I don’t write reviews very often, but when I do… I can tell a good place if their Feng Shui on point… ie. fresh pink flowers floating on water in the southwest corner. The wait staff is super friendly and provided effortless service and delivered the most surprisingly tasty Thai food within a 100 mile radius I’m sure. They didn’t have my favorite catfish chili because«Americans don’t know how to eat it because of all the bones» lol but they had a salmon curry dish that was comparable. We had pad thai, tom kha, and fresh spring rolls as well. I would prefer the mango sticky rice be made with Mexican mangoes however, but it was out of season, so I can’t really blame them. I would drive to the middle of nowhere again just to eat here! What a desert gem!

Very nice atmosphere. This place has decorated with fresh flowers with all tables. First time visit with my husband. The food is amazing. We ordered Shrimp spring roll as an appetizer. I ordered Ho Mok(sizzling platter) with spice #2 with a purple brown rice from the recommendation. It is really good. My husband get the no.61 Ocean Seafood the heat #5. It’s a little spicy but it’s perfect. service is excellent with this small little town. unsweetened ice tea is a must. It’s not a regular ice tea. The flavor is fantastic in this summer! We will be back.

This is a great Thai place to eat. We are so fortunate to have such a excellent place here in Ramona. My husband is a Thai food lover, he has tried probably had everything on the menu, and it is all good. I think the seafood soup is best ever. We use to go all the way to Convoe and balboa area to get good Thai and now we have the best, right here. They are always busy so wanted to let you know there is more parking in the back. Also the people who serve you are sweet as pie.

ahh Thai Time. I look forward to their soups, noodles and iced coffee. They were shut down by the Health Dept for unclean practices. But they cleaned up, got an A, and so Im back. Cant resist their soup when its cold out.

Two weeks ago we Read a Sign on the door of the Restraunt posted by the Health Department Restraunt was CLOSED due to a Vermin infestation. I posted a Review that day and just today 3 weeks later it was removed.

I’ve eaten at Thai Restaurants all over the country and Thai Time has been the tastiest and most delicious of them all! The quality and aesthetically pleasing dishes are amazing. The service is great too! Very helpful and courteous. We recommend the Pineapple Curry, Pad Thai and Crab Rangoon(Cheesy Crab). I’ll be recommending this restaurant to everyone!

*** JANUARY2016 — Thai Time Ramona is now PINTOTHAI. I haven’t eaten here yet, but based on the newest review I am reluctant to, until I see more feedback. ChuckAlek used to offer some apps from Thai Time but when we visited yesterday, there were no menus for Pinto Thai *** I’ve only been here once — it was a very good experience. We had a vegetable dish that was excellent. The Pad Thai was good, but not outstanding. Service was good, prices were competitive, and the environment was almost what I would call enchanting. Nice lighting, music, etc. I am on the verge of giving 5 stars, but will wait until I have another visit to bestow the outstanding rating!

I love me some good Thai food. It’s really hard to make bad Thai but there is quite a bit of mediocre Thai out there, too. Not here! This place — and the owner — is great. I’ve eaten here a few times both eat in and take out and always good. My friend always complains that they don’t get the spice right but when she ordered spicy Thai at another restaurant she had the same problem so I think we see a pattern here :-) Fresh and hot, spiced to perfection. I usually order a 6 or 7 and they hit it perfectly. I would love to get it spicier but that requires a Thai iced tea and I don’t drink milk. :-( You can’t go wrong here. Enjoy!

Thai Time Ramona was able to accomodate 15 of us for a mid week lunch, which we thoroughly enjoyed. This restaurant could hold its own even in Thai town, Hollywood. The restaurant is cozy, but beautifully decorated and nice enough for a date night or casual enough for kids. The service from two sweet Thai ladies was warm and attentive. Above all, the food was incredible. Here are the stand outs: The pad thai, the basil chicken(spicy!), the orange chicken(large chunks of white meat), the pineapple fried rice, the chicken fried rice, the panang curry, and the chicken sate. Yes, I just listed everything we tried, because it was all that good. All the food was freshly prepared, with quality ingredients, and nicely presented. No clumped reheated noodles, and no overly sweet sauces. My wife loved Thai Time. My kids loved it. And even my mother in law loved it. Too bad aboot that one. Can’t win em all. Just kidding.

Impeccable meal from start to finish. My mom and I ordered the satay chicken, pineapple fried rice, and a Thai iced tea boba to share. I absolutely love the PEANUT sauce that comes with the satay chicken, which was tender and juicy. The smell itself was enough to make me drool. Pineapple fried rice comes in a pineapple filled with giant whole pieces of shrimp, which was cooked to perfection. Our bill came out to be approximately $ 26. Portions were big enough to share. Excellent service, attentive and sweet. Mind you, I hardly ever use the word«sweet» when it comes to describing service… I would definitely come back if I were in this area. Enjoy the food pics ;)

I had an incredible time here today for lunch with my husband and my daughter. The men and women who work there are so SO nice and very cooperative. They were very talkative and outgoing towards our daughter(who is 3) and she really appreciated that! While my husband was on deployment he visited Thailand and was excited to try this place to see if it is/close to authentic Thai food… and according to him it was near identical! Very delicious, very comfortable atmosphere, and very welcoming employees. Fast and friendly service is what we got and more. Also, there was an older gentleman there, who was also there for his first time who was so funny and talkative. Before he left he bought us dessert for being kind to him. I LOVE meeting people like that it fills my heart with joy! Such a great experience today :) we will be returning!
