We were starving after waiting at the DMV forever so we decided to stop at Snoopy’s to grab lunch afterward. We found out that Tuesdays are 50% off. I’d have been really bothered if I’d paid full price for what we got. There was nothing special or good about Snoopy’s except that even though it was about 12:30 in the afternoon they got our food out rather quickly. I was expecting there to be a wait during lunch on 50% off day. The hot dog was luke warm and didn’t taste like anything and the chili was pretty bland. It filled the empty void in my stomach but I make better dogs at home. If all you really do is hot dogs you should do them well… Snoopy’s missed the mark. We won’t be stopping in again.

A staple of the Raleigh area, with signature red hot dogs, Snoopys is a great little restaurant with quick service and food. On Tuesdays 1 dollar hot dogs are the special and are very popular. This can lead to some long wait times at this location as the building isn’t very big. There can be a bit of a traffic jam at the front door of people trying to line up and get out of the way. Otherwise the food is great and makes for a perfect lunch

Went for my first time this Tuesday and got 2 hot dogs with fries and they were excellent! Go on a Tuesday because the dogs are half priced! I will be coming back for more! If you’re craving Hot Dogs, go to Snoopy’s!

So, this place is staple of Raleigh, I know. Still, I had yet to eat at this location because, well, they only sell hot dogs(and burgers). So, I was there on a Tuesday night(half price dogs) and it was slammed. And while it does attract a certain clientele that I can only assume frequent the place on a weekly basis, I gave it a shot and was more than underwhelmed. Rather than offering recommendations for hot dog styles and types, they simply listed toppings. Fine, I can determine my own preference, but when you only offer onions, relish, sauerkraut, and chili, I can’t get too imaginative. Oh, and jalapenos. I got three«types» and, honestly, didn’t finish any of them. There are plenty of better places to get dogs. Side note: The Snoopy owner’s politics are just as terrible as the dogs.

I no longer live in Raleigh, but every time I visit I HAVE to stop by. This was the first time I was utterly disappointed. I usually go to the wake forest rd location, but tried spring forest since it was on my way out of town. The best thing I had was the tea. I ordered two hot dog combos with fries with chili, relish, and jalapenos. Saying the hotdogs were luke warm would be a compliment. The hotdogs tasted like the were made hours ago, the chili wasn’t even warm, there were no jalapenos, and the fries were stale as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours as well. I would have asked for my money back if I hadn’t of already left. Overall a waste of money and will never return

I have been enjoying going to Snoopy’s for years prior to moving to Raleigh. Every time I’d come to visit, I would always stop there for their scrumptious chili dogs, cheeseburgers and shakes. Snoopy’s will always be one of my favorite quick snack spots!

This place is off the hook! Everyone can find something to suit their tastes here, and for a reasonable price, too. I mean, it doesn’t offer anything at that magical price point of ‘$Free.99′, but their specials really do get close enough to make it worth your while! LOL!

I tried the regular hot dog with mustard, chili and onions, which their standard way of serving them. I also tried a beef hot dog with mustard and kraut. Plus an order of fries. The regular dog does offer much in the flavor or texture departments. The chili is mild and the hot dog is the cheap variety I try to avoid at the grocery store. The bun is nicely steamed and overall I give it 2 stars. The beef hot dog had some snap and chew to it, which I liked a lot more. These are not half price on Tuesdays, only the regular dogs. The kraut and mustard hit the spot, and I would give their beef dog 4 stars. Their fries are crinkle cut frozen variety, but they are crisp on the outside and fluffy potato on the inside, nicely salted, and were quite good. Apparently their chicken salad is popular, so I might try that next time. Service was quick and friendly, and the long line moves very fast.

OMG, the so called hamburger doesn’t resemble beef at all nor does it taste like it. The chili they add to your burger is far from what chili taste and look like. I gave them 1 star because they have good onion rings. Don’t waste your money or time!

Insanely addictive hot dogs and really good fries. Always enjoy a quick lunch here. And the Tuesday special makes it even better.

We went about 3:30−4pm today and the beef dogs we had were rubbery and a little chewy. The fixings were fine, as usual. But I’ve been here before when the hot dogs were much better. If I go back, it will be during a busier time of day when the food is fresher. I also tried the chicken salad for the first time. It was too heavy on the pickle relish for me, but if you like that, then it was fine.

Tried both the all beef and the Snoopy’s regular. No WOW factor, Wait time was extremely long at 11:30am on a Monday and no one in line. Chili was so-so. I can see going if i was having a Dog attack and I was close by and I know they are a Raleigh institution but there are better Hot Dogs to be had in Raleigh.

So today i found myself on spring forest rd and i thought hey it’s Tuesday and you know what that means…99cent Hotdogs at Snoopy’s. so i pull into the parking lot trying to spot the inside line as I’m driving so I’ll know what I’m dealing with once i go in to order. to my surprise the line wasn’t that bad so i wait my turn and order some dogs with the works. the place was packed by the time i turned around to wait for my order, so i guess i got there right before the rush hour hit. but in a nutshell Snoopy’s is as the sign says a «Raleigh original» and hopefully it will be here for years to come. i love this place for two reasons great food, great service and the price is definitely right too. i guess that’s really three reasons… hmmm…but anyway get out and get sum Snoopy’s, you can thank me later. lol

I had to pick my oldest daughter up the other night and need to get us some dinner. I didn’t want to do the typical fast food run. That’s when I remembered Snoppys was just around the corner. My earliest memorys of Snoppys is the place that was open when I was stumbling back from the bars. Maybe it is a hidden memory taste, but Snoppys still has some of the best dogs in town. I got two hot dogs and my daughter got a cheeseburger. She also got a root beer float. We ate outside on their patio on the last good night of the fall. Nothing beats daddy daughter time shared with a good hot dog. The food was perfect and the atmosphere was grand. If their is magic in a cased meat on a bun, Snoppys certainly captures it.

You can’t call yourself a hot dog lover if you live in Raleigh and haven’t eaten at Snoopy’s. With a number of locations around town there’s no excuse for not being able to get to one and try these tasty dogs. It’s definitely arguable whether they are the best in town, but regardless of one’s opinion they’re sure to make your taste buds happy. Their cheeseburgers are also pretty excellent. Pair one of those off with some seasoned fries and you’ve got some food heaven happening. I was a little disappointed that the 99 cent hot dog Tuesday special is now $ 1.25, but it’s still worth it. Get ready for a bit of a wait at lunch on Tuesdays. I’m partial to this location due to the inside seating, amount of parking, and close proximity to Goodberry’s. Two of my favorites in one place is very dangerous!

I have been going to Snoopy’s since I was in school at NC State. Not much has changed. I know they have added new menu items and I can say that I have not tried any of them. I love their hot dogs and that is all I order. I only get 1 hot dog these days with mustard, chili, and relish with season fries and a sprite(like the crushed ice). For good hot dogs give Snoopy’s a try.

I always have the hot dogs at Snoopy’s. The are the plump red dogs. This chili is average. They do have other items, like burgers and chicken. My wife has had the BBQ sandwich there. She said it was good, but I was not impressed. If you go, go for the dogs. This Snoopy’s has a nice seating area outside with 6 or so metal tables with umbrella, and they also have an inside seating area, which is unusual for other Snoopy locations. I think this maybe the only one with an inside seating. It is separated from the area where you get your food. It is right next door. Also, if you become a regular sign up for the email newsletter and you will get some good coupons. Also Tuesday is 99 cent hot dog day.

Do not expect to be satisfied for the price you pay. I came here on a Thursday afternoon around 2PM; the restaurant was not busy. I came in, ordered a beef frank, a cheese burger, and a small drink. Total was about $ 8. Okay no problem. 5 minutes later I get the food. I sit outside, open the bag and inside was mediocre hot dog, and a cheese burger that was of mcdonalds quality. The food wasn’t all that great and was not worth the 8 dollars that I spent. Not coming here again. That is all I can say about this place.
