On a North Carolina scale, very good pizza. One of this NY pizza snobs«go to» places. Best«NY White» down here, and the sicilian is not bad(only comes with pepperoni). One of my top 3 places as I continue to try and survive without real pizza in the south.

Disclaimer: Although I’ve been to NYC a few times, I’ve never eaten the pizza(Yikes). So, I wouldn’t be able to tell you if this was truly comparable to pizza from NY. However, it was delicious pizza. I ordered the 2 specialty pizza slices(buffalo chicken and stuffed pizza) and a soda for $ 6.99, which I thought was a good deal. The pizza slices were huge! I really could’ve ordered just one. I ended up bringing leftovers home. The buffalo chicken was definitely my favorite– saucy w/just enough heat and plenty of chicken. I appreciated that the stuffed pizza was not super thick and overwhelming. My husband got two pepperoni slices(boring, I know lol). He thought they were just okay, but that my buffalo chicken pizza was worth rating them 4 stars. The service was fairly good. Nothing to complain about there, and the restaurant was clean. Bonus points for having real plates– I have a thing for fast causal restaurant with real plates. Haha. All in all, I was glad to find a tasty pizza joint in my neighborhood that wasn’t a chain restaurant. I’m looking forward to trying different speciality offerings and maybe some pasta next time.

Possibly the best pizza place I’ve been to in a long time. I’m stationed in Ft Bragg, NC so my pickings of pizza places aren’t too extravagant, but today blew my mind. I got mozzarella sticks and a pepperoni pizza which were both beyond delicious. Great friendly service and wonderful food

I’m from Jersey and this pizza is the closest thing in the whole area that comes even close to the amazing pizza we have up there.

If I could give this place a negative 5 review I would. Screw this place. My wife ordered food and we wanted to add some garlic knots onto the order when I got there. They proceeded to take care of ten other customers while I was waiting next to the register and it took 30 extra minutes to get garlic knots that are pre made! I am from New York and this place does not even come close to offering the service a New York pizzeria offers. Do yourself a favor and mail order some real New York pizza and have it shipped. This place is horrendous.

The best New York style pizza I’ve had in the triangle at a good price – the lunch special was only 6.00 for two slices and a drink. Unfortunately, there is no delivery or I’d have it much more often.

I ordered a ranch bacon slice and it was fantastic, full of flavor! Not overcooked or dry like many I’ve received from other local pizza spots. The range of options was pretty good, I would have liked to see a loaded veggie option. :)

This place has THEBESTNY style pizza in the Triangle. I am a harsh critic of my pizza, but not only is the price good here, but the pizzas are always fresh with plenty of toppings.

Got a pie here and some other stuff. Only thing that was really good was the Sicilian pizza. I mean, the food was average /acceptable for a pizza joint but nothing to get excited about or compare to a NY style. It’s a good spot to drop by for a grab and go lunch or dinner if you want to sample a nice variety of pizza by the slice.

Was not a big fan of the ranch pizza(the crust was soaked and the ranch flavor was extremely overpowering) but I did really enjoy the meat lovers slice I got. For the two slices and a drink it ended up being about $ 7 which really isn’t bad either. The restaurant itself is surprisingly big, with plenty of booths and even some outdoor seating(which I took advantage of). Everything was clean(the tables wiped down and no trash bins overflowing or anything) and orderly as well… Finally service was good, my food was brought out to me and I was asked on my way out how everything was. If i’m in the area again i’d definitely stop back in. While it’s nothing fancy it made for a good and quick lunch.

Great pizza we came in maybe 15 min before closing so they would not make anything but pizza slices, which is understandable I guess. The guy who took our order acting as if he hated to see customers coming. Doubt I would come here again unless I was really craving the pizza. customer service is very important matter if you are just opening or about to close.

Pizza is ok. Don’t ever order a sandwich there! My sandwich was wet, literally wet with oil & vinegar.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The Sicilian, bacon and chicken, white pie and pepperoni! Can’t go wrong coming here.

0 Stars is much more accurate. They charged me $ 18.95 for a large half buffalo chicken half plain pizza. The cost of a large ALL buffalo chicken pizza is $ 18.95. When I asked why I was being charged for a whole pizza with buffalo and not just half, they said«that’s just how we do it». The manager even heard and didn’t say a word. What a joke. The pizza is good obviously(I’ve eaten here many times) but when your cheating your customers for their money, that’s just wrong. Principles and morals are seriously lacking. Go to Randy’s for pizza. They are just as good and they DONTCHEAT their customers!

Good pizza. Originally from NY, I am picky about pizza places that claim from«NY». This was as close as I have had outside NY. Better than any place than I have had outside of NY, but not exactly NY. If youre in the area and need some NY pizza, this is close.

If you are jonesing for a good slice of pizza be sure to check this place out. I wouldn’t necessarily sit and eat in the establishment, but the take our option is ideal. Not only are the pizzas enormous, the wings are seasoned perfectly with a hint of black pepper spice. Slice of New York Pizza is open until 11PM so be sure to get their promptly before closing or order ahead!

The pizza is mediocre. It definitely wouldn’t transport you to New York City, but works if you are looking for a quick slice on your way to other things. Service was quick enough, but then all they were doing was throwing a pre-made slice in the oven.
