Not a bad burger, but nothing overly special. Reminds me of In-and-Out in terms of a burger. So for fast food, it’s OK but if you want a restaurant style burger, thus place will be a bit of a let down.

Definitely a fan of having organic«fast food» burgers. Now they have added chicken as well. The prices are a bit higher than that of McDonalds or wendys, but the quality of the food is much better as well. It’s lower priced than places like burgerfi. As far as the options, it’s a single menu. How many patties do you want? What ingredients? Ok done. Same topping options with the fries. The problem and reason for 3 stars? Well sometimes the burger is a 2 star and sometimes it is a 4 star. It seems like they go through a lot of new employees so the food isnt consistent.

My two stars is mostly ranking the burger, not the place itself. After reading both positive and negative reviews, I decided to give this place a chance. Now, I’ll only go back when I don’t want to make a trip to a 5 Guys and even then, the«golden arches» sounds more appealing right now. Great location, not overly expensive. Walked in a Friday night around 5:30 and the place was almost dead, only two other parties. Staff was friendly, burger came out fast. If you only eat organic meat and you’re in the area, this is the place to go. Maybe healthier but doesn’t have the same taste as original. My reason for not going back? The food itself, not the restaurant.

As someone who only eats meat when I know it’s humanely raised, Elevation Burger is a welcome addition to my life. It’s nice to be able to get a quick burger and still stick to my beliefs. I try to stick with the«half the guilt burger #2,» which features a delicious vegan patty and a beef patty. The spices in the vegan patty elevate the beef patty beyond what it would be on its own, because the beef patties are frequently a little over-done for my taste. The over-cooked beef is especially frustrating since they grind them fresh daily and use grass-fed beef. You should never overcook grass-fed beef! I’ve tried asking for the burgers medium rare and have been told, «that’s how we make them». I’ve tried not to laugh too much when they say that. The best food they have has to be the fries though. They’re cooked in olive oil, which gives them a wonderful unique flavor. To sum up, there’s definitely great food to be had here, but it may require some out-of-the-box ordering(asking for the patties to be on the rare side or getting the half-the-guilt #2).

Burger was fine and if you appreciate organic, all-natural burgers, probably worth the visit. However, with a paltry serving of fries and so many choices in burger joints, will be spending my money somewhere else next time.

I ordered a veggie burger with fries and it was just ok. The fries were a little soggy. I will say that the customer service was wonderful! I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon, but I LOVE excellent customer service.

You can guarantee that if you’re sitting in a restaurant thinking about all the other possible places you could have picked to eat you’ve made the wrong choice. For months I’ve been seeing this place as I pulled into Brier Creek and imagining the burgers. Would this be the answer to a healthier, free-range Five Guys? No. After walking in, I instantly tripped on a buckled floor with no marking for safety. So, of course I looked around to see if anyone saw me trip. My mistake. There was no one else there to see it. Lucky me! Of course, when I approached the counter to order there was also no one there save for one woman who kept finding everything else to do aside from greeting a paying customer. I had half a mind to walk out and spend money elsewhere. But, she eventually took my order and I went to get my drink and sit down. The iced tea was disappointing. It tasted stale and powdery. In the land of brewed iced tea this was incredibly disappointing. But while I was getting my drink I saw where the other employees were: all on break. They were sitting around and conversing and no one got up to work on my order. The guy that ran the grill station eventually got up and tied an apron on, but was back out of the kitchen too quickly to grill a burger in any natural way. So, when my burger finally came it was lackluster and tough. The fries were the only redeeming part of my experience and I’ve had better fries at drive-thrus. All-in-all, skip it.

A little surprised that there are some low reviews for this place as my 10 or so experiences here have all been good regarding the food and service. Favorite burger spot in town? No, but a solid burger experience. I typically go with the lettuce wrap rather than the bun to cut out some carbs and it compliments the burger well. Much better lettuce wrap here than at Five Guys in my opinion. You’ll need some extra napkins if you go with the lettuce wrap option.

Elevation Burger is essentially a Five Guys with organic, grass-fed, free-range beef. I went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and the place was about half full. I got an Elevation Burger – their standard burger which contains two patties — and topped it with swiss cheese, jalapeños, hot pepper relish, and elevation sauce. The burger was pretty standard, nothing really mind blowing. The service was a little slow, I’m not sure if they were training people in or everyone was new, but it seemed like my order took forever given the 5 people in the back cooking up the food and a relatively simple menu. The tray I got my food on was also recently washed but not dried so I had little puddles of water all over it… not exactly a plus. The pricing was fair for what you got: A burger runs about $ 6 dollars, maybe more if you get certain toppings. Fries are about $ 3, and an added drink is $ 2. So if you’re looking for a full meal you’re going to spend over $ 10. I didn’t see any ‘combos’ available to get all of the above at a reduced price. Overall if you’re in the mood for a burger, Elevation Burger will do the job, just don’t expect an experience that’s ‘elevated’.

Food is consistently good and staff is consistently friendly. They have a good selection(two types of veggies burgers) and oranges or salad instead of fries. The speed of service, however, is significantly lacking. Even when not busy, it takes a very long time to get food. This is consistent. It actually seems worse when they are not busy. The kitchen is open and it seems there is always some confusion about who is supposed to be doing what. I think 20 minutes is not acceptable time to wait for a burger. Even for a really good burger, which these are. If you don’t mind the wait, the food is very good.

The food at Elevation is really good, but the service can definitely be spotty. Elevation Burger is in Brier Creek, and I first discovered it when we were looking for a quick and easy lunch, shortly after they opened. It was fantastic! Easy to order and the food was brought to us quickly. They make a delicious burger and fries. The next time we went was before a movie. We didn’t have much time, so we wanted to stop for something quick. The service this time was terrible. The person working the counter was rude and it took forever to get our food. We had to scarf it down so we could make our movie on time. I will try Elevation Burger again because their food is great and I’m hoping my last visit was just on an off night.

Good food and friendly service but the experience can be a little hit or miss. The first time I visited the place was top notch and the owner came by and asked how our meal was. The second time, when ordering we saw the the kitchen was a figurative and literal mess and after we got our drinks we realized the entire restaurant had yet to get their food and everyone in the restaurant was pissed about it. Overall our meal was still great both times, just be prepared and patient during the chaos of peak dinner hours.

I have to admit I didn’t have super high expectations when I came here as everything about it seemed like yet another burger place. I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy and tasty my burger was! I got the option to wrap it in lettuce instead of buns and the added succulence from the lettuce complimented the burger very well. The disappointment was the cheese fries: a piece of what looked like Kraft cheese singles(I know it was something much healthier and organic although it just didn’t look that appetizing) melted over the fries.

Freshly ground, 100% organic, grass fed, free range burgers! What more could you ask for? Great toppings, milkshakes with real, fresh ingredients and amazing staff. This may be my new favorite burger joint. The best news is, it’s a good as it sounds, and the pricing is super reasonable! Two thumbs up and 5 stars!

The burger itself was pretty good. I appreciate that it’s grass fed and hormone-free, but I have to admit there are much better burgers to be had in Raleigh. The fries are very tasty. They only fill the milkshakes about ¾ of the way full, which makes it look like they’re cheating you a bit when they should really probably just get smaller cups and drop the price(I suspect the canister they pour the mix from is just smaller than their soda cups). The restaurant would be hovering in the 3.5 range, with me perhaps bumping them to a nice round 4, if it were not for the service. Unfortunately, an order of fries was either sent to another table or forgotten entirely, and after pointing this out to staff it still took a very long time to get them. They responded with sending over double fries, and while the gesture was appreciated it didn’t make up for the fact that everyone was done with their burger already. More attention to detail would be helpful. I’ll perhaps try Elevation Burger again in the future, since I head to Brier Creek from time to time. I have to admit, though, it’s going to be a hard sell for me with Red Robin just around the corner.

I went back to Elevation, and I’m changing my rating. First, full disclosure. I was contacted by the owner who was very concerned about my poor experience. He offered to by me and a friend lunch in exchange for coming back in, giving it another try, and talking to him about my past and current experience. I asked him if he wanted me to write an update, and he said no. He was not interested in an update but in fully working on the issues I had outlined in my review. I believe him, but I couldn’t let the 2-star review sit there like that. As I see it, one of the purposes of Unilocal is to improve our overall experiences, and that is exactly what happened here. The owner is very committed to addressing things that go wrong. Case in point: The lack of blue cheese dressing on my burger. He explained to me that few people order the blue cheese dressing. So when I complained about not having any, he noticed that the way they went about putting it on he burgers was not very systematic. Some people got a lot, and some people got very little. But knowing what my experience was like brought it to his attention to make sure it was done in a more consistent manner(and that more was added). We also discussed the buns, which I know a lot of people on here are not big fans of. Since Elevation is a chain, there are certain expectations of how it will look, what gets used, etc… and the buns are something that are not in his immediate control. So how was my second meal? Much, much better. I explained to him that in my first meal, my burger had come out squished and sad looking, but this time around it did not. Again, that is something that can be worked on in house and is being addressed. My food was noticeably warmer this time. I hadn’t considered it to be cold before, but I could tell it was much fresher with the second go around — a point I also made. At the end of the day, I am thankful for this experience. In Elevation, I found an owner who is very responsive, listens, and wants to make sure the food is as good as can be. I believe that through this process we were able to make a few things about the overall experience better. SO…if you have a less than positive experience, ask to speak with the owner. He will listen and he will work to make the changes that are within his control. I’m bumping this up to 5-star because I cannot think of any suggestions for making this second experience any better… Ok…one, but it is minor… different dipping sauces for the fries would be awesome.

I’ve visited Elevation Burger at least 3 more times since they had the Unilocal Event before they opened and sadly, each experience is worse than the last. Their burgers are kinda pricey, but seeing as they’re serving organic, grass-fed beef, I can see the reason. But adding $ 1 for aged cheddar? That’s a bit much. I’d still pay it though, if my burgers came out the same each time. Sometimes it’s overcooked, sometimes there’s a lot of gristle, sometimes it’s undercooked… I’m never sure what I’ll get. Same with the fries. Now… I LOVE shoe-string fries, they’re my absolute favorite because they’re all around crunchy, plus they fry their fries in olive oil, so it makes me think I’m not being as bad. But sometimes they come out crunchy, sometimes they’re super soggy. It’s disappointing. The only saving grace is that their milkshakes are always consistent. I’ve settled on my coffee-cheesecake-oreo shake and it is absolutely delicious each and every time. It’s probably the only thing that keeps me coming back at this point… I figure, since I’m there for the milkshake, I might as well give their burger and fries another chance. I’m not sure how long this will keep up though. I’m pretty sad about it all because Elevation Burger has such potential.
