I am so glad there is a Sergio’s near me! My favorite by far is the Philly cheese steak pizza. I’ve tried to get something else but it’s too good not to get. Their garlic knots are amazing too. Closest to NY style near me in Wakefield and helpful that they deliver. I’ve never had any issues with delivery. Also, the few times I’ve gone in to the place they are extremely helpful and pleasant.

Stopped in for a slice for dinner and they have some pretty good NY Style Pizza here. The meat lovers is piled super high with toppings, they dont skimp here at all. Great deal for a quick bite to eat and they also have a lunch special which i think is two slices and a drink for 5 bucks. Will definitely be back.

Very good pizza… sometimes! Tired both the pepperoni on several occasions and the chicken parm pizza. Both are very good but inconsistent that goes for the customer services as well, it is without a doubt hit or miss. Sometimes the phone just rings off the hook and then I usually worry my order will not be as order or they will forget something that as requested. All that being said… when they are on point? The pizza is pretty amazing with the crust being the best part!

Absolutely delicious pizza! best in the area. I have a New Yorker in my family who is super picky about pizza and he loves it. We have them deliver to our store for lunch at least twice a week. The delivery drivers are always super friendly. For lunch they do a great special for two slices and a drink for around $ 6.00.

I have to agree with the most recent Reviews. The Ownership has either changed or the Owner has no clue that the quality is slipping or the Owner has let the unchallenged success go to his/her head. I think this area has literally no competition(sorry, Papa Johns does not count). Aside from being an ex NYer, I travel for work and get to sample Pizza everywhere. As another Reviewer said, «we have to like it». We have Sergios at least 7 – 10 times a month. I can remember driving to the business multiple times before they opened in anticipation. It was considered good pizza for NC. In NY, they would be average to below. The problem is the Staff has turned over. It is run by rude Kids that have more interest in their friends and Cell Phones. The Pizza Maker Guy of years past is gone. I am not sure if the Owner has instructed the cutbacks, but obviously many of my neighbors, friends and Unilocalers noticed, so it must be true. Now you get smaller pies that are very red and lack an adequate cheese sauce ratio. Also this mix stops long before the crust. You get a lot of chewy dough. This is not a value for $ 16 pizzas! God forbid you get the Specials… I think they purposely code it and you get an «on sale» pizza that is lower ingredient amounts. The garlic knots are tough and if you folks out there love these, you obviously never had good ones to compare. I know this Review will not put them out of business and that is part of the problem. They do not care and honestly don’t need to. Over the years we have put up with the non-stop nonsense of waiting inline for Pickup(should be a separate line for efficiency!), lost orders when you arrive, wrong pizzas discovered at home, missing items, overcooked and most of the time undercooked(especially during busy times). I know I am spiting myself and will have to add time and hassle to my pickups elsewhere, but I will look and drive further. I literally can walk to Sergios in under 5 minutes, but as a consumer I must make a stand. I wish Cannizzaros in downtown Wake Forest was nearby! The best in the area, but the biggest driving/parking hassle by far. I hope they decide to read these Reviews and take their built success seriously and not their customers for granted. We made you successful and that can change. It would be awesome if another NY style Pizza business had the guts to move into the dead Kroger shopping center. If they were half decent Sergios would lose the majority of their customer base the first day. It really pained me to write this because we all«need» them to be good local NY Pizza. You know I’m right and threats only lead to Pizza Hut /PapaJohns again. We have no leverage, but maybe Sergios has some Pride.

Used to live in NYC /but we’ve been west coasters for the last 13 years. We were excited to be closer to NY when we moved to the Raleigh area last week but had no idea we’d be within delivery range of real NY pizza. Amazing. Just what we’d been missing. You will not be disappointed.

Just like back home in Jersey. Grandma’s pizza, chicken parm pie — the best. Need a third one in the north part of Wake Forest. ;) ;)

Incredible… finally a true NY experience… born in Staten Island and growing up in S Florida(the NY Southside)…none better around Raleigh. My favorite… their meatballs are just as good as my aunt’s and grandma’s. In fact, my manager is on his way to pickup an order for a Friday pizza lunch for our office. he almost ordered from Papa Johns but I snagged him before he made that mistake.

I love Sergio’s. I need to love Sergio’s. This was the pizza shop that I fell in love with when I moved to Raleigh. But for some reason the quality of the pies coming out of this particular location has been slipping the past couple of months. Sauce & cheese that doesn’t extend to the crust? Orders for dine-in that are forgotten? Multiple huge dough bubbles? Slices seem to have gotten smaller? Please, stop the downhill slide & right the ship. My last 3 visits were meh ok. This place used to be beyond reproach.

The only saving grace from the review getting 1 star is that they used to make great pizza. I never felt right spending $ 60 on two pizzas and a small salad, but now its to the point that they would have to pay me to set foot in there again. The service blows(Ive had to wait anywhere from 20 – 30 minutes longer than the expected time, which is usually an hour), I’ll order canollis that are F******* hallow in the middle and their pizza is getting more and more bland. If that doesn’t scream scam than I don’t know what does. Don’t waste your time.

I ate here when they first opened, it was good then. Now the only thing good about this place is the soda. Everything we ordered came out burnt, except the garlic knots, I think they got marinated in oil. If you want a pizza that is good I suggest going to food lion next door and get a frozen one and cook it yourself.

I Just moved to NC from New York and this is the best pizza I’ve found in Raleigh. Finally a new york style pizza with great selection of pasta as well. Oh and did i mention Zepoles!

Although once a huge fan, Sergio’s has begun to disappoint me. They have lost the balance between cheese, sauce and crust we NYers have come to appreciate and expect from anyone claiming to be a NY style pizza. Their crust has gotten to hard and doughy and they pile on globs of cheese. I suspect the owner is not overseeing the quality of his product as closely as before. But don’t fret. I have found a new Superstar, Dominic’s NY Pizzeria in North Raleigh in Poyner Village behind the Triangle Town Center Mall. See my reviews on Unilocal,Trip Advisor and Google.

Best pizza in the Triangle. Garlic knots are amazing and so is the pizza and pasta. Prices are great — especially the specials. We love this place for take out.

Great pizzas, especially their buffalo chicken pizza. Covered with a ton of buffalo chicken, it rocks!

Great service. If toppings are your weakness, then this is the place. Their slices are loaded with toppings and are generous in size. My favorite is the buffalo chicken. If you like toppings, check this place out. If you like thin NY style foldable slices from a 20 inch pie, you may be disappointed. The toppings make the slices here. The focaccia chicken sandwiches are great as well. All homemade and fresh. Pasta dishes are huge.

New Owners, Old Recipes! First Part of this new Year the Ownership changed(think they went back to NY) they left behind their recipes and the Amazing Cook! We were just going to see if they had Dessert! You know what happened? This Pizza! This IS New York Style at its best! We had eaten dinner before stopping here and this Pizza looked so good! Usually I buy Pizza by the Pie, to get the Best representation! Ordering a Slice of Pizza(unless this is your Measurement because it is the way you always order) is, well, in my way of thinking, not the best way of determining how good an Establishment can make Pizza! Meat Sauce, wonderfully Meaty with Fresh Garlic and great blend of Herbs! Impressive! Dessert! Yes! Zeppolis! ! ! Similar to a Beignets or Deep Fried Donuts, Covered in Powdered Sugar… See my Photo… Theses are Made to order and only good if you eat them right away while still hot! Eat them Carefully because they are HOT! EAT These Zeppolis at Once!!! Do NOT Take them Home and re-heat them! These are Fantastik! Perfekt! 5-23-2013 Second Dine: Garlic Knots, these are Yummy! Just the right amount of Garlic and oil! Bread…Mmmm I wonder if the Magician in the Kitchen who makes this Great Pizza Crust is also in charge of the Bread, Tastes FRESH, Delicious! Pasta with Meat Sauce is Incredibly MEATY(looks like and Tastes like Meatballs Chopped [kinda Chopped]) with a Garlicky Marinara Punched on top, and ran through… I think it would have been better if it were blended a little, still the flavor was better than most places! Sicilian Pizza! This is a Very Good Sicilian Pizza! We Ordered it with Salami and Onion… The only thing we did NOT like about is was the Salami and Onions! I’m NOT Kidding!!! I appreciate: A «plain» Cheese Topping Pizza! If a place has Good Salami and Onion, YES… If not get a Plain Cheese and you’ll be impressed! We scraped off all the Onion and what was left was impressive and VERY Delicious left over the next day! Dessert ! ! ! If I were going to take away any points for the tiny parts about the meal that could have been better… DESSERTREDEEMED them ALL ! ! ! This time we got a Cannoli! Freshly Stuffed! The Shell was thinner than most and the Filling was THICKER than most! This was a GREAT ratio!!! Really Unique to me! The filling was very RICH as it should be, the Diet starts Monday, maybe… Sandwich was barely ok, ok it was kinda poor!
