Long wait in the waiting room, even right around 8:15AM. They had a good selection of magazines and it’s a spacious enough area that you weren’t super close to other sick people. I came in for a very sore throat– I work on the phones for a living, so it’s important that I can actually speak. The nurse was very sweet who took me back, got all of my vitals, did a throat culture, etc. Where I became very unhappy was when the PA was pretty dismissive when the strep test came up negative. I could barely speak or swallow and felt as if I had a migraine going on in my sinuses, but she said«I think it’s probably allergies. Drink tea.» I’ve had allergies my whole life. I can differentiate between the«oh, there’s pollen outside» scratchy throat feeling and«I’m really sick» feeling. Two days later I’m still sick, coughing up all sorts of nastiness. I’ve missed another day of work and I’ve had to pay another copay at a different doctor because I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. I understand the issues surrounding over-prescribing antibiotics– however, given my history of asthma and sinus issues, I don’t think I deserve someone talking down to me and saying it’s just allergies when I’m very sick.

Excellent urgent care service. Came in with a foot injury and was in/out in less than an hour. They took X-rays on site, and the PA who was on call was very friendly. Only one page of paperwork o fill up at the check-in(always a plus!!!) and they had some toys at the waiting area for kids. The only thing that they are missing is a water fountain in the waiting room, but that is not really a big deal if they keep up with such short waiting time ;)
