Ate at the taco truck this Saturday at the State Fairgrounds. First off, they have a smallish, but entirely sufficient selection of flavors for most people. No lengua, no cabeza, but who cares? Had the chicken adobado and campechano. These tacos are bangin’. Those two tacos were plenty for me. We got — and did not expect — chips and salsa. At a food truck! They had put up some tables and chairs, and we were sitting there enjoying our food. Bryan came out, asked everyone how the food was, what we though of the orange sauce/salsa that was given with the tacos(also bangin’), and even brough us more free chips and salsa. The tacos themselves were obviously fresh and the tortillas made on the spot… watched the lady press them then and there. The meat was tasty, well-seasoned, no gristle or icky bits like I sometimes get. Onions, tomatoes, cilantro as per my order. Look, if I didn’t live so far away from the triangle, Grandotes would be my go-to place for daily lunches. I just«friended» them on Facebook, and hopefully they post when they are where, so that they can be my usual lunch place when I am in Raleigh or Cary.

We come here almost every weekend just for the pork adobado. It includes chips and salsa. Quick service, friendly staff and a clean outdoor seating area. Love love love this place!
