Had the LAST sandwich left!!! I’m glad I got there when I did! One of the best Vietnamese sandwiches around. Had the grilled pork one and it was flavorful and not dry. The bread was definitely fresh… just light and flakey. SOYUMMY! Only complaint is that they are only available on Sundays! :(Trying to time my next visit!

I look forward to every Sunday so I can visit Banh Mi La Long for my chicken banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee fix! Their bread is freshly baked and it’s soft and delicious. If you try their iced coffee, you will never go back to Starbucks iced coffee… ever again! It’s strong and very good. I’ve also tried their tofu banh mi and it’s very good. I don’t eat oink but pork banh mi is their specialty and the feedback from friends is that it’s also delicious. Their smoothies are made from fresh fruits. You can see the owners cut up fresh mangoes & avocados to fill the smoothie orders. If you’re Vietnamese, you will like their salty lemonade. It’s awesome. It’s an acquired taste for those who never tried it. Give it a try and you might just want to come back for more. The only bad thing about this place is that it’s only opened on Sundays.

I love the food from here. I needed my Bahn mi fix and I got it! So good! I tried the authentic and the tofu. Both amazing. Don’t drink the salty drink though haha. That was my mistake. Try one of the fruit smoothies — you will not regret trying this place out. Super highly recommend. The staff is really nice! However, it’s not 5 stars because of that salty drink that’s 4 dollars(like a salty, lime, soda mix that should not be worth that much… maybe 2 dollars) and because there’s always room for improvement. I will come here again, no question. 99.9% perfect!

I first tried Banh Mi sandwiches on a trip to San Jose when I was a college student. The low priced sandwiches at the deli by my motel caught my eye, and I was hooked at first bite. I always keep an eye out while traveling, but it had been a while since I had truly satisfied my Banh Mi cravings. I was happy to learn of Banh Mi Ha Long while browsing Unilocal this week, and visited at the first opportunity. I was not disappointed, as this was the best Banh Mi that I have had since I moved to NC. I ordered the authentic combo and chicken sandwiches, and also tried the iced coffee. The sandwiches were excellent, especially the pâté on the authentic combo. The coffee was good, but perhaps a bit too bitter for my tastes. I am looking forward to my next visit. I especially would like to try the avocado smoothie.

Banh mi, banh mi! Banh Mi Ha Long is a part-time food truck that does just banh mi Vietnamese sandwiches on Sunday afternoons. So you’re hoping they will absolutely kill it since they’ve got a limited menu. My one visit, I popped on over and tried both their grilled pork and chicken banh mi. First thing you’ll notice is the airy, lighter bread which is a great start to any banh mi sandwich. A good mix of meat, pickled veggies, jalapeño and cilantro finished off the sammich. And it’s a tasty sandwich with decent balance, maybe a bit light on the meat but what can you do? A strong Vietnamese coffee finishes off the meal and I’m a happy guy. Banh Mi Ha Long is definitely dishing out real and authentic Vietnamese banh mi. I might still prefer Phở Far East’s version but these are pretty durn good! But you’re going to have to chase this truck down given their limited hours. If you’re in the Cary Crossroads area on a Sunday afternoon, they are definitely worth a look…

Absolutely delicious banh mi sandwiches. We had both the chicken and pork. They are across from baker’s dozen doughnuts on Sunday’s from 11 to 4. We rolled up after they closed and the truck owner waived us in to order, awesome!

Tried it for the first time today. Ordered Pork and Chicken Banh Mi sandwiches, a strawberry smoothie and an ice coffee The Banh Mi sandwiches were delicious. The chicken Banh Mi is very tender and juicy. They are only open on Sundays, I’ll most likely go there again next Sunday.

Holy Batman have you tasted this bangin banh mi? Discovered this food truck on a whim and I’m so glad I did. Apparently they make their own bread from scratch every Sunday morning. Goodness gracious it’s so light, crispy, and chewy. All the fillings are authentic as it gets, homemade mayo, fresh pickled veggies, and perfectly roasted meats. The combination is stellar and this is as authentic as it gets. So next Sunday when you find yourself aimlessly wondering around Cary stop by this rockin food truck and grab two or three sandwiches. That’s right, two or three not one bc you just can’t eat one.

What? I am really the first reviewer of Banh Mi Ha Long? What is wrong with you people??? This little gem of a food truck is in the parking lot of Princess Nail Supply in Cary, across the street from Grand Asia. Lots of parking. First of all, they have amazing Banh Mi. The baguettes are perfect — chewy and crusty. The vegetables are fresh and the spice level is just right. They are quite filling, but my hubby and I still inhaled«The Authentic» or Special Banh Mi. I am hoping we can savor our grilled pork Banh Mi a little bit longer, but who am I kidding? It isn’t long for this world either. My special treat was a Ca phe sua da, or iced coffee — strong and sweet, but not too sweet. I am happy and feeling very energized right now. I will most definitely be back! Next time, I have to try a smoothie.
