Pros: Good price & Free breakfast(doughnut & juice) Cons: obsolete(and not classic), very old key to the room(don’t lose it!!), no Curtain in my room Conclusion: cheapest in town if that’s all that matters to you!

I was concerned with this hotel after reading previous reviews but it was the last available place on a very busy weekend in Racine. We booked the room only one night before staying… Our room was old but the beds were clean and we felt safe. The room could have been cleaner(sink, tub, cobwebs) but the sheets were clean and the carpets and chairs were more than acceptable. One complaint is that the room stunk of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We liked the opportunity to have our car right outside our room for loading and unloading. The staff was nice enough but could have been more detailed in answering a couple questions. The«neighbors» were a bit noisy but we turned the fan up and filtered it out.

So my mom booked this place for the Bristol Renaissance Festival. She booked to late and had to book this place since everywhere else was booked. Knowing it was a 1 star motel we didnt have high expectations. But for 1 night it did the job. It wasnt a place id like to stay at again, but it wasnt a horrible experience like we expected. The beds were clean and they had free WIFI and cable. The bathroom floor was dirty and the service wasnt very good. I go breakfast in the morning(continental breakfast consisted of 1 box of donuts) and then went back to get my mom a donut. The guy behind the counter told me i could not take another donut and that my mom would need to «get it herself». I dont recommend the place but i felt it deserved 1.5 stars.

We won’t be going back. Very cheap. Very basic. Sheets and towels were clean. Carpet and furniture were so old and stained there was no way to know if it was clean or not – certainly did not help the feel. The whole facility feels very old and neglected. Check-in/check-out was easy. Front desk service was minimal but fine.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are dirty and disgusting. The staff is useless and unfriendly. I’ve never felt so unsafe in a motel. We literally stayed 30 minutes before leaving — two days early. The lady at the«front desk» said our second day will be refunded. Though, I highly doubt that’ll actually happen. She didn’t even flinch when I said we were checking out after 30 minutes. Must be a common occurrence. After reading reviews on other sites, and having spent a half hour at this dump, I’m confident in saying this place is most likely a crack house. It appeared that most people staying at the motel were, in fact, living there. Fold out chairs were in front of most rooms. My favorite part was the monogrammed fly swatter in the room — company logo, and all. Nothing says homey like a personalize fly swatter… Spend the extra $ 8 and stay at another motel.

Its a variable motel. Some rooms seem to be clean but all seem to have too much furniture in them. I appreciate the set up of this motel since you can park in front of your room which is nice when you have pets with you.

Knight’s has been further demoted as of this last weekend. Not having had the time to work on a refund or transfer, my companion and I went back. After all, we’d already paid for the rooms. But guess what? No room was to be had. They’d double booked. This, apparently, happens all the time. It’s S.O.P. They’ll book their rooms regardless of online bookings and give them to whoever shows up first. So if you’ve booked and paid online, but they’re full up that day, you’re outta luck because they won’t even look for them when handing out rooms. Even PAIDFOR, no room was saved for us. It took us an hour on the phone to Travelocity, with them talking to this yutz at the counter at Knights Inn to get our money refunded. Then we had to go across the street and pay more for the Super 8. Which is much nicer btw, and worth the cost. What a bunch of A-holes. Getting a refund, and calling whatever customer service center available and pitching an epic fit at them, as well as Travelocity and Wyndham, and anyone else I bloody well feel like that has the misfortune of being associated with this fleabag motel.

For a hotel that is part of a huge chain of renowned hotels(Wyndham), I’m disappointed. While we realize we weren’t checking into a 4 star hotel, we did expect the room to at least be CLEAN. It wasn’t; we found beer cans under the bed, q-tips behind the nightstand and spiders(3 total) in the bathroom. We were never told about the«continental breakfast» at check-in and did not get the extras we’d asked for. In fact, we were told to go to the empty room next door and take some pillows from there. How is that fair to the people staying in that room when/if someone checks in? The two mornings we attempted to go for the«continental breakfast» there was nothing available. What I mean is, NOTHING. No coffee, no juice, nothing! It was supposed to be from 6−10am. Apparently, the front desk is on eastern time because at 9am, it was bare in the room where the food was. All we could find was a newspaper. So our attempt at trying to save money on food was lost. My other beef is that there was absolutely no housekeeping. There was nothing stating that we had to ask for it. Instead of clean towels, we were forced to use the same towels we’d used the day before. Once we discovered this, we had to lay out our towels that were still slightly damp so we could at least have dry, albeit dirty towels, for use the next day. The beds were not remade and we had to remake our own beds. While this isn’t a huge deal, I tend to toss and turn when I sleep and I can pull the sheets off during a night of sleep. I had to fight with the sheets just to get them back on the bed. All in all, we will not be returning to this hotel anytime soon. This place is fine for a cheap place to stay. Just watch out for the bugs.
