Absolutely terrible food! I am at a loss as to how this place has the stars it does. My wife and I had the beef brisket lo mein, the wonton soup and the ginger and scallion beef. The lo mein had three slimy pieces of what was supposed to be brisket but was mostly cartilage and the noodles would have been better if they came out of a can. The wonton soup was okay due to the wontons, but the ginger and scallion beef was one of the worst things I have ever tasted at a Chinese restaurant. Never going back there again!

Love their home made soy bean milk! The owner(I think she is) is very nice, polite, and friendly.

This place is so good and yummy, as their name indicates! It’s not conventional Americanized Chinese cuisine with orange chicken or beef broccoli stuff. It is authentic Chinese food like congee and pork intestines rice plates and noodles. They do have lo mein, chow mein, and fried rice for less adventurous folks. Everything is less than 10 dollars too! They also have a bubble tea menu. Cash is probably preferred. Go give them a try, you will love it!

This place is awesome. It hits all the check boxes for me: great milk tea and soy milk, great service, extensive menu of noodle and rice plates, tasty and delicious, fast, and reasonably-priced. My boyfriend and I had a great meal here(loved the curry fish balls!) and will definitely be back very soon. It’s cash-only, so keep that in mind.

Great little spot! Their duck rice plate is awesome(good alternative to waiwai chicken rice plate from Chinatown which is getting worse by the day). Curry fish balls are pretty good too! We ordered those items along with a salted fish and chicken fried rice today and everything felt authentic there. Thumbs up! CASHONLY!

Great place to dine in or take out! My favorite dish is the salt and pepper chicken wings because they’re so full of flavor and fresh! You can’t go wrong with any of the rice plates either, I typically go with the beef and string beans! Bubble tea is also very good here, with always the perfect ice to tea ratio.

Ordered a large spicy salted pork chop. Would prefer to have more fat but it was good and decently priced.

Dinner earlier with Ryan in Quincy. This was a very small café. Nothing fancy here but the food is decent. Price is on the cheaper end($ 1 less roughly) but portion is also smaller. Highlight of dinner was the wings and their really great service. They were very careful to repeat orders and ensure its what the customer wanted as well as accommodating. They listened well and didn’t rush anything. I am usually a generous tipper but seeing how they interacted with Ryan and I, and then witnessed them interact with 4 other sets of guests and the service was not questionable, Ryan and I were both very impressed and left a really nice tip. They didn’t pick up the cash until we were ready to leave and they thanked us profusely. Would definitely come back here again. Drawback: cash only

This is a true mom and pop shop and is by no means fancy. You don’t come here for the ambiance, you come here for the authentic food that is reminiscent of what your mom made in your younger years. Yummy Café has plenty of loyal customers – you can tell from the nonstop flow of take-out orders. The woman who greets and serves you, whom I suspect is the owner, takes great pride in her business and it shows through her food. If you make a visit here, I highly recommend their salt and pepper squid plate, anything made with black bean sauce, and their herbal tea. My dad could not quit raving over the tea!

I think I go here at least once a month. Probably not the best diet ever but oh well! They are so quick to get you food and the ladies there are so sweet and try their best to help you despite a bit of language barrier. In terms of food, its cheap but huge portions and great in taste. My favorite is the beef chow foon and my boyfriend loves the congee with preserved egg and pork, with a side of fried dough. We absolutely LOVE their spicy salted chicken wings(?). All for the price of roughly $ 20, we get a huge meal we can’t even finish but keeps our stomachs happy

I thought this place was unique. I felt like I was in China. Very hearty meals that are perfect portion size. I love all the pictures and little menu items they have hanging on the walls. The soy milk tea is made fresh every morning by the woman behind the counter. Not to mention the staff is so kind. I’m currently pregnant and this food was very satisfying and tastes clean.

This is a straight up Chinese fast food café, the kind you find all over the place in HK. It’s no way fancy, don’t expect tablecloth and silverware but do come in and expect hearty meals at reasonable prices. Cash only. C’mon ppl, it takes a lot of guts and hearts to offer innards and stuff on one’s menu even if the location is Quincy where diners are more adventurous. I give them credit for emulating the HK style café menu; noodle soup with pork intestines, braised tofu sticks, curry fish balls, etc. Shoutout to the tomato beef rice dish. I can certainly eat that daily. What I am impressed with the most is they make homemade soy milk. You can ask for it to be unsweetened and have sugar on the side for you to add on. The soy milk tasted hearty and thick. You can only get that quality if you make your own. My friends had Chinese fried dough with their soy milk. They fried it to order. That’s A++. You really don’t want fried dough that has been sitting out for too long, they get all limp and soggy and yuck! Their soy sauce braised duck got some love from two friends who ordered their noodles with the duck slices. Succulent and tender. I had the plain congee, nothing to write home about. Had a couple bites of the egg fried rice. Very full of «wok hei». This is the kind of place that fits your budget any day of the month. Simple food done right.

This is a good place to eat with a group of 4. Not so much for large groups. The service is good. It is run by this lady and sometimes another lady. The food there is cheap and I mean under 10 $ for most of the entries. It’s a relatively small place but it’s the food the matters in the end. I don’t eat there often but I always drop by to get the hot and sour soup from there after work.

This place is amazing. Authentic very tasty food, and great price! The owner is a very nice lady. Ever since I found this little restaurant, I come here almost everyday. Their congee and noodles are so good. Food is neither too salty nor oily. Try their duck too!

I’ve come here a couple of more times since. The service is really great and the food is really fresh. Though I’ve had better, the waitress(older Asian woman with short hair) is such a sweetheart. Since my initial visit, I’ve tried the congee, chow mein, scallion pancake, and chicken wings. Everything here has a nice«homemade» authentic taste to it. The congee is rather bland and watery, but it was tasty and filling. They allow you to customize it to your liking too! Upping my review to four stars.

A small Hong Kong food place. Food that you can’t seem to find in Quincy but in chinatown. Very nice services and friendly to all customers. Enjoy authentic Hong Kong style foods they have there. Fresh foods and try the duck. They are famous for that there. Love there milk tea. It’s true to its name… It’s a yummy café

Simple, HK style small plates for when you are flying solo or looking for a quick bite. Food comes out quick and the owner pretty much runs the front from taking orders to making drinks to getting your bill. There is also another lady that runs food out from time to time. Be mindful that is it CASHONLY. We come here about once a month and everything is always fine, though never breaking the great barrier. Congee is a bit lacking ingredients. The wontons, their once claim to fame, has diminished in size and is not as tasty as before. The beef udon comes out swimming in oil. Curry fish balls are super fishy(sounds like an oxymoron, but it’s true)! Most places use a half avocado in their shakes, but Yummy’s tasted more like a quarter. In the end, food is food and cost is reasonable. For sure beats me having to cook on a lazy weekday, but just another fast food eatery in the Wollaston area.

Authentic Hong Kong food in Quincy, what more can you ask for? I had beef brisket soup with other stuff added to it. Delicious. I’m not exactly a connoisseur of this soup, but it tasted close enough to what I had in HK. I wasn’t disappointed! Don’t miss out on the specials on the wall. Some are even only in Chinese, so bring a friend to interpret for you if you can! I think they are not intentionally leaving people out, they just haven’t gotten to translating some of the handwritten stuff they posted yet.

Their bubble tea is good. I love the iced taro milk tea. For $ 2.50 without boba, you can’t go wrong. I haven’t tried the food but there’s always someone in there eating at a table. It must be good. Nowadays bubble tea drinks are so expensive around $ 3.50−4.00. I like knowing i can get a plain drink for under $ 3 11⁄2015 still good food with more pictures. prices went up however. finally tried some plates of food. a bit salty.
