Great View, food, & verity. Can get really busy, but that’s expected. It has that great summer vibe. My favorite is getting a Shrimp & Scallop plate with a Cajun seasoning. Would recommend with anyone to check it out if there in the Wollaston Beach area.

Heard about Tony’s from a «top 10 boston lobster rolls» list. Tony’s is known for piling on the lobster, which I can say, they do. Unfortunately that lobster tends to lack flavor. It tasted just of lobster and mayo. Pricing was average to good for the amount of lobster you get($ 19.99). While I was here at the clam shop I tried some steamers as well. Good, hot and steamy, and served with clam juice and butter. Maybe they were late in the season, but they were all pretty sandy. This was all well and fine, except then service was pretty lacking. It was the last day before closing up for the season, and the girl at the counter was visibly bored out of her mind. I’d feel sorry for her, except that it’s her job? A phone order came and she was complaining about having to take it. Glad I wasn’t on the other end of it. An okay meal if in the area, but I’d move on to the next clam shop.

Excellent stop for very good New England style seafood. The value to price ratio is quite fair I would say. They are very consistent in what they serve, and have organized a quick moving system to handle a high volume of customers. We have tried and really enjoy the fried fish, broiled fish and fried shrimp. Both indoor and outdoor seating(with umbrella’s) available. Closed over winter!

3.75 is more what I would give it. There are a handful of places on Quincy Shore Drive where you can get your grub on, but Tony’s is definitely the place you want to spend your money. The portions are plentiful, the service is fast and friendly, and you have the choice of either dining indoors or outdoors. The very unfussy décor can throw people off, but don’t let it deter you. I have yet to try something at Tony’s I didn’t like.

Just a short drive from our new apartment, we thought we’d go and check out Tony’s Clam Shop and boy am I glad we did! Steamers were da bomb, albeit a bit gritty, but that’s expected. The clam broth was much appreciated to clean them off in. Seafood platter was delicious and the fries hit the spot. I am a big fan now of their homemade hot sauce. I cannot wait to check this place out in the summer since it’s dog friendly! Great, casual spot, with a water view, where you can get fresh seafood and beer.

Lobster rolls, my friends! My first time trying them ever and I wondered where they have been all my life! I got the lobster roll with mayo and I smothered it with sriracha(of course I had tried it without the sriracha). It was so good! And comes with chips. Can’t wait to try other stuff here. The cashier was so friendly! She even gave us extra butter for the buttery lobster rolls… Will definitely stop by again the next time I’m in Boston!

A great find for a relatively new Bostonian. We knew about this place from my family, who came here once before we did. On our first visit we had a lobster roll and fried seafood platter to share. It was the first time I had a lobster roll, and I was amazed at what I got — a light toasted bun topped with large chunks of lobster. There wasn’t too much mayo, which is a plus for me. The fried seafood platter was a mound of delicious fish, shrimp, scallops and clam strips on top of a bed of French fries. The raspberry lime Rickey was a nice refreshing drink to accompany dinner on a summer evening. There is outdoor seating, and the restaurant is on Quincy Shore Drive across from the bay. There is a nice view of the city. My only complaint is that they appear to not have cocktail or seafood sauce.

The beautiful view aside, I was very skeptical of MA seafood growing up on an island in RI where my seafood was typically caught by me earlier that day or someone I know. I was pleasantly surprised with this tourist trap. Went on a Sunday night, and though feeding a family of 5, it only took about 30 minutes. I got the broiled scallops, that may have been seasoned with a little too much lemon, the perfectly cooked rice pilaf made up for it. My mom got the spicy fish that was fantastically flavored. My nephew got steamers, which were plentiful. The French fries were great as well. Recommend this spot for sure!

The place to go for«clam strips, clam bellies, and shrimp». The staff are helpful and friendly, the food is great, and despite the chaos and busy times, my orders are usually served in a timely manner The clam bellies are mouth watering and so delicious. The batter is perfect and the clams are fresh. No complaints except the price… It seems as though they raise the price a couple dollars every month or so.

I love love love the clam strips at this place and it’s my go to meal every time ! We came on a Sunday, and we ordered two lobster rolls and clam strips. It’s mid July, and let me tell you, they did not skimp out on the filling. THELOBSTERMEATINTHELOBSTERROLLWASRIDONKULOUSSSS! I kid you not, it was stuffed to the max and it was cooked perfectly. It’s a must have along with the delicious clam strips!

This is my second time at Tony’s and the food here is just as good as when I first tried it. The lobster roll might be pricey, but so worth it. I could barely see the bun with that pile of lobster meat on top. I had to pick off some of the meat before I could even hold the bun. Yes, it was that heavy, too. The lobster was lightly mayonnaised, so it didn’t compromise the flavor of the meat. We also got the seafood platter with whole belly clams for $ 24.95. I was so full by the time I had half of a lobster roll that I could barely touch the platter. The seafood was not over fried. The fried haddock remained juicy and soft. Seafood meal with Wollaston beach as the back drop. What more do you want?

Absolutely love this place! It’s my go to whenever I have a craving for fried whole clams. Skip the platter option and just order it by the bucket. Crispy and served super hot right out of the fryer — so delicious. I also especially like the fact that they’ve got the ordering system down pat as well. I remember the old days when it was chaos to order and pick up when there’s a lot of people. I’m sure I’ll be back again before the summer’s over. 5 stars allll the way!

When we walked in at about 11:15 for lunch the place had a smell to it that wasn’t pleasant. It looked clean. The bathrooms were not what I would call clean — the toilet, sink and mirror were spotless but the trim and corners need a spring cleaning. We ordered hot dogs for the kiddos and they were awesome but a tad overpriced at about $ 3 each without sides. I had a crab-cake on the side and it was delicious. Good texture, nice crisp outside. It tasted like it might have been fried in real butter. One of the best crab cakes I’ve had. It was served with a dill pickle spear. The crab cake sauce was also very good. Also got a shrimp platter with fries and cole-slaw. I’m from the south so I was surprised there was no cocktail sauce and no lemons. Only tartar sauce, malt vinegar, mustard, salt, relish, onions, ketchup, two pepper sauces, & pepper. The shrimp were great. Cole-slaw looked scary compressed in its plastic container but was very good. Fried were average. It was a bit pricey but very good food.

Best steamer clams I’ve ever had in my life! $ 15 gets you 1.5 pounds of their most precious succulent littes suckers cooked to al dente perfection with a side of butter sauce. My eyes are still white cause they rolled so far back after the first few bites. Tony’s dining room is also 5x’s nicer than the Clam Box and 20 degrees cooler.

This is by far the best clam shop I’ve been to. I love how the menu is so extensive with many choices for subs, fried foods, beer, and sandwiches. The location is perfect with it being right across the street from Wollaston Beach and next door so it’s own ice cream shop. Tony’s has a lot of seating as well — both indoors and outdoors. I highly recommend eating outside to enjoy the nice ocean breeze. I highly recommend ordering the fried clam strips! It’s so crispy and you can actually taste the clams. Most of the clam shops I’ve been to had only a few pieces of clams and the rest were just fried batter. The fried clam strips here are also seasoned perfectly. The french fries are really good too. It’s crispy and not soggy(thank goodness). I ordered the lobster roll for the first time today and I think it’s my new favorite. They have huge chunks of lobster in here and they put A LOT into the roll too! It’s a mouthful, but SO yummy. I really recommend this if you love lobster rolls! You can always count on Tony’s for great food. Perfect place to hang out with your friends and have a chill day too. They are also opened pretty late too so that’s always a plus. Oh they have a parking lot too. Can’t beat that!

I am all for fried seafood once in a while and Tony’s hit the spot. Their portions are humongous, but so filling. I ended up getting a fried scallop and shrimp plate with coleslaw and fries The scallops at Tony’s always taste like they’ve been seasoned well prior to being fried. The coleslaw was fresh and so delicious. The clam chowdah wasn’t my favorite because I kept crunching on shells of some sort? NOT sure why, but that wasn’t appetizing or appealing. I didn’t finish my main course because it was so much and I’m sure my sister has gobbled it up by now since I left it at her apartment! Aside from their big portions and vast menu, Tony caters to the vegetarians on our planet! My brother in-law is a vegetarian and was jumping for joy when he ordered tabouli salad, side of falafel, and fries. I know I would be ecstatic if I was a vegetarian fully. I am not quite there yet as I am a pesco-vegetarian so seafood is what I LOVE. The only criticism that I have for this lovely seafood restaurant, is that there’s no ice cream or tasty dessert. It does state in the menu to head over to a ice cream parlour down the street from them, but it would be nice to have ice cream at Tony’s! Either way, I’ll be going to Tony’s for seafood when I’m in the Quincy area.

First of all, THEOLDERPICTURESYOUSEEARETAKENINSEASON(except for mine), okay let’s start. We tried Tony’s once before; must have been forgettable. Before deciding to eat here for lunch; we called and asked are lobsters and whole belly clams INSEASON. We were told YES! Tony’s has a limited parking area. But there’s a lot across at the beach. Tony’s also has limited seating inside; so unless you want to hear EVERY conversation; sit OUTSIDE(too bad it was cold today). Apparently, there are 3 types of clams(strips, medium belly and large bellies). When I ordered; I WASNOTASKED, even though saying WHOLEBELLY(which size do you want? should have uttered out the order taker’s mouth). We ordered a 2 hot-dogs plate for my partner. Me, of course got the whole bellies. AGAIN2 sizes and not asked. WHAT I GOTWAS A TOTALLETDOWN. Apparently, I received the larger bellies. Therefore I got less. If I had ordered the small bellies, I think I would have received more for what I paid. The place is clean, especially the condiments area. BUT that would change in the INSEASON days. With the hype of the Phantom Gourmet, Tony’s is definetly taking advantage of that FREE advertisement and running wild and giving less food BEFORE the season hits. NOTHANKSHERE, I’LLTRYTHECLAMBOXNEXTTIME. Hot Dog Plate $ 9.65(descent)(3⁄5) Hot Dogs and fries were okay. Large Belly Clams $ 21.95(OVERPRICED)(2⁄5) (Sorry, but for $ 2 more I could have had a Seafood Platter). The DUMBASS order taker could have told me that. I would have ordered it instead. How asinine. OVERPRICEDANDOVERHYPEDFOODWITHNOTASTE!!! Some how it’s still getting a 2 star.

Summer in the city! Or just about — you can see the Boston Skyline if you look to the left. Tony’s Clam Shop is located in Quincy across the street from Wollaston Beach, which simply adds to the summer atmosphere of our seafoody meal. Umbrellas pepper their patio tables, but we opted to sit within. A cute plastic lobster buzzer lit up and shook to alert me to pick up my tray of goodies at the counter, by where I had just earlier placed and paid for my order — credit card accepted! Tony’s Famous Lobster Salad Roll comes with a pickle and a bag of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips for $ 19.95 and consists of a toasted hot dog roll, a thin bed of lettuce, and a generous mound of lobster claw and knuckle meat, lightly dressed with mayo and a sprinkle of Old Bay Seasoning. Not sure why they call it lobster *salad* but this was one DC’s self-proclaimed best and largest lobster roll experience. The clam roll with french fries was upgraded to sweet potato fries for a surcharge, thus bringing the tally up to $ 15.44. Unfortunately the s.p. fries lacked some of that natural sweet spud flavor, so they weren’t quite up to par. We counted 8 rather sizeable whole clams to the bun, and I was utterly full when I finished my half of the two rolls — and this after having left the chips and pickle untouched. After the fact I kind of wish that I had sought out some tartar sauce to eat with the clams, but c’est le vie! The medium(the smaller option of 2) raspberry lime rickey $ 2.89(vs $ 3.79) was just right for me. And it was quite a refreshing treat after a hot morning of fun and exercise. Additional parking is available out back.
