I give this place credit for holding a candle to such beachside giants as Tony’s Clam Shop and the Clam Box. And hold a candle they do.
The guys in here are always in a great mood, they make your order fresh and the price is great to boot. I enjoy their french fries and I’ve had a black and white shake from there I was pretty into for a while.
They have a nice street side sitting area with old school lounge stools and a high top rail… in case you want to take in the beauty of Quincy Shore Drive at lunch.
I love the feel of places like this, and when The Clam Box is too jammed with people to even get in the door… I head to Beachside Johnny’s.

If you happened to be driving by Wollaston Beach this past Saturday night, I was the obviously drunk girl trying to hail a cab while simultaneously inhaling an amazing steak and cheese sub from Beachside Johnny’s. My only apology? I lost some of the steak to the pavement.
