Richmond hill is basically«my hood», I’ve always seen this place & never dared to eat from here because of the reputation this place carries. But you can’t always believe what you hear right? I decided to swing by after checking the previous reviews from this place & to also fill my craving of a chicken gyro. Oh boy was I pleased, but $ 7 is too kind of too pricey considering the amount of food you get from the halal carts for $ 7. Anyway it was very much worth it. The chicken was juicy and the sauces were amazing :-D

I recently had the gyro deluxe here. I was surprise how good the lamb was. Close to Astoria(Greek) quality. It came with fries which are always good and a Greek salad. However, I must say the fetta was no way close to a good quality fetta but for the area it was good. However, the salad was fresh. The white sauce with the gyro was also very good. I actually did overall enjoy it. NEG — This is a dive bar for a bunch of drunk lonely old men. I was also told it’s a gay bar. God i hope not, otherwise too many jokes about the white sauce. Good news is that you can order at the window outside on the sidewalk without going inside. *Glory*h@le joke there. 2nd Neg. The google review from google maps search, had 1 negative review. The person noted that they found a finger nail in their gyro. The post was from 2009. Hopefully, they cleaned up their act since. But will make me think twice before going again.
