This place is horrible. Ordered take out and waited really long. They also informed me of a 10% tax on my order which I paid reluctantly due to hunger that day. When we got the food home it was ¾ filled containers and can tell it the vegetables were from a frozen pack. The pork meat had hair on it, yuk. I would say this was poor quality food for the price they charge. Never again.

They’re the type of restaurant that will not only give you what you didn’t order, but will also screw your actual order up. Beware! If you visit ALWAYS ask for your receipt. The food they serve is mediocre at best. The fry rice/chow mein have more vegetables than rice/noodles.

The food sucks. Seriously. I ordered the chicken fried rice, fish cake, and roti. The roti is hard(crunchy), the fish cake might as well just be a potato cake. The chicken fried rice is shockingly nasty. There’s way too much star anise in it(who uses star anise in rice anyway?) and is fibrous(from what? I have no idea). The chicken is not actually in the rice it’s fried on the side with bbq sauce(where did that even come from?) dribbled over it. The chicken tastes stale, as if it were cooked yesterday and reused today. I leaned my lesson and will never eat from them again. I just wish I could get my $ 20 back. Oh, delivery was very prompt.

Very convienent local spot, it is a very friendly environment, love the music & people. However over & over I am dissapointed with the food. whether it is appetizer or entrée it disappoints me. Most of the time the food is old or cold. It takes a very long time for food to be served and thinking since you waited this long you will be happy. I would like to see improvements with freshly made appetizers & food. besides being delicious it is not worth the wait for dissapointment.

Best way to keep people coming back is definitely 2+ hour delivery and mediocre food. Keep it up. Your business will be booming!

Food was very tasty! Excellent! Delivery was under an hour on a Friday night, which is understandable. –½ star Food prices ehhh not outrageous, again reasonable. Bills have to be paid and mouths have to be feed. okay! I get it. Portion size. you have to be fu*#n kiddin me! I HADJERKCHICKEN… 1 ½ pieces of chicken cut up to be exact… that was considered a large. Lets get real we are not at war… stop rationing! I paid $ 10! Not to mention most of the chicken was bones. If I wanted to be on a diet, I would of went to subways. –1 ½ stars.

Ordered take out and like the previous reviews said it took over an hour to come. We had two orders of the oxtails with rice and peas. The oxtails had good flavor but were very fatty and for the very few oxtails they give you I was disappointed.

If you enjoy receiving your food 2 hours later then when you originally order it, then this place is great! I would not recommend at all.

I came here with a friend for a few drinks and to enjoy the karaōke for the night. I enjoyed the mature crowd and nice vibe of the place. The music varied from old skool reggae, calypso to current music. We had some wings and fries for appetizers and drinks that were good. It seemed like a lot of regulars come here since everyone seemed to know each other or someone. I would defintely return to just chill.

Wow, this was the infamous Robert’s Lounge a Lucchese and Gambino hang out! In fact the owner Jimmy Burke is portrayed in the movie Goodfellas! I wonder if its haunted with all the bodies that were found buried in the basement back in June 1980. Well, C’est la vie and bon appetit!

They have events going on every night. Mostly karaōke based with complimentary appetizers. Friendly atmosphere. I’m 32 years old but most of the patrons are in their 40s and up. Nice place to go if you don’t wanna be bothered by an immature crowd. The fried shark and goathead soup are very good. The steamed snapper too. Happy hour from 4 – 8. And I just had the oxtail with rice and peas and the meat fell off the bone just the way I like it. Owner is VERY nice! Gave us another round on the house. Very hospitable. Highly recommended.

I wandered in here last night with some friends and family. It definitely was a local place– only one person was working as far as I could tell and it looked like all regulars at the bar. We were clearly the only ones there to eat but the food was great– big portions for a good price. I had the curry goat with rice and peas which was really good. The atmosphere was interesting because we happened to be there on karaōke night, no one was singing but music videos were playing on the tv behind us which was a little distracting, but just part of the experience I guess.
